This is a team that lost to a FCS team. Unreal. Guess i am still proud of our team, but now Montgomery seems like a destination.Ugh!

Kentuckys buy out of stoops is something like 18million. He won't be fired. Besides they just need 2 more wins out of Austin Peay, Missouri, Georgia, Louisville and Tennessee to get to 6 wins. So he wouldn't be fired anyway Outside of Austin Peay, I don't think the Wildcats will be favored in any of those games.

USA Today has a list of NCAA coaches salaries. HCNB ranks behind AState and LALA in the Belt. Looking at these salaries, we will never be able to keep a successful coach. $9 million to coach football at Michigan? I shoulda been a PE major.

Gotta say that this is low class for the conference to not send anyone to the game that crowned the conference champ. Isn't this the same commish who ditched the Go Daddy one year to sit at the National Champ game the next day? Sun Belt needs some new blood. Or we need to get out of this conference. Go Troy!

Stinks for us because we will probably have to get a FCS to fill the date or worse go on the road. My bet is NCState never comes to Troy. The reasonings on the link above don't make sense. They moved the Furman game into the weekend they were supposed to travel to play us? I hope the contract does have a termination penalty.

So I fell for it. Begs the question why would one of our own try to convince us the attendance was larger by using pics from MS. State?1st pic is CSU as I can see some of their players, but the second is obviously from another game.

Cool video. Campus does look awesome! The new Alumni Hall looked like it is progressing nicely. How many will that place hold?

Great post Ho. Always love your take on the program. Interestingly, as an alumnus of Memphis (grad degree), I had never heard this story, and pulled out my Tiger's media guide to see. Was not aware that Troy has actually played Memphis 5 times (all before 1942). We lost every one but that 1937 game. Assuming Mr. Busby is no longer with us, but if he is, the University should honor him in some way asap.

Did anyone hear our conference commish state that 'Belt teams need to stop scheduling money games? I see his point, that scheduling more "Charleston Southerns" might get us a better record, but does he really think the CFB playoffs are going to take an undefeated Sun Belt team who hasn't beaten a Power 5 (or two or three)? I am not impressed with this kind of thinking.

Still like the shield helmets better. How are you going to build brand consistency when you change the helmet design every few years? Bama's "numbers", the AU, the Packer's G at UGA... all these have served their respective schools for years. We need to pick an identity and stick with it. My .02

I remember a few years ago when SOTS played Vehicle. Not sure if they still do. SOTS version was quicker than the YouTube one posted above.

Doesn't the Power 5 contain the SEC and Big XII? I know we have one victory over MS State and one over Mizzou and OK State.

They've done Atlanta in the past. Why not Orlando? Wouldn't hurt to ask.

Agree. Good crowd and atmosphere last night. My 1st TROY baseball game in years. KSU crowd turned out as it was Greek Week but fortunately, our team kept the crowd out of it for the most part. I don't normally get negative on this board (not my style) but to the guy who showed up in the Alabama t-shirt... why? You travel all that way to support Troy and you wear a t-shirt showing support for another school? Don't get your type at all. As always... Go TROY!
