My son was # 10 to sign up and to say he is exited about that trip would be a understatement. He told me that students at Troy are pumped up about some Trojan football this year...makes me want to be a student again myself....Go Troy Go....PLEASE keep on WINNING!

I'm thinking that Troy will hold NMSU to under 100 points and Troy will score...Do you think Vegas will take that bet?

I'm from Sarasota Florida, a very culturally diversified city with some of the top ranked beaches in the world. I came to Troy as a student 26 years ago and fell in love with it. I love the small town atmosphere, so much so that when I graduated from Troy that I had to down size and move to a little town called Highland Home...Don't laugh...We have a IT DON"T MATTER RESTRAUNT! Point is believe it or not there are thousands and thousands of people living in huge cities that would love to live or at least spend a few days in a friendly, laid back small town in Alabama called Troy

Just enjoy.....you blink and they are graduating and attending Troy as students...I've got one at Troy this year...I can promise you that there is not a bigger Troy fan on that campus then my son....I raised him right, and I've got three more still at home that have been raised right too. I just wish ALL Troy Alumnus raised their kids right....Troy Nation would be HUGE!

Very sad news! The good news is that he had his priorities in life straight....JESUS # 1!...The ultimate/main goal in life is to get to Heaven, and through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our separation from our loved ones on Earth is only temporary. My prayer is that may GOD comfort this young man's family like only HE can during this time.

That Ga. South game was only home game I missed that year. My wife and I were expecting our 1st child any day so we listened to that one on the radio...probably a good thing. 5 days later my 1st son was born so thankfully I never had much time to dwell on that disaster of a game. I hope we can pull the upset over them this weekend and ease the pain just a little bit of that loss 20 years ago.

There is no doubt in my mind that CNB will rebuild the wall at Troy, and then sadly, CNB will be gone to the highest bidder.

If Troy would just go to white helmets, everything would be ok. How about it...? Should we keep the T or go with the U? How about TU...I don't think there is a team in the country with TU on their helmet

If Troy comes out in white helmets then Troy wins. Well our one win was in black helmets so maybe we should wear those true but that was against a 1AA team. White helmets will get a 1A win.

I don't think there would be many empty seats any more if he was the Troy OC.

My biggest disappointment was South Alabama. That was a crucial game. Win it and we have some confidence and momentum for conference play. Lose it and we are the same unpredictable team that can't win The S Alabama loss is exactly why a lot of Troy fans are in a bad shape.....Troy wins that game and I think we could have lost to Miss state by 56 and this thread probably doesn't exist and most Troy fans are probably still very positive/optimistic about this season. I think most Troy fans including myself sold out on the South Alabama game as being the indicator game that if Troy wins then Troy is officially back on the RIGHT track. Troy loses though and as true fans of Troy we are absolutely deflated. As disappointed as I am about the South loss, and Troy's inability to really compete against a top tier SEC school, I am still very confident that Troy is still on the right track. Troy will once again become the little train that CAN...I for one am just going to be a little patient.

Can we put the band directly behind the visiting team's bench?

This is why I just buy GA season tickets for my family and I. I wouldn't let a bunch of inappropriate students ruin my love and support of Troy and keep my family and I from doing something we love to do...Attend Troy football games. My business is not allowing to do every game this year but I did the GA 4 pack and sat in the end zone. Best seats in the house IMO. It was like watching the game from a end zone camera. Fans were friendly and polite. Only thing I didn't like was losing my seats at band day but a small price to pay to expose Troy to future students Most of the upper deck seats on the visiting side are GA seats as well. My family and I are usually sitting in the 1st row or 2 of the upper deck on about the 25 yard line...awesome seats and We've never experienced any inappropriate behavior sitting there...the students are directly below us but were really not paying much attention to them.

Not supporting the inappropriate behavior of some students, but I for one am glad to see the students in attendance in large numbers at the home games. Now, I just hope these same students attending the games now still attend games after they graduate and raise their children to be Troy Trojans.

Good for you and your family. Raising future Trojans. Go Troy ! Yes! My 4 year old son asked me if we could go back Sunday night to the Troy game. He loved it. I forgot to tell you guys that we were offered free Auburn tickets Friday, but we turned them down of course. I would rather pay for tickets to a Troy game any day unless it was Troy playing Auburn! Awesome! If you raise them Troy, even in the state of Alabama, they will bleed Troy. I've got 4 sons that are through and through die hard Troy Trojan fans to show proof.

Loved the enthusiasm of the sidelines through out the game. They were definitely Troys 12th man this past Saturday. My boys favorite part of the game Saturday was the big O/D linemen on the sideline doing the stanky leg dance. It is going to take some time for Troy to get back to being the Troy that won 5 consecutive conference titles, and could play with anyone in the country competitively, but this past Saturday was a great 1st step in the right direction.

If Troy plays with the same emotion during games that they had when they were having practice competitions then they will win more then they lose this year.

This makes me want to vomit. It makes me sick enough seeing the Troy students that are not athletes rooting for other programs never the less a former Troy athlete...that is PATHETIC. ABSOLETELY NO PRIDE!
