I actually expect quite a few SOTS alumni at the game that do not usually come. Actually had two of them tell me that a while back they have not been to Troy in about 20 years......so hopefully the Greeks and everyone else will be there supporting the Trojans GO TROJANS!!!!

Try having 4 losing seasons in a row...working on 5 and see if your team wouldn't seek fan support as well. Everybody loves a winner...

I understand vey well that you do what you have to do to try and build as much fan support as you can. Just a little back story to my trip to the game this weekend. About a week after ordering tickets to the game my son informed me that his girlfriend who I had ordered a ticket to the game had a transfer student orientation at Troy this Saturday. As part of this orientation Troy would be providing tickets to the game. What better way to help built support than to get kids planning to attend Troy on campus, treat them right, feed them a good lunch, them have them attend the football game.

I certainly hope that you all have a safe trip and enjoy yourselves. There's usually a tour of the campus that's involved as well.

Judging by the videos, it looks like Bryan Holmes may be getting a lot balls this weekend. Hopefully we pull out the go ball early and often.

Guess we don't need to shout out to cent fl for support??? Home of #18,#98, #58,#57 and #30 There's a much better chance of persuading someone two hours or less to change their plans and make the trip to Troy. I'm not sure how many are going to chsnge their plans for a six hour one way trip on Saturday.

It almost sounds like bad attitudes on this thread ... Lets keep the main thing the main thing! Winning! I believe in this staff and this team and they need/deserve their fans in the seats this Saturday cheering for them. My daughter is a Phi Mu at Troy and Coach Brown has been to each organization encouraging them and thanking them for their support. Go Troy!

I have posted LaMarcus Farmer's video to my Twitter. The Florida panhandle is a great supporter ofTrojan Football and we are proud of our area's players like Farmer and Flakes! We will be there Saturday.

Let's be honest....most who are coming have decided already to do so.....but every butt is welcome and those few who are persuaded may just see something that they like from the band to the field....I think GS will have some fans so the good thing is a better crowd than last game....should be sunny then cool but Trojans playing pretty well good opponent with fans and SOTS alumni ...with a Greek bunch that Neal has connected with.....should be exciting ......could be the begginging of a trend to have folks showing up again......predicted 22008 crowd

Troy coming off a big win at home = more fans. No rain = more fans. Better opponent = more fans. Georgia Southern fans = more fans. Alumni band - more fans.
Should be a better crowd, as buzz has alluded to. Looking forward to it!
