As i stated earlier, an announcement was at last nights game against ULL saying that if we taunt the opposing team we will be dismissed from the arena. Are we that coddling to the visiting team that we are not allowed to cheer and taunt for missed shots or flops? I find it absurd and disturbing that a VISITING TEAM COACH has the gall to ask us to be nice, when i guarantee you that when we are on the road, fans are way worse than us. I find it insulting that as a fan i may get thrown out for calling a player a cry baby who looks for fouls or who gets his "precious" feeling hurt when we yell air ball.

Apparently it started by a cheerleader telling the coach to sit a player down now cmon. That coach has to think skin for D-1. I applaud the girl/guy who said that. It just amazes me how the visiting team sets the rules in OUR HOUSE

While that is true anyone that's ever been to a road game at the college level knows to expect a certain amount of heckling and taunting from the opposing fans. You can rest assured the ULL fans aren't that friendly inside of their sporting arenas.

I agree, and I'm okay for a little bit of good natured-ribbing, but for those on here who say would should not bad mouth our student-athletes, why is it ok to do it to others?

I can't speak for everyone here, but me personally I couldn't care less what anyone says about any other Sun Belt school. Or any other school outside of Troy for that matter. I'm a Troy supporter and I see absolutely no benefit to publically tearing down players or coaches that make up Troy athletics. Feel free to sit in the stands at Trojan Arena and yell air ball when a Troy players missing everything or tell them to sit down when they foul out. I'm anxious to see how that works out for you.

This world is becoming too Politically Correct! If we don't change the path we are on as a Nation, the entire complexion of sports, and frankly most anything else, will be a distant memory. As long as vulgar language is not being used, and stuff is not being thrown at players, most anything else should be fair game. I am with Hemi on being around ULL fans, they are extremely passionate about their teams and cut NO-ONE any slack when it comes to dishing it out at their stadiums and arena. It's high time that we throw this PC crap out the window and go back to being true fans for our sporting teams without having to worry about hurting anyone's feelings. The word 'fan' is derived from the word Fanatic, who would have thunk it? Go TROY!
