This fanbase went from it’s going to be an undefeated season to hey, Ga St. is good and we are going to fight and claw out a victory. CNB keeps stating we have all this SEC and NFL talent. We destroy Ga St. 52-10 If we get that result on Saturday, I will personally film an attempted cartwheel on you tube and post the link here

Georgia St is undefeated in conference and put up 600 pls yards of offense vs ULM. They are better than S Alabama and are a program on the rise. It is either a dogfight if we show up ready to play , or the Panthers put a hurting on us up there.

All our opponents have watched the LSU game tape. On paper we still beat Coastal Carolina , Texas St and GA Southern. Idaho is a toss up even though they are 2-4. Georgia St will be a dogfight and Arkansas St has at least equal talent , a long bowl streak and we play them on the road. I'm drinking iced tea here.

Just hypothetically , is there any reason Mike Turk isn't discussed if / when Brown does leave? Has he said he wouldn't come back specifically? I just think he'd be a great fit as HC if for some reason Campbell was already hired elsewhere. Campbell could possibly be in the running at Arkansas for all we know. Bielema is toast.

If we go to a bowl, it won't be in Detroit as there is no Sun Belt tie in. Then again we could go 4-8 then what?

As long as Brown is here he will keep us in the bowl picture anyway. Mike Turk would be intriguing, questions would be could handle the transition to FBS and would he leave a comfortable job even though he is a legend here.

Please, no more bowl games in Mobile. Give us the Cure Bowl in Orlando or the Camellia Bowl. At least we aren't eligible for the Detroit Quick Lane Bowl

Troy also accepted mediocrity for a while also. It allowed coaches to stay who were not doing their jobs. No place I can think of besides Washington DC that also accepted mediocrity. Fortunately that atmosphere is gone now
Remember Jeremy Rowell?

My gut is telling me that Ga State is going to give us all we could ever want on Saturday. I'm not projecting any further than that. We have a fight this Saturday and we could lose but we better go down swinging. I agree. The panthers are much improved and are also looking to go bowling. Looking forward to seeing the game at the old turner field.

Campbell also won a national championship at Delta State. I think he would stay at Troy for the long haul as well

Wonder what Clark could do at Auburn for instance? Malzahn won't make it another season. Troy would be sort of a lateral move for him. Post Brown I have heard Steve Campbell's name come up. Mike Turk is doing a fine job at Huntingdon, but it would be a big jump to the Sun Belt for him.

Akron is in Bowl position. Boise St beat San Diego St. New Mexico St is competitive this year. We laid one egg. Looking forward to going to the Georgia St game and a win there could get us back on track. Arkansas St will be a real hurdle. The rest are winnable if these kids get focused.

My preferred destination is New Orleans. Great location and venue. Cramton Bowl is like a home game but you can't say no to Bourbon St and the Superdome

We have an outside shot. App St has the inside track. At least we should go bowling again

Speaking of ASU how much do we pay them for that game? Worth the money anyway. We get a lot of it back from their travelling fans

It is possible Troy implodes and goes 6-6. I have been watching Troy football since 89. I hope I'm wrong, it's just possible. Georgia State will be tough. The Panthers look like they are turning the corner. Coastal Carolina is a probable W along with Texas St. Georgia Southern hasn't won a game 'nuff said. Idaho is a toss up. Arkansas State at Jonesboro is a tough ask. 7-5 or better we get to a bowl of some sort anyway

GSU has never and probably will never be a critical game. You haven't watched Troy football very long if you think this team goes 6-6. We don't handle pressure well, but we always rebound. The team bashing in this thread is ridiculous, especially considering that Tuesday, everyone was singing praises. We're 4-2 for God's sake. Give CNB and the team a break. Joey Jones is fighting for his job and game planned the crap out of us on Wednesday. Losses happen. Deal with it and look at the big picture. Why didn’t Neal Brown gameplan the crap out of South ?

UAB is 4-2 . Bill Clark is a guy I'd gladly take as our head coach if/when Brown leaves. I wouldn't mind playing them again. It is a good in state rivalry to have. As for the FCS game, I'd try to keep ASU for a W and for local recruiting purposes. ASU brings a good crowd too when they play us at the Vet.

A good team would have beaten us by more than 19-8. We beat ourselves with turnovers and non existent kicking game. USA just got handed the W

This kid was lucky to get that kick through at baton rouge. Let him transfer to faulkner if they'd even want him. Missing these (The HC we don’t speak of) shots is unacceptable

Hopefully we laid our egg last night. Our guys just lacked mental focus, we moved the ball well enough just the stupid fumbles a couple of penalties and the travesty that is the kicking game. Thank goodness we don't have to play Appalachian St this year. It will take max effort to take down Arkansas St on the road, the rest are winnable if Coach Brown can get the team in the right mindset, we have the talent to beat LSU for goodness sake.

By the way we played last night, I say we limp to 6-6 unless the turnovers and kicking game is fixed. I don't know if we go bowling at 6-6 I'd say we need to go at least 7-5. God help us if we need a kick to win a game. Go out and get some kid on campus. How was this Legassy kid rated as a 3 Star kicker?
