I think they are paying us to come. Don't know how much. That's probably the reason we are going. We need the cash!

I posted this a while back but if anyone is considering going, it might be worthwhile to contact this place.
I got this from a friend of mine who is a Boise State fan. Don't know how many are going to Boise, but if enough of us do maybe we can get together at some place if not here.
...........I was thinking about the fall game between our two schools. FYI quite a few of the visiting teams alumni have rendevoused at the Stone House which is an extension of the Ram Brew House. It sits on the river greenbelt and is about 10 minutes walk from the stadium. I have rented it for my alumni group and was pleased with the service and food. You can reserve it for $1000 I believe which is applied to your food and beverages. I know we provided snacks for everyone but had bar as no host. All this goes toward the $1000 fee. Plenty of room inside the Stonehouse plus great shaded area outside. They put a fence up next to the greenbelt to define your area and keep preps out! Also easy parking access. Regardless the Ram next door is a main gathering hole for all sports fans coming and going to the game. May want to pass on to your Alumni Director to coordinate.............

What a turn-around from just a few years ago. The women's team was barely winning any games and the men's team was in the middle of the pact at best. Now they are both playing for a ticket to the big dance. Congratulations!! now pull off some upsets and make some noise in the NCAA tournament!

It's already been decided. Eventually there will be four major power conferences with two divisions of eight teams each. The first round will be the conference championship (eight teams playing), then the four conference champs will play for the national title as it is today. If those four super conferences have to start a new league to make that happen they will. The power 6 will eventually merge into the power 4.

I don't understand how the $20 per ticket that I already paid is credited. I went to the web page, signed in, ordered four tickets, and it said I owed $180 when I hit the "BUY" button. When is the $20 deducted?

When South Alabama has a game they run a shuttle from a shopping mall to the game. I know that USA has nothing to do with the Bowl, but does anyone know if there will be alternate places to park and pick up a shuttle?

No one said fire Neal Brown, but let's look at the post in context. CKE is our offensive coordinator, but CNB calls the plays. The post in question was in a thread entitled "Tony Franklin for Offensive Coordinator" and read "bring him in and let him run the offense". This was after multiple people had complained specifically about the play calling, which again, is done by CNB. The DIRECT result of hiring CTF to "run the offense" would be to remove the play calling duties from CNB, effectively FIRING him from from those duties. While no one has directly called for the firing of CNB, the hiring of someone else to "run the offense" in effect amounts to a firing. Not a total dismissal, but a removal of duties. Personally, I don't think that's the answer. You need to get a job on one of the major news networks where they listen or read whatever someone is saying and then tell the rest of us what that person really said. LOL

Just got an email to reserve bowl tickets for $20 each. How does this work? (I know I can call ticket office but I'm already on here reading posts) How much am I bound to this exchange? I may want six tickets to the New Orleans bowl but only two to Arizona. Is it just a place holder that I can adjust the numbers later?

It'll all be decided by who gets the most money -- conference, teams, city, bowl committee, and mostly TV. And the money increases proportional to the rankings of the teams involved, how close to New Years, and mostly TV audience

A convincing win against South should get us close to 25.

I am not talking about the 4 playoff teams I am talking about being discussed as even a mention for the New Years 6 Aren't the New Years bowl pretty much back to power 5 conference match-ups? Rose bowl is PAC 12 Vs Big 10 Orange bowl is Big 10 VS SEC or ACC Sugar is SEC vs big 12 Peach bowl and Fiesta bowl are playoff bowls Cotton bowl is the only one that has two at large teams ; they try the get the highest ranked after playoff and affiliations. Notre Dame is eligible for Orange bowl and cotton.

Does anyone know if there is a medical vendor in Troy that has those CPAP devices and will come to your house to set them up.

ASTATE lost three fumbles, had the ball intercepted two times, and turned it over on downs late in the game, but still kept their composure and won the game. Meanwhile they logged 525 yards of offense with all those turnovers. I'd say they're pretty good overcoming all that.

I think CUSA is more interested in the market area rather than the quality of teams. ACC is more established but they are market driven too.
