I can pretty much trace all of this back to one twitter account. But he has been pressed several times for sources and doesn't give anything. The person has been tweeting about WVU for a while but some of the comments have been off the wall in regards to this search.
I am hoping all this is all smoke from a WVU fan that knew it would get a lot of traction with the fan base.
I am still holding onto CNB's comments before the bowl game "You can't believe everything you read on the internet".

At least one of the other years there was a shuttle that went around to the different down town hotels. Hopefully they will do thay again this year.

The Conde Inn and Malaga Inn are both nice quaint historic hotels that are in the walkable area of the team hotel. The Hampton is on the corner of the parade route. I believe it is across the street from the team hotel.

I wasn't planning on making the trip but seeing how this could be setting up i started looking at some logistics to see if it is feasable... We have a long way to go but hopefully it will set up like we are all hoping.

We never should've let up. 20 unanswered points in the second half and all we did was run the ball burning clock. We needed more points and to keep on the gas Thats all we ever gonna do being up on somebody...playing conservative last week almost got us beat and then u repeat the same this week...can never let up against anybody Tell that to the 2008 Troy that was up big on LSU. If we wouldve slowed it down instead of trying to stomp on their throats we wouldve won the game. Coach Brown has noticeably played at a slower pace at certain points in games to a) run the clock and b) give the D a rest. Its a fine balance.

Reminder, McKinley is open today.
Just ran around the square downtown. Great crowd and everyone is wearing cardinal! Another reminder... shuttle buses will be running from the square as well. Might be a good idea to avoid some of the traffic.

McKinley will be open tomorrow and will close once traffic clears after the game. George Wallace will be closed from John M. Long to McKinely starting at 4 (I believe). You must have a pass to get through after 4. I believe McKinley will be open for everyone to drive through, you just need a pass to get in the lots off McKinley.

no pics, but i can confirm that the old banner was on the ground and it appeared that a new banner was being put up. I was unable to read the new banner because it had not been unfurled. I am hoping for TMTDM to be written across board, haha

They are blaming John Williams the most since he was at Troy teaching ROTC.To bad they couldn’t get a south grad on Mobile city council and had to get a former Trojan as a coach lol I saw that Williams was a no vote... I wondered how long it would take for people to start blasting his Troy ties Seriously, I do hate it for them. Good for Troy football, though. They will eventually build a OCS... They will probably have funding within the next 10 years or so. We need to get enough separation from then that an OCS won't make a difference.

I haven't watched all the reports but IIRC that was the only negative one that i remember seeing. All the others he said that we have a chance and everything was going well, to the point that i thought he was getting to high in expections.

I know you probably cant be picky but if you can, spend the few extra bucks to get reserved... apparently the GA tickets are deep down the right field line.

After the victory Troy moves up to #40 in RPI (was #44 before the game). Auburn was at #12 and stayed at #12 after the loss. Great win! South comes in at #56 in RPI. If we take 2 of 3 and win a couple in the tourney an at-large bid should be a given. I say, lets win out and not leave it up to someone to decide if we get in or not! www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1/rpi
