Can we win the Conference, since we don't play App State or ULM. Sure we can. If we win out and everybody else loses two, we're a lock. Now WILL we win the conference is another question. It's possible but we have to have help to win it outright. Now a shared title is very much a possibility.

The answer is yes, but in my opinion the only real chance App State has at a loss is today. Need the Vandals to pull off the big home win. If App State can drop one and we win out. Everything can still fall into place with a tie. So the way the Sun Belt treats it is two champs.

I don't think we can. We would have to win out and beat Ark St. I don't see us beating them and this loss to South will kill us. Possibly a tie for the title but not outright

I'm not impressed with App State today. Idaho is dominating...17-0 at the half.
Game is on ESPN3.

As I said ... in Conference play, any given Saturday (or Tuesday, Wed, Thur, Fri) ... any team can win. GA State up couple scores on ULM ... Idaho up 17 at half on App. St.

We go beast mode from here on out. We play "Big Boy" football and run the ball and run up the score.

Can we win the Conference, since we don't play App State or ULM. Sadly schedules around the league don’t favor us doing it. Ap State did what we didn’t do and got the lead out in the second half and won, Their schedule is a peach from here on out. They don’t play us or Ark State so that hurts us as well. I hope I’m wrong but that’s one reason I’m not over last Wednesday yet. That was a HUGE game we lost!

Yep, unless we dig deep and have some kind of epiphany on offense and special teams, it ain' t looking good.

All our opponents have watched the LSU game tape. On paper we still beat Coastal Carolina , Texas St and GA Southern. Idaho is a toss up even though they are 2-4. Georgia St will be a dogfight and Arkansas St has at least equal talent , a long bowl streak and we play them on the road. I'm drinking iced tea here.

If Georgia St. is a dogfight then this team has some major internal issues and CNB would need to do some soul searching on his coaching duties. GA St. Sucks, they are worse than South.

Georgia St is undefeated in conference and put up 600 pls yards of offense vs ULM. They are better than S Alabama and are a program on the rise. It is either a dogfight if we show up ready to play , or the Panthers put a hurting on us up there.

It is either a dogfight if we show up ready to play , or the Panthers put a hurting on us up there. Given our record vs "suck" teams since APP last year, (Ga So and now South) I remain concerned about our readiness and focus going into these games. Agree with this post, if we consider Ga State a suck team, we are in trouble from the bus departure. Panthers will be very up after their win at Monroe. Consider: (Their O looks very good and the D suspect) The Panthers may have set a record for records set in their 47-37 victory at ULM: * Georgia State has won three straight games, all on the road, and now sits at 3-2 overall, and 2-0 in the Sun Belt Conference. * After four straight road games and 51 days away from home, the Panthers will finally return to Georgia State Stadium to host Troy for Homecoming at 2 p.m. on Oct. 21. * The Panthers enjoyed the most profilic offensive day in Georgia State history in the 47-37 win at ULM with a school-record 670 yards of total offense and 47 points, the most ever for GSU against an FBS opponent. * Conner Manning completed 26 of 35 passes for 446 yards, the second-highest single-game total in Georgia State history and the most for any Sun Belt quarterback this season. His four touchdown passes tied the GSU record. * With his third straight 100-yard game, Penny Hart set the Georgia State record with 190 yards receiving and tied his own school record with 11 catches. He caught touchdowns of 50, 25 and 22 yards. * Over the last three games, Hart has 30 receptions for 463 yards and five touchdowns. For the season, he leads the Sun Belt with 8.4 receptions and 111.0 yards per game, top 10 in FBS in both categories. * The Georgia State defense set a school record with seven sacks. * Junior defensive end Marterious Allen collected three sacks to tie the GSU single-game record. He also recovered a fumble. * Michael Shaw had 1.5 sacks in the game. That gives him 22.5 career tackles behind the line of scrimmage, making him Georgia State's career leader. The junior outside linebacker ranks third in GSU history with seven sacks. * Sophomore Devin Gentry had his best day as a Panther with his first two career touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground. First he took a short pass from Conner Manning and turned it into a 69-yard touchdown for the Panthers' longest pass play of the season. Then on a reverse, he took a flip from Taz Bateman and raced around the left end and down the sideline for a 15-yard rushing touchdown. * Sophomore Brandon Wright kicked a career-long 46-yard field goal on the final play of the first half. Wright also hit a 27-yard field goal and nailed a 71-yard punt that was downed at the 8-yard line for the third-longest punt in GSU history. * Georgia State rushed for 224 yards, the fifth-best rushing effort in school history and best since 2012. * Senior Kyler Neal led the Panthers with 65 yards rushing as he topped the 1,000-yard mark for his career. * The Panthers sealed the victory with a fourth-quarter touchdown drive that covered 15 plays and 95 yards while eating up nearly eight minutes on the clock.

Considering we imploded at Boise, had to hang on to win at New Mexico State, had to come from behind to beat Akron at home and got destroyed by a subpar South Alabama team at home I would say the odds are not in our favor no matter how you slice it.

This fanbase went from it’s going to be an undefeated season to hey, Ga St. is good and we are going to fight and claw out a victory.
CNB keeps stating we have all this SEC and NFL talent. We destroy Ga St. 52-10

Facts are facts. Even NB said it " we played great in one game, average in three and horrible in two". Which of these three teams shows up the next six is how we finish
