Why rob CUSA, they have some of our garbage, why not look to top tier FCS schools. CCU is a good start, EKU is coming up. Need to look at some from East TX to NC, to south of Kentucky

Looking at that game from a number stand point, we out hit Samford, however when you walk more (14) then they are getting hits (11), you are going to have some issues. Also, when you have one half of th3e runs being unearned (allowed 10 ER), you're also not going to have the best day. However, they are young and will hopefully get things back on track. In the mean time, Whup Jax St.

We started 7-1, have gone 1-6 since, should we be in panic mode?

We can hit the ball, but as Smartt said Tuesday, we need to get the hits in the same innings and we will be fine. Our pitching especially mid-week is a lot of freshmen, which spells good for us in the long run. We don't need to panic yet, lets do good this weekend and look towards ULL coming into town a week from Friday

Even though we lost 2-1 last night, I am very proud of how we fought and battled and never gave up til the last out. This team may be young but they are gutsy and gritty and I can not wait to see what Conference play has for us

A sweep opening weekend, a win over UAB, and a series win over a tough SELA team that won 42 games last year. Let's keep this Smartt train rolling on with Alabama coming into town Tuesday

Apparently it started by a cheerleader telling the coach to sit a player down now cmon. That coach has to think skin for D-1. I applaud the girl/guy who said that. It just amazes me how the visiting team sets the rules in OUR HOUSE

As i stated earlier, an announcement was at last nights game against ULL saying that if we taunt the opposing team we will be dismissed from the arena. Are we that coddling to the visiting team that we are not allowed to cheer and taunt for missed shots or flops? I find it absurd and disturbing that a VISITING TEAM COACH has the gall to ask us to be nice, when i guarantee you that when we are on the road, fans are way worse than us. I find it insulting that as a fan i may get thrown out for calling a player a cry baby who looks for fouls or who gets his "precious" feeling hurt when we yell air ball.

With 20 losses looking like reality, where is this program at ? I honestly thought 20 wins was possible. What is holding this program back from winning ? I am a results oriented person, AD should demand we make a tournament/win conference next year. I'm okay with having very high standards for next year... I think we all expected more this year but probably should not have based on this being a young team. I have seen a much improved team all season, unfortunately wins and losses are the measure of a team. I know winning will help this, but there is zero interest in hoops here and I don't understand it. I've said this 100 times, if I lived in Auburn or Tuscaloosa, I would have season tickets just because I love D-I sports. Students would rather sit in their dorms and frat houses than go to a free game, even if we were winning more, they would not show up. They come to a game to see Miss. State and Ole Miss, but care nothing about the important conference games. I don't get it?! As for the womens games last night, probably the best womens hoops game I ever watched. Troy responded when they had too. Also, Coach Rigby should note, I have only seen them lose 1 game this year.... I think I should be on the road with them as a good luck charm. Forgot to point out that the "star" for ULL had 0 fouls czlled and their coach got his feeling hurt and an announcment was made that we are not allowed to taunt the other team.... seriously??

I just want to keep college football where the kids love it for the game, not the money.

I'm not mad at athletics for doig this, however I do wish that they would allow for gear and apparel worn by athletes to be allowed to public. Also I'm worried that this stipend doesn't turn into, we want more money so we will not play until our demands are met type deal

Okay #1 I never said I'm better than you but if the shoe fits I'll wear it . #2 along with wins idiot, player development and preparing these kids for life. #3, I do not except mediocrity, however if we all had your thinking we should S*** can a coach after a bad year. You idiot it takes time to build something from nothing and yes you will have speed bumbs. Look at any program that wins and you will see a history of people who jump ship and people who support, a history of wins and losses, one bad season doesn't define a coach being tossed flat on his A**. #4, I'm a student here so it's easier for me to see and actually hear the players during the week. They aren't happy but they know they have to find a way to win and close out games. And last but not least #5, stop being a whining cry baby who lost his toy, grow a pair, be a man, and support your guys no matter what. Have a nice day Go Trojans!

Until either of you are at all home games and watching live, do not talk smack. Leave your all knowing castles and come here and support the team you bad mouth. I am sick and tired of hearing all this whining from a bunch of fair weather fans who are so pathetic they have to hide behind a computer and act like they know it all. I dare you to try and do what Cunningham or any coach here does and then tell me that there job isn't more than winning.

After watching many if the games in person, this isn't a coaching problem, some of our guys wanna be flashy rather than play fundamental basketball. That's the kids attitudes, not coaching

This team is improved. This team is pretty young as we have only 1 Sr. This unit is more physical, physically fit and much more competitive. I loved Coach Maestri and Coach Felix but I have to be very honest here, they did not leave Ol' Phil much - and that is a fact. I think Cunningham gets next year and I even give him the year after right now as long as the team continues to improve. We still lack depth but with a young team and bringing in at least a couple more high school kids that can contribute immediately, I think things are moving and will continue to move in the RIGHT direction. You heard it here first - Sunbelt Champs - 2018 if Cunningham is here. 1 Daniel Peace G 6-1 182 Jr. Decatur, Ga. / Jonesboro HS South Georgia State Daniel Peace 2 Jeremy Hollimon G 6-3 195 Jr. Gulfport, Miss. / Gulfport HS Pearl River CC Jeremy Hollimon 3 Wesley Person G 6-3 180 So.
