You can keep checking back. I'm only seeing hour1, maybe they will post it later.
Edit: It's now available. Hour 2: Jon Sumrall: 12/10/21
It's up, just listened to it, Paul says he's been to Troy MANY TIMES!! Maybe he has but not in the last 20+ years that I've been a season ticket holder!! 🤔🤔 Good interview, good for our coach to be on national radio...

All for adding new members and making the SBC the strongest in G5, but didn’t we have to jump through a lot of hoops back in the day? Seem to remember a three yr transition with attendance minimums? Does JMU get to skip all that? The transition is in place to help teams 'transitiin' into FBS by getting recruits, monies, etc. As for the other requirements, if you remember, we had to add-on to our stadium to get to 17,500, etc. JMU already has a 25K stadium in place and sell it out routinely because if their success. Hopefully the NCAA will take in those consideration (Sam Houston State is in a very similar situation). With the current landscape of college football right now, I would think the Sun Belt would lobby HARD to get this done. I hope so anyway. BTW, the NEW Sunbelt Conference East Division is going to be a BEAST!!! West will be very competitive as well, but not up to the East....YET

I believe JMU will have to wait one year till 2023 unless the NCAA gives them a waiver. I believe that JMU, Jax St and Sam Houston State are applying for waivers based on the amount of scholarship players they have on their roster currently due to the covid stay and play that came into play last year due to the pandemic. I, personally hope the NCAA gives them the waiver. No reason to wait any longer, us there?

I’m hearing a rumor that is shocking. I’m hearing Edenfield for OC. Oh I HOPE NOT! Saw him at Homecoming (which I found odd in and of itself) and ask him what he was doing there, he said you have to come home for homecoming. Might have been politic'en then, who knows. He is coaching high school in Gulf Shores I believe, he needs to stay there,IMMHO!!

Not sure Vic has a place in D-1 Athletics in this woke environment we currently "work" in. The wokeist forget easily. Vic isn't coming back,he HATED Troy. We don't need help on the defensive side, Jon is a D guru, keep Brandon (and most of that staff) and bring in Reagen to run the offense and build THAT STAFF to new heights. We are SOLID on the defensive side. Now, Jon may have other ideas, but he has worked with all of these guys on D and knows them well. I think he will concentrate on the O side and keep most, if not all, of the D staff.

Chimp has got to be the best I ever heard. Thank u little sportscasting tongue tied person. Two greatest sports commentary and both from this year, "...Let's Go Brandon" AND "...he replaces 'CHIMP' (The HC we don’t speak of) as Head Coach at Troy....".

Get ready to be surprised! You’d probably know better then me… if we do that has to be the highest paid in the sbc ? Probably not, Napier was making 2 million at Louisiana, so THAT STAFF is probably highest paid. Not sure what Jamie Mullet is making at Coastal, but I'm sure it's north of $1 million, so I'm thinking we are in the upper range of coaching staff salary, but probably not #1, with this hire..

Heard he worked hard to get a decent pool for the staff.....wants to be able to pay OC and DC closer to 500k. I think they are currently in the 350k range. This is just one of the reasons for the new program for donors to support the Football program. I’d be very surprised if we pay 350k for both OC and DC. Get ready to be surprised!

He needs to keep AS MUCH of the current D staff as he can. They were, BY FAR, the most improved group on the field! Brandon Hall should remain as the DC. He has those kids playing DEFENSE!!!

Tell me again why the Sun Belt doesn't want Liberty University with their 1.3 BILLION dollar endowment??

Do they wear blue blazers, khakis and leave at halftime? Knock the Greeks if you like, but they bring the spirit and, I would bet, they do more for philanthropy in a year than most students do their entire time at Troy. Maybe more than most will their entire life!

Don’t judge too quickly friends, I believe UAB’s and South’s practice facilities are a bit more sophisticated than a simple wooden hay barn. One hundred yards of field turf covered by a metal pavilion with ample lighting and protection from the sun, rain and lightning, at a fraction of the cost of a “traditional” IPF. Don’t be surprised if Troy chooses to avoid writing a big fat check just to say “ours has walls.” Troy doesn’t have unlimited resources, we have to make wise choices. Just write the check Doug! 😂😂😂😂

Anything is better than the white helmets all the time. White only looks good to me with the stars and stripes logo and the digi camo logo. I LOVE the white helmet with the cardinal "T", especially with the cardinal jerseys and white pants! Just looks much more intimidating than the silver or cardinal helmet. I like the cardinal helmet with the silver (grey) uniform. I also like the black helmet, but NOT A BLACK OUT - NO MORE BLACK OUTS! Maybe white jerseys with black or grey pants and the black helmets although the cardinal helmet looks good with this mix as well. Basically I like pretty much all the helmets and combos but I am not a particular fan of the all-in-on combo, like the cardinal helmet, cardinal jersey and cardinal pants. Not a fan of these. What I am a BIG FAN of is letting the kids decide what they want to wear. They are the ones wearing/playing in them.

So, does the football staff have a say on the uniforms of the team? If so, I wonder if (The HC we don’t speak of) will change the uniforms up a bit. I believe Addias has the say!!!

Sawyer can be developed, esp with (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) being our HC/OC now. He developed both Nick Mullens and Hutson Mason. I think (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) is a top QB coach + he will be supported by Cole Weeks. XCNB might be the better playcaller/offensive mind but (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) seems to be the better (QB) coach. I like Sawyers deep balls - they are deadly. Free seems to be the better passer overall, but he is not quite as mobile as Barker and Smith. But he will compete, he is smart and has the best arm out of the bunch... I think whoever will be the starter next season, will do great things for us. ...and NOBODY talking about Gunner Watson, who, IAW a previous coach, is THE BEST QB of the bunch!!!

One of those coaches is a legend, another a JV high school coach, the other a women’s flag football intermural coach. JR is indeed a living legend. Say all you want, and I was right there with many BEGGING for a change, BUT, he is still coaching at the highest level of college football. So, SOMEBODY (at least one Head Coach) thinks he can coach, just sayin!!!! Does anyone remember who was brought in AFTER JR to be the DC? If THAT doesn't fit under "Interesting Hire" then nothing does!!!

Who would you have preferred to be the OC (btw - in name only as (The HC we don’t speak of) WILL call the plays aka Neal Brown). Â Just curious, who would have made you happy at OC? DC? Special Teams? Oh I dont know...maybe someone with more than 3 years of coaching and who actually had called a play but that's just me. Hope I eat Crowe on this also OK, so one in particular, just NOT the one we got. I was actually looking for a name. Oh well.

Experience is good to have, but let's not discount coaching ability. Knowing how to teach technique to a group of guys from a 4 yr starter and national champ can't be poo poo'd away. Never questioned his ability to coach OL. He seems to be very good at that. I'm questioning his ability to be OC that's all. Who would you have preferred to be the OC (btw - in name only as (The HC we don’t speak of) WILL call the plays aka Neal Brown). Just curious, who would have made you happy at OC? DC? Special Teams?

He could be a good one if he does end up here. If not, we only have one other commit. We signed the guys we needed to sign. We still have several spots open so lets see what (The HC we don’t speak of) can do. That's OK - think we will have a good handle/idea of who we can pick up. Agree with TW, I believe this staff will have some options to explore. This kid was obviously 'teetering' already because he did not signed an NLI during the early period.

Great coaches learn from mistakes and make adjustments and we have a great one. I'd match coach Rigby with any in the SEC. She gets more out of her girls than any of those coaches. She may be the NEXT coach to leave for a better contract.
