It took my wife an hour and a half to get from Ozark to Troy yesterday on 231

There's a call out for those with extra GA tickets to donate them to some of the Florida evacuees who are staying in Troy

For those coming to the game, be prepared to travel early. Already TPD is on 231 due to the large number of vehicles from the Florida evacuation. Northbound lanes from Ozark to Troy have been very congested at times. My wife and I were just detoured from making a left turn on to 231 from Franklin Dr. With an expected large crowd coming from ASU, I would say congestion from both north and south lanes will be much higher than expected. You may also want to double check your room reservations as well

Was Jeremy Rowell calling the offense today? With that said: "Never confuse a single defeat for a final defeat." -F. Scott Fitzgerald
Not exactly a stellar day for many teams in the Sunbelt. Almost a whole season with endless possibilities awaits

I rarely post and I'm disappointed in the outcome as well. But I doubt anyone is as frustrated as our players. Lots of mistakes, to be sure. Recruiting top athletes goes without saying but these guys showed lots of promise and delivered some good wins. We lose some seniors to graduation and I'm sure coach is already beating the bushes for next year's team.

I was at that game. Just like the LSU game years later, I still wanted to blow chow in the stands.

We sit behind the home bench also. Players who aren't dressed out for the game provide the sideline motivation for the others who are playing. They also get up on the benches on third downs and try to get the crowd pumped up as well. I'm fine with it. This makes everyone on the sidelines somehow involved. Far different atmosphere from the past few years.

I think Mr. Ho's geographic description of TROY's previous recruiting area is a bit unfair. I know for a fact it went as far north as Julia's Kitchen.

I was in section 110 behind the players. The loss sucked but that's something we've seen a lot of the past few years. But I saw a lot of improvement as well. The best play of the game? That was when CNB gathered his offense on the sideline after the third pick and umpteenth dropped pass and gave the offense liquid hell for their play. Did we stay until the end of the game? No. We left with about 6 minutes to go.

CUSA?

CUSA gained a lot of available aluminum on game days when they expanded. As far as TV markets go, it really hasn't been that impressive. Being in CUSA couldn't save UAB football either despite an improved season. Of course, everyone knew Blazer football was doomed years ago simply by the composition of their BOT. If anything, I think there might be some hesitancy in the future of adding any program that doesn't have its own independent BOT.

The folks at the bank spreading rumors about Chiz are Probably from the same folks wearing bama gear in the stadium club a couple weeks back Actually, some of them are Hello Kitty season ticket holders.

The scenario that is currently playing out on the field and in the stands at Troy has occurred before. It's not a new phenomenon. Bad years have visited us before. We already know that CLB and company will exit stage right after the season. A number of players will do the same. I'm glad I wasn't present for yesterday's game. I've seen that here before. I will still attend what's left for our home season. I owe Larry that and will appreciate the man for what he once did for our program. I will also watch what will probably be some very bad ball play on our team's behalf and feel confident that it will soon be hopefully a long time before I see that again. It is simply the reality of what we have for right now. That reality will end soon enough and another will occur. So I hope for the best. I'll be in the stands again, wearing Troy gear just like I did in Tuscaloosa yesterday.
Go Trojans!

TIME TO BE DIFFERENT; TO BE BOLD AND MAKE A STATEMENT
OK so, Ho try to start long Europe work trip. He stuck in Newark after Ebola scare at terminal and they shut down airport for like three hour and Ho think he miss plane but he run to wrong gate and his flight three hour delay because someone said they had Ebola or something like that so Ho throw down a cool refreshing alcohol drink and watch game and Ho all of sudden get Tweetering barrage from Jimmy Hardwell and the Drew Champlin about LB retiring. Ho will write something on plane about LB - very sad day (although, we been call for it for a while it still very sad). OK so, Ho not have much time so here his list. OK So, if Hartweld hire ANYONE with any sort of tie to Barn or wear fancy visor, Ho will never attend a game again of any sport. Ho tired of being Barns ugly little sister. And please not another body from Old Mississippi State. OK so, let assume, Mike Turk and Steve Campbell are not available or don't want to play with us which would be disappointing because those two would be Ho's first choice but Ho here Turk happy in Montgomery and Dear Leader not to keen on buying out anyone. OK so, here Ho list: 1. Ed Orgeron: Obviously, he would be a great hire. Might be best recruiter in country and players love him. Ho think TMTDM GREAT fit for him too. Close to his home base and even if his family stayed in Mandeville (kids are finishing High School there), they could make most of his games. He also, may or may not view TMTDM as a stepping stone. He is one of those loyal type guys and might be content. He would also be able to lure Tommie Robinson away from USC as Offensive Coordinator or something (Ho not even know that he there this season). And how many former player are out there coaching in college - a lot. www.usctrojans.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/tommie_robinson_841813.html2. Brick Haley: Forget Frank Wilson, the best coach at LSU is Brick. For you youngins out there Brick recruited and coached Big Al Lucas (look him up) and recruited Demarcus and Osi. He is best recruiter TMTDM has ever had. He defensive line coach for da Bears before he go to LSU to coach same position. He is no nonsense type of guy. Ho run into him at airport a while back and still great person - has fire and passion. 3. Neal Brown/Derrick Ansley: They package. It obvious, Neal Brown offensive genius. TMTDM offense go in toilet since he left. He almost like Bill Bellichik with crazy hoodie sweatshirt on and cut sleeves. I take Derrick as Head Coach too. He recruit like maniac too. Uh oh, Ho got to go. Next stop Stockholm and then Helsinki (don't ask) and then back Saturday morning and then rush to game maybe before halftime. This is going to be disaster week. 4 points to add to your post: 1. Brick would be my choice. 2. If Troy hires the Chiz, expect Bolt to stay in his position. 3. You want Orgeron so y'all can reminisce about the Song Girls. 4. Air France is also Delta, don't make the same mistake I did when flying international. Go Virgin Airlines if you can!
