I think it would be something Montgomery would want. I work in the Hospitality industry in Montgomery and heard this in passing this morning.

If (When) Troy is in the Championship Game and is the higher ranked team, is there any chance that game would be played in Montgomery?

Another weird October - Play Oct. 4th, 9 days later on Oct. 13, 10 days later on Oct. 23 and 10 days later on Nov. 3rd. We survived a similar scenario last year with the exception "that team who shall not be named", but it's hard to find a rhythm with that schedule.

I was fortunate enough to get to Lincoln for the first game and had a great time. Your fans are first class as was the steak I had later that day!

I had the pleasure of meeting Brian last night and was very impressed. He will be a great role model for these players.

I believe when Neal Brown leaves, it will be on good terms. I'm sure he will, if asked, provide input on who would be a good fit. He will not want what he has done to go backwards.

Not sure if this link will work, but Maria Martin , sports reporter for WSFA tweeted that multiple sources have reported that Coach Brown has interviewed for, and is a top candidate for the job at Arizona. To follow her on Twitter it is @riamartin. I hope this is not true.

Pierre Masperos for Bloody Marys. They also have a great Gumbo. It's on the corner of Chatres and something else.

From the ESPN article:
Returner: Marcus Jones, Troy
Jones had more touchdowns this season than Alabama star Calvin Ridley -- and Jones doesn't play offense. In addition to his pick-six on D, Jones took three kick returns to the house -- tied for third-most nationally -- and his 789 kick return yards ranked ninth nationally. Jones averaged 33 yards per return, 7 yards more than any other freshman and the fourth-best rate in FBS.

This is not on Troy. We knew for sure yesterday and they sent out information yesterday. On line it may say sold out. I called in and asked for the New Orleans Bowl - not Troy as the hotel just found out yesterday that Troy was the team. Also make sure that if they say sold out, that they are not referring to the room type. A room type may be sold out but not the block of rooms. Just a tip from a hotelier. Our hotel will host MTSU - and I will walk around with my Troy Yeti all next week!

I won't be able to make the trip but I will be watching from home. Whether we are playing North Texas or Clemson, the game is going to be fun and making the bowl will benefit the program. Now I want to shift gears just a bit. For those of you going to NOLA, find a way, some way, somehow, no matter where you are staying to make your way to the Marriot on Canal for the TROJAN walk. The walk in '10 was one of the most amazing things I've participated in as a TROY supporter. We filled the lobby and poured out into the street. The SOS blew the doors off and the team literally had to push their way through the crowd. '10 was the last year of our previous championship run and as good as it was, we didn't have the level of support we have now. As good as the walk was then, this one should be exponentially better. Don't miss the opportunity to inject energy into the team and experience something amazing. Routine Saturday TROJAN walks can't hold a candle to what's going to happen in that lobby. As an addendum, will those of you making the trip, as you wander around the French Quarter or hang out in the lobby of the Marriott, PLEASE scream HAVOC! continuously on my behalf. You are right - that was one of the best Trojan Walks ever. Grown men had tears streaming down their faces.

To paraphrase: "I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a message board, who rises and cheers under the blanket of the winning season that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'Go Trojans' and go on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a football, and throw a pass. Either way, I don't give a damn, what you think you are entitled to! Nice. But would not recommend your above statement at a Trojan Warrior meeting, to a booster or any fundraising event when you are asking for money. this comment was meant to be taken as tongue-in-cheek.

Is it me, or were all the players who rushed to celebrate Jamarius Henderson's touchdown there for containment? He really is fast and it has been fun to watch him stretch his legs these last two games.

Trojans Generations will still be tailgating, rain or shine - Bloody Mary's and Mimosa Bar with Chicken and Waffles! I sat through a tornado one Homecoming and only left when they called the game. I was leaving the stadium when a man and his young son grabbed me and flung me to the ground at the tornado came over. Regarding the mid week games I wish we could limit it to 2 per season. We play Saturday, 5 days later we play Idaho, 9 days later we play Coastal and 14 days later we play Texas State. There has been no rhythm to this season for the team or tailgating.
