I don't think Coach Beckles comes back. Do the math, how many offensive coaches do we have? I know that there isn't a rule with how many coaches you need on one side of the ball, but how many schools have an unbalanced number? Yes, Brown has already said is looking for two more defensive coaches.

Slader, Calloway and Peek are interior linemen that will be around the next two to three years. With the coaching from the new DC Troy will have a line that will be able to compete with anyone in the Sunbelt Conference. I like all three and actually thought Peek and Calloway outplayed the starters. Calloway and Peek worked extremely hard and I think there is a great deal of potential with the right coaching and scheme. The future is bright,

Where's the visitors moving to? 103 and 101 would be my guess. That is correct. Section 105 is now available for Family Pack tickets. The ticket office and Steve Stroud have been great to work with in our relocation from 109. BTW, Chair back seats are filling up. If folks are not current season ticket holders and were thinking of looking at the chair back section I would recommend that they don't wait too late to secure their seats for 2015.

Based on Conf USA prior decisions, they will take Ga State because of the ATL market.

Beside that he take no BS from steroid-craze lunatic down at SWLa or anywhere else for that matter. Punch them in mouth and steal recruit back from everyone. FYI: SWLa have four or five player from north Alabama area. You think that ever happen with Brick as Head Coach? Answer: Not ever. If for no other reason, he gets my vote!!!

His buyout package is reported to be $6.5m. That may be just a bit outside our price range.

A 1-8 team overlooking another 1-8 team? Are you serious? Yes. The coaches can't always get them to understand you can't overlook anyone and sometimes even the coaches take it a bit easy. Our team looks like a Thanksgiving turkey tied to a post right now. I would expect most of the GState team thought we were worse than they were. Particularly after last year's game when we were technically better than we are now. Considering how close they played USA and how we didn't, they may have assumed we wouldn't put up much of a fight.

I heard TROY has narrowed the field to 8. I didn't hear any names but that all 8 candidates are currently coaching. Discuss. "Currently Coaching" implies a very broad brush! but would eliminate a number of names that have appeared in various discussions.

I care enough to post here occasionally - get worked up over games or expect wins this season? Nah. Will probably not go to any more games this year. I've never made any secret that it's been a couple of years since I let my season tickets go and started being more selective with the games I travel to. Was hoping/thought the Lafayette game was at noon and was considering being just crazy enough to go to both FSU-UF and CLB's last game in the same day, but it doesn't look possible now and I've already got FSU tickets for that game. Kinda sad seeing CLB getting sent off with a wreck of a season and a likely last-game loss against a competitive ULL team/ This has been a disastrous year in Trojan country football. Due to my "advanced age" my heart just won't stand the constant depression I have felt every game but one this year so I have made some new rules for the Redwaver! 1. Even though my son in law played BB at FSU and my daughter went there (sadly) and the fact they supply me with their game wear, it sits safely in my closet and I will wear my Troy gear EVERY DAY! 2. I can't fix this year and neither can anyone else at this point so I choose to go every TROY home game, enjoy my friends, appreciate our great campus, eat some great good and drink iced tea and endure the game. 3. I will not let the games results affect the fact that I realize that being dead last in D1 we have no way to go but up. 4. I will relish the concept that JH will make a great hire that everybody will not agree with but whom I will have faith will turn things around. 5. I will look forward to a completely new set of AC to tweak or completely change the offense and defense. 6. I will believe that there are players out there that want to come to a great university to play and learn. 7.I will renew my goal that I may get to see a bowl game before my number comes up and I'm called to the sideline in the sky. 8. I will choose to dream that we will design some great looking uniforms with Chrome helmets. 10. I will make every effort to get grads I know, especially former players to support THEIR university and burn the UF, Bama, FSU, and AU garbage. 11. I will encourage the administration to tell every athlete and coach that it is their responsibility to see that their team members support TROY during events or find another job. 12 and finally, I intend to put sports into perspective because I've been in a place when Troy sports results was the least important thing I had to deal with but I WILL thank God for directing me to Troy and giving me the health to continue enjoying each fall, winter and spring sport I can attend but most important, the people that I meet there. Join me? I with you!

What penalty, either monetary or game suspension will U La La hand out to their coaches that were cited by the Sunbelt for their conduct. Surely they wouldn't allow this opportunity pass to demonstrate to their players that everyone is accountable for their own actions, players and coaches alike. Or, will they send the message that winning at all costs is the goal and, thus, no public punishment will be assigned to their coaches? www.sunbeltsports.org/news/2014/10/27/FB_1027144343.aspx

Last time we played USA a number a Trojan fans all parked at the same private parking. Has anyone heard anything for this game There is no public parking at the stadium.
The Alumni Association and TROY Athletics are hosting an event on Thursday night at the Blue Gill restaurant on the Causeway at 5:30 and the Alumni Association will host their usual tailgate starting at 4pm Friday.
Weather should be great. Look forward to seeing everyone on the Gulf Coast.

If we take care of business with the remainder of our Sunbelt schedule and LaLa can take out Ark State next week then we will be playing LaLa for the conference championship.
