While bragging about not missing a home game in 12 years, an employee said "what do you do when it rains like it's gonna do tomorrow", I thought my reply was simple. I wear a rain coat and get wet a little wet. The end! See you guys tomorrow I hear that crossfit stuff will make you tough like that!

A coach probably, a player not during football related activities probably not Press. Conference might be football related I think Thought you said it was on TSN that you saw it

Bookstore has gear from Russell,Adidas,Underarmor and Nike no breach and Adidas does so much for smaller schools I don't think we are switching But does a player or coach wearing a school logo on a different apparel maker violate the Adidas agreement? A coach probably, a player not during football related activities probably not

Heading to Starkville for the first time for this game. Any recommendations of places to eat or things to see/do on their campus?

I don't know how people say this isn't a rivalry. Have you seen the hatred between these two baseball teams or the energy the basketball teams play with? Or even the two soccer teams have a good thing going in their last several games. It's a natural rivalry and it's only going to get better as time passes. Definitely a natural rivalry. The main problem is it hasn't went on for decades or years like other rivalries. Even myself (class of 90) this is a foreign rivalry. It will take time but we need to embrace it as a heated rivalry. It will only grow each year Do we have any games that have gone on for decades? Even our "rivalry" with MTSU hadn't been played that long but it was a good one. If that's a criteria I'm not sure we will have a rival because of how much our schedule fluctuates and how much our conference has changed/will change.

So there is an actual belt that the winning team will get to keep as bragging rights??? If so, are there any pictures of this belt? On a side note, I would like to play MTSU in the future some time to have the Battle for the Palladium back in play momentarily. I always thought that was a good rivalry. Probably more so now since they are CUSA and seem to think that they are amazing for getting into a podunk conference. Yes and I'm not sure if we will see it until game time or after.

Was a name ever given to this game? Battle for the Belt is something the two SGAs came up with. The teams will play for a WWE style championship belt. also ties in the black belt, sun belt

Troy is no stranger to upsetting the P5 schools.... Not saying that will happen, but we have a history of beating them and playing them close. I'm not sure we have a history of beating them as much as covering the spread. We are 4-42 all-time against P5 schools and one of those wins came against Florida State in 1947.

I'm driving the RV up to the game tomorrow - 1st RV trip for the fam. I've been trying to confirm where I can park it for the last couple weeks (I was to late to buy one of the season passes for sartain lot) but so far I have not been able to get anything confirmed. Anyone have a suggestion? The gravel lots behind Sartain are a good spot. Nice and shaded. Also a lot of RVs park in The Pit between the J-School and old SAGA. That lot actually got paved recently and the trees taken down. Still roomy and a close to everything but no longer shaded.

Trojan Walk for the players will begin at 3:45. It will be the route used the later games last year where they will be dropped off the buses at the corner of tailgate terrace.

What about their stadium? Currently seats 8,000. Great program and a great coach worth a ton of money From their site: Phase I of the stadium construction included 6,408 seats, while Phase II added almost 1,000 additional seats prior to the 2006 season. The third phase of Brooks Stadium was completed in 2010 when approximately 1,600 seats were added directly behind the north end zone. Affectionately referred to as the Chantourage section, the seating in directly in front of Adkins Field House was designated as the student section in 2011. Brooks Stadium accommodates approximately 9,400 fans and was designed to grow with the football program, with a future capacity for up to 20,000 fans.

Not going to happen. Until the lots they are talking about being unfilled are filled, they aren't going to build more. There isn't a parking issue as much as a parking convenience issue. Students have to be willing to walk. Troy is not a big campus at all. unless they want to run a shuttle 24/7, then it's an issue. Not just one of convenience, either. If a woman has to walk in the dark in an already shady enough area, it's not ok. Residents should have spots, that's not what I was talking about. It's the commuters who come on to campus expecting to park right next to their building,

Same thing happened with MTSU and the battle for the palladium. That ended up being a good rivalry. South is a good natural rivalry and it makes sense to turn it into something bigger

Jervis was soft and that is not debatable. He definitely wasn't a banger, but he could ball...that's not debatable either... I would say that's debatable. I like tom and all but he wasn't a stretch 5 because he couldn't shoot a jumper and as already mentioned wasn't tough on the inside. He could block some shots though

According to several sources the shields are gone. It's a new day and the "Power T" will be the new norm for Trojan Football. Will that also be changed on the field?
