Quotable â Troy Head Coach (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of) "It was a tough night for us. It was one of those situations that every time we took a step forward, we took two steps backwards, but we have a great opportunity to learn and get better next week. We need to have a great week of practice and learn from our mistakes."
A step forward? Iâm in Europe right now and even from here I can see this staff is in a drug induced haze with absolutely no grasp on reality. The only way you can lose a game this bad in the conference is to totally not give a ratâs a$$

No one quits their first year as a head coach no matter how bad the year is. No one is going to fire him either because that’s just bad form. That would also mean the university made a mistake, heaven forbid. That will never happen. The coaching staff hint it might be responsible? Yeah. Right. The rest of the season and going into next year will be faulted completely upon injuries, new system glitches and fans over expectations. In my industry, I can fire an employee simply over the way he wears his clothes, and I have. Coaching is a different animal, however. So here’s to the 2020 season motto; We promise to suck less!

I’ve been a fan since 1966. I’ve seen some bad years. This is an embarrassing year where the field product steadily becomes worse, not better

At least I have one more tailgate to look forward to. Iâll still sit in the stands and cheer but my expectations are severely curtailed. Thankfully, Iâll be in Europe when Appy State comes in to curb stomp Coach (The HC we don’t speak of)âs goat rodeo. How long ago last seasonâs bowl game in Mobile seems now. I canât see us anywhere near a bowl game for quite some time to come now

Troy screws the pooch again. 2019 has become a season that will be known as the year of steaming goat crap. This might be worse than what I saw during Charlie Bradshaw’s tenure. I didn’t think Troy would ever be dumb enough to repeat that mistake again, but I stand corrected

I’m at The Jewelers Trade Shop. To be honest I didn’t like the Pelagos. They were sold out of stainless Rolex sport models. I suppose I will now go over to Bere jewelers and give Omega a try. I’m having a carefree day. I might check the score later or maybe not. Good move. I’m rather fond of the Omega Seamaster small face dial I have. But my favorite wristwatch I have is a 1943 Longines curvex

Troy needs to cut the phone lines to both Barn and Gump. That is all.

Forget the Rolex. Get the Omega Seamaster or a Breitling. Superior time mechanisms. Omega waters down their models with too many limited editions and color variants. Breitling gets their movements from Tudor which is owned by Rolex. I’m going to get another watch in 2020 and it will probably be the Tudor Pelagos or a Black Bay 58. I’m a bit old school. I’m a fan of all those movements and I periodically wear an Omega but my favorites are actually Hamilton 992B pocket watches as well as other old rail road approved movements. They go well with a good scotch and cigars on weekends when this fottball season disappoints me.

Oooh you better run and hide if you say anything about The Sound. Iâve been thinking the same as you. I think itâs not their fault. They rarely get an opportunity to put on a full show. Halftime is usually band day or Veterans Day or alumni day. We should honor those groups differently and get the band out there putting on a show. Everything else you said, Iâm too tired. We stink. Itâs on the administration and board now. My season ticket money could be used towards a new watch. (The HC we don’t speak of) has a Rolex, maybe Iâll save up. By the end of his contract, I should have the cheddar to buy one. Forget the Rolex. Get the Omega Seamaster or a Breitling. Superior time mechanisms.

Exactly who was on the search committee that landed this staff? Does the university have an effective required anti drug testing policy for the committee? What’s going on out on the field is some pretty stepped on $h!t.
Just sayin...

Unless I’m missing something, this staff (particularly defenseless staff) looks like a bust. I was under the impression our defense was solid for this season. Have we lost a lot of key players? 2019 looks like a spat up fur ball

After throwing up in my mouth and swallowing my own vomit watching Troy play it’s first games of the season, last night was a massive improvement. I was glad to see for the first time this season Troy show improvement. The defense actually had stops, which it hadn’t before. The defense recovered turnovers including a pick six. The defensive improvement was admittedly, surprising. The offense played well enough to win despite spotting the opposition a touchdown and a field goal from its reoccurring turnovers that still haunt this team. For me sitting in section 110, the two things that stood out was our offensive line play opening holes for our run game and the time our QB had to pass from the pocket. Our players on the sideline looked confident throughout the game. Finally. USA has a buttload of work to do this season, admittedly. But maybe our team is finally becoming what we expected it could be this year

I’m not a fan of firing anyone. I’m very unhappy how this season is falling apart, but firing anyone without actually giving them a legitimate chance is just wrong. I will still go watch my team play and cheer for them even when their field play can at times be confusing and frustrating. If I could survive the Bradshaw years, I can certainly survive this

I’ve watched Troy play for a few decades now. This is worse since the Charlie Bradshaw days. Even the 1983 team put up a better fight. Troy football has become a goat rodeo

Pick Six. Troy is doing some remarkable things out there on the field today. None of them good.

Three touchdowns by Missouri in the first quarter against Troy’s defenseless. I just threw up in my mouth and swallowed my own vomit

Goes to the Troy Police Dept. on the concourse behind Section 110. A young man had stolen a pizza and was running from officers. He ran full speed into an elderly disabled woman knocking her down behind our seats. As he got up to run again, he was body slammed by a TPD officer, cuffed and promptly led away. The officer’s apprehension technique and take down was textbook. Well done, TPD!

97 points given up in the last two games at home. I don’t even want to see the yards allowed.

The Department of Transportation mandates I have to be periodically drug tested, so I can’t drop acid. Guess I’m stuck in reality.

I don’t call out anyone to be fired. But with that said, Troy’s goat rodeo defense can’t stop a fart. I’m glad I’ll be overseas when Appy State comes in to gang rape Troy at home

Shouldn’t availability of draft beer qualify as validation for fan portal use?

For the previous two years we’ve gone through quite a dilemma in getting our season football tickets. Today, much to our surprise, the Troy Athletic Dept. sent three of the athletes to our home to hand deliver our ticket package. Very nicely done, Troy University! If I weren’t computer illiterate, I’d post the photo of the event! See y’all in section 110!

I’ve watched some of these games at Riddle Pace. I thought this team was going to be seriously better than this. It’s early in the season, but all across the board from the dugout to the field, things just look bad.

Kinda bummed about the App State game date. We have reserved seats in 110 up near the concourse but we will be in Europe. 😔
