Even though we lost 2-1 last night, I am very proud of how we fought and battled and never gave up til the last out. This team may be young but they are gutsy and gritty and I can not wait to see what Conference play has for us

Agreed pctrojan....
Wish we could draw the kind of attendance we had last night during the conference season, either that or we need to play baseball in the SEC!!!!
Solid performance against a Top 25 team, proud of our Trojans!
Go TROY!

Good team with a lot of youth and a lot of potential.
We don't need to be losing to UAB 7-0 though against their weak midweek pitcher. This team has a chance to do GREAT things if they can swing the bat better.

This team has a chance to do GREAT things if they can swing the bat better. Pitching, including their mid-week guys, is actually the strength of UAB's team. Their team ERA is 3.74. Not as good as Troy at 1.69 (10th in the nation) but still far above average. But you are absolutely correct, we have got to get the bats going, we appear to have some guys who can hit, they must step up! As good as our pitching is, we only need to hit a little, but we have to hit and hit timely.

We can hit the ball, but as Smartt said Tuesday, we need to get the hits in the same innings and we will be fine. Our pitching especially mid-week is a lot of freshmen, which spells good for us in the long run. We don't need to panic yet, lets do good this weekend and look towards ULL coming into town a week from Friday
