Levi Brown was a great quarterback, but does anyone remember how the Trojan offense fared vs Florida in 2009? Not really debating the kid's talent, but it's unlikely he has FBS quality players protecting him.

There is a reason he is at Campbell. Now that does not necessarily make him lacking but I doubt it was because he wanted to major in The Differences between Dromedary and Bacterian camels I prefer Arcturian camels, but that's just me...

That's fair, but I'd argue the team overall isn't very good. We're pretty deep on the front seven, so I'm not sure his D1 QB skills will have much time to shine.

Very happy about the receivers. No seniors in the group. 2020 should be a great year for them.
Concerned about size at defensive tackle and experience in the secondary.
Happy everywhere else.

we need a statue or something for the players to touch when they run onto the field. Don't say that or might end up with: 1) Statue of Hawkins Or Mrs. Hawkins or both 2) Hawkins puts a tarracota warrior there 3) Statue of Famous Amos 4) I shutter to think about this one.....Hemi in a loin cloth No. 4 is a done deal. From what I've heard it will be hand sculpted and will be the artist's greatest creation.

Speaking of QBs. Who is QB2? I really have no idea. Watson? Maybe we'll get a depth chart monday? Curious to see who the receivers and d-line will be. I'm assuming the scrimmage Saturday is closed to the public again?

Congrats to Damion. Love seeing Trojans do well. Also makes you think how much we'll miss his experience and talent. Maybe this Reggie Todd guy will make as much noise for us as Damion did.

How many games does Barker play in this year? I say 7 Are you expecting injury or for him to lose the starting job? Bizarre question either way.

Really proud of the upgrades made to the stadium over the last three years. The experience is much better, IMO. 1. Ribbon boards 2. Giant scoreboard near entrance 3. Endzone Facility with second giant scoreboard 4. Brand new colorful turf New Old

Iâve heard itâs totally different in the locker room and not in a good way. I've heard from others that the players would jump in front of a truck for (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of). Who to trust? If it is as bad in the locker room as you say it is, why post that news in public? Benefit of doing this is zero.

Saw a tweet that said he was jumping for joy when WVU offered. Also stated that Vic Koenning had been in touch with the kid for around three years. He could sign with Troy, but I'll be in wait and see mode until February.

Just noticed Starling and Saint have been rated 3*. I figured with the quality offers they had they would rank pretty highly!!! Seems one or two of the “booms” from couple weeks agohaven’t been made public??? Look forward finishing with a very strong class come December! Looking good. The only concern I have is making a mistake a lot of Air Raid guys make: Not signing enough defensive players. 11/ 15 players committed so far are offensive guys, and the defensive guys are all at or near the bottom of the class.

He was a grad student though. It's not like he was getting ready to party it up in freshman year.

To clarify ... Saturday’s scrimmage is closed to media and public; media will have availability to players and coaches following. AM scrimmage/Alumni Meeting PM Fan Day Evening Football Party/Drawdown. 33% of the reasons a fan may want to attend a great day on campus. Simple math. NOT what Trojan Fans got comfortable with the past 4 years. I AM on the record about this. I'm not super upset about it. That said, the scrimmage was the main draw for me, so I'll be home this weekend.

Next scrimmage is closed to the public...does anyone remember the last time this was the case? Me either... I thought there was some kind of fan day at 9:30. Or is that the week after next?

Head Coach, OC and DC speak after scrimmage: www.facebook.com/troyathletics/videos/412899309573695/(The HC we don’t speak of) is starting to sound more like a head coach, more confident. Front seven seems to be in great shape. OC / OL Coach Ryan Pugh seems a little green. OL needs work. CB Terrence Dunlap is "working through academics". Likely means he is not eligible, but I'll wait for an official statement.

Let's see what, if any, baggage he brings down I-85/Pike Road to Troy. Fresh school, fresh start. As far as baggage goes, we don't know why he was in the portal. There is no evidence of Malzhan giving him the boot. Anything beyond that would be an assumption.

Campbell is usually one of the worst FCS teams in the nation. Savannah State / Alcorn State (when we last played them) bad. They were a little bit better last season, enough to not be a complete pushover. They've just lost their all-star 5,000 yard+ QB to the transfer portal (we feel their pain), so I expect they won't give us much trouble. Should be a very light day for the Trojans.
