Good morning Trojans! Some fellow Eagle fans and myself are throwing around the idea of making the trip out to Troy to catch the game in November. So we're trying to plan for the trip. What kind of advice or recommendations can you guys give us? I can get a corporate discount through my company with Marriott but the closest Marriotts look to be in Mobile. I can make that drive if we really need to, but I was wondering if there might be something a little closer that still wont break the bank. Game day tailgating. If any of you made it out to Southern last year you know its a big thing for us. And for a 3:30 game we'll need to get started early! What are your game day morning traditions (do you have a favorite place to eat breakfast? There used to be a place in Statesboro called Snooky's we used to love to eat breakfast on game days) and where should we park/tailgate and what are some rules and regulations we should be aware of? I know the game is quite some time away, but I like to be well prepared! And I've been looking forward to visiting Troy for a long time. When I played the ncaa football games I played as Troy in dynasty mode (won a couple NCs) and my old band director in high school played for the Sound of the South. He always talked them up big and played their CDs. Anyway, thanks for the info in advance and I look forward to the game! Go Eagles! I am currently in the Sound of the South. The game against your team is our 50th Anniversary Celebration! Let your old band director know! The Alumni Band is performing that day. Have a safe trip to Troy.

According to Student Services, there are just over 4,300 parking spots on campus. So far this semester, they have sold over 4,500 parking decals and expect to sell almost 8,000 in recent weeks. Dean Reeves and other university officials continue to spout that it is a "problem of convenience" for the students. My math skills tell me it's a problem of poor management and an inability to realize that there is, indeed, a problem.

Where can I buy the stadium tunes cds that the SOTS came out with years ago? I had them on my computer, but my computer just crashed. Contact the band office at 334-670-3281. They should have a ton of them for recruiting purposes. We just hosted a summer band camp with over 500 high school kids in attendance, so we may be out of them. If you call and can't find what you're looking for, come back here and let me know. I have almost all the SOTS CDs and could make you a copy.

I've got one, but its not for Sale... That's what I figured. Anyone that has one won't want to part with it. I found one at the thrift store near Half Shell in Troy, but the owner said it was only for display.

I've already tried both of those. I'll ask around and see if I can come up with anything. Does it have to be new? No, but I would like one that still looks nice.

Sweet thanks for sharing! What's the show theme? We don't know yet. Probably won't know until band camp in August.

I am looking for a flag with the old TSU logo. Something around 3x5. Does anyone know where I could find one?

Fireworks or the cannon for a touchdown would be sweet!

SRRS is nothing short of AWESOME! It's a great place for us students to get a great meal with large portions and fair prices. My group of friends has been three times already, and we are pleased every time.
You have to try the fried pulled pork appetizer. And no, I am not kidding. It's delicious. It also comes on a sandwich.

I traveled to ULM last year as a member of the pep band. They desperately needed something to help that stadium.

We have recently become an All-Steinway School. For anyone that doesn't know the significance of a Steinway piano, they are the top-of-the-line brand and have led the way in regard to the modern piano. Within the Steinway family, there are three brands: Steinway, Boston, and Essex. The other two brand names are cheaper instruments for those on a tighter budget.
There are approximately 170 All-Steinway Schools in the world today. Of those 170, only 17 are furnished with ONLY Steinway pianos. The John M. Long School of Music announced late January that they have become the 18th school of music to furnish its facilities with ONLY Steinway pianos. As a music student and piano studio member, I am very excited about this growth for Troy University and the School of Music.

Love the idea. However, we should have "cardinal chrome" helmets with silver chrome face masks. It DOES look like WKU helmets.

Is anyone heading to Atlanta on Jan. 10 for the games against GSU? They traveled well to Troy last year (mostly due to their successful program), so I'm hoping to be represented well! I'll be there with some friends from school. Go Trojans!

Reading the article on troytrojans.com, I can't help but notice we will only have five home games next year... This one against CSU and four conference games. I was hoping to hang on to six home games per year.
