Wow, I never would have expected ULM to score 49! What an epic fail.

Blakeney's Cajuns ..... The Cajuns could only hope for a coach as respected and accomplished as Blakeney. Well at the Harvard of the south, any challenge to their reality really sets them into a 'roid rage. Things like the truth that if Troy wins out we will be Sunbelt Champions. I wonder if 2+2= 4 in Cajun country? Of course that may be higher math for the folks at LaLa. I wonder what the color of the sky is in their world?

Trojan Nation, Coach Larry Blakeney and your Trojan football team earned a key road win last night, beating Western Kentucky University 32-26 in dramatic fashion! The offense took care of business and the Trojan defense came up BIG with a 4th down stop near the end of the game to seal the victory. If you missed the action, be sure to check the post-game wrap-up and stats on TroyTrojans.com. And while you’re at it, TAKE A LOOK AT THE VIDEO of the locker room celebration as Coach Blakeney leads the team in the fight song. To say the least, last night was a special time for our team and Trojan Nation in Bowling Green, KY. With this win, our football team improves to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Sun Belt play while keeping our Championship and post-season goals very much within reach. BUT THERE IS MORE TO COME! This Thursday evening we have the special opportunity to see our Trojans #BeatULM and become BOWL ELIGIBLE for the first time since 2010. Kick-off in Veterans Memorial Stadium is set for 6:30pm and we need Trojan Nation out in full force to help our team continue their pursuit of another Sun Belt Championship and post-season play! This Halloween Night game will feature several unique opportunities for fans, including trick-or-treat opportunities for kids of all ages. This game will also serve as Military Appreciation Night and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night. You can find all the details HERE and within the TROYFootball.October31.pdf (789.73 KB) file for your best admissions opportunities as well as our usual game day information to help you plan your visit to campus. We look forward to greeting you on Thursday night and cheering together as our Trojans continue their march to another Sun Belt Championship and post-season play! Go Trojans!
