I have the second highest DirecTV package, yet I don't get this channel. What the crap. (The board is flaking out on me too. Keeps putting the word Save at the bottom of my post, no matter how often I edit and delete it...) SaveTry 610 on Direct TV

He was a verbal commit to UAB initially, wonder if he will lean that direction. That is still right at four hours from his home town. I would think if Troy worked hard they could pull him in with the coaches we have on board.

Seems some kids don't want to work and earn playing time. One spring does not decide your career. I think they just think they are entitled to playing time. This is the second qb to transfer after early enrolling in spring. Sorry guys, you earn the right to start and play. Also many things can happen. Levi could have transferred coming out of spring 2008. What happened? Two went down, he got his shot and made history. Sometimes it's not the player and his Patience but the parents and their patience when it comes development and playing time at this level of play.

After a better defensive season in 2015, the Troy Trojans look to take the next step forward with an experienced and explosive defensive line t.co/QfcRs3vlST?ssr=true

Got that, but he was part of the 2015 class and enrolled on 8/30/2015. He was even in the recent 'dance' video. I'm not sure why he's missing from the roster. He has been at all of the Spring practice, seen him working with the Two's and Three's. Like I said before that Spring depth chart will change come the Fall and the 2016 season

When I attended practice for the players reunion I spent a lot of time watching the OL. I'm puzzled about center. The JC signee was running first team center and #57 was at guard. On the depth chart #57 is first team center and the JC kid isn't listed. Does anybody have insight? JC signee got home sick and has returned to his home town in Texas

By the end of Fall Camp and the beginning of the 2016 season the depth chart will change. Players that were out for the Spring due to them trying to get healthy will be added and some that are on the chart now will move up or down. The coaches use this time of the year to gauge by. I also would not look to hard at the weights of players due to they still look like the same weights they used last season.

NOT trying to be a smart aleck, but maybe society has programmed us to think that "break ground" means to have a ceremony with gold plated shovels, dignitaries, and large machinery ready to move soil immediately. ACTUAL definition of break ground is "do preparatory digging or other work prior to building or planting something". Based on the REAL definition, they did break ground in either December or January since the soil samples HAVE been taken as mentioned by Possum. I agree that we CAN expect more development and news regarding this "project" in the near future. I will continue to trust the process :-) Also not trying to be a smart aleck but the definition for breaking ground in the construction world: "is to start digging the foundation for a building". With that said I have not seen any heavy equipment around the field house or stadium digging or moving dirt for a foundation.

I'm ready to see the Nigerian Nightmare take the field! And good lord does Zo Bridges look like a beast on film. Both of them on the field at the same time will be a long day for our opponents. Lucky will most likely redshirt I would think. May Gray shirt before he red shirts. Gives him a full five years to learn and play.

We are killing it at DE/BAN/LB. We were the best front seven in the SBC last season along with maybe App State (not something I thought I'd hear). With Lebbie, Dillard, Stadom, McGhee, Cain, Lucas, Lloyd, Smiley, the addition of coach Jordan Lesley (likely a bigger impact than many realize), and these new guys, we are truly building a monster. Need to give props to the inside guys that were working in the trenches. They got better and better each game when it came to stopping the run and putting pressure on the QB. Calloway, Sanders, Peek and Slater will all be returning in 2016. The D should be even better this up coming season!

Troy: Per source, East Mississippi CC defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley has joined the Troy staff as a defensive line coach. Lesley spent three seasons at EMCC and was a part of two NJCAA national championships in 2013 and 2014. Keep track of open FBS assistant jobs here. Mr. Jordan Lesley is on board and will be helping Coach Bama work with the D-line.

Someone help me understand the reason the Troy Athletic Department or Troy University would not want to help send the young man at no cost to him. I would think that him going, he would be representing Troy and the team he poured his heart into the past 5 1/2 years.

Great scrambler with a strong accurate arm. He does bail from the pocket quickly but from the film he often didn't have a choice. Can't imagine what the hold up might be. Worth a contact! He holds on to the ball way to long and this causes him to have to scramble to much. That type of play at the D-1 level will not work due to the speed he will see. As a QB he looks like he would fit in well as a D-1AA or D-2. Hope he gets the offers he wants and plays at the next level. Good luck to the young man.
