Sort of reminds me of the IPhone X notch....after awhile you don’t even notice it.....great job AD’s and staff, looking forward to seeing it in person vs. the Tater Tots (Boise).

As disappointing as it was, I would not let one game define a season...Coach C and staff have a great foundation to build on.

Thought some of the "expert" commentators and arm chair HBC's would like an opportunity to show the world your writing ability and football prowess....and get some representation to TU in the media. link

There are many Troy alumni who live 6+ hours from Troy. Many, and I know many, own businesses, work retail or other jobs that require you to work weekends. I am a small business owner that has a business that Saturday is our busiest and most profitable day. I take one weeks vacation a year plus 3 days for a annual mountain bike trip I do. I support and follow Troy athletics but my life doesn't revolve around attending every home and away football game, every home basketball and baseball game and conference tournaments. If you choose to do that, that is wonderful but critizing others who don't or can't is wrong. If attending every Troy game is requirements to be a Troy fan or supporter then you just limited yourself to a 20-50 mile radius, week nights and wekkends off and disposable income and no life. I have college teammates and friends that live as far away as DC, Ohio, South Florida, Kentucky, And Indiana to name a few. They proudly represent Troy University and support it but i guess since they don't attend games they aren't Troy supporters. We need Troy supporters any way we can. Attendance is great and I attend when I can which due to my business is now limited to one football game and a spring reunion and it costs with gas, food, and lodging around $250-$300 each trip and 12 hours of driving. Let's please not put a attendance requirement on being a Troy supporter or else we alienate 80% or more of our Alumni Agreed, sort of tough heading over for a weekend from California....and like others, I still support from afar.

Nice insights..agree with many points you make...I remembered listening to HBC Brown say in an interview awhile back, he wanted to turn the program into the Sunbelts version of Marshall...looks like we are on our way.

DuJaun Harris made it into the Pros and I didn't think he would. Chunn is a good, hard pounding, downhill runner. He can punish linebackers. If he could change directions a little quicker, and just had a little more speed, I think he'd be sought after. I think Chunn could be a free agent at least and be on somebody's roster. Running backs get injured a lot and it's nice to have a Chunn ready to play. Free agency is not as easy for a quarterback. Once a team gets the one they like, they get the linemen to protect him and they tend to not get beat up so they stay longer. I don't think Silvers got a fair shake at the Senior Bowl. I would have let the headliners (Mayfield, et al) play a couple of drives to prove they can operate in a pro style offense and then put in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th guys and let them show what they can do too. I thought that was what the Senior Bowl was all about. I'd try to give all the players a decent amount of playing time and they didn't. Just read this about Silvers..I think it helps to understand his situation... link

Sure it is. We all want our Trojans to do well. But, in your opinion which Trojan should have been invited ? Note: an NFL committee with input from the teams, scouts and services voted on who gets invited. If you get enough votes, you are in. And it obviously can’t be a free for all, nobody wants to spend weeks evaluating every kid that signs up. You are 100% correct on your points, and obviously I had unrealistic expectations of our graduating students...

We gunna B**** today about Trawick not getting enough time geez Seriously. I am sure BT had a blast this week and gets to cash another check. The Senior Bowl is about the practice week. Scouts dont even go to the game. Its why I dont post in the off season. People on here drive me bat$hit crazy sometimes. Goodnight. I get the practice week is the most important, and that all the scouts leave on Friday, and Saturday is really just the "cherry on top" reward for a great week of practice...I get all that and I am good with that. t's the national exposure to BS and more importantly to Troy...The national press missed it, local Alabama boy, goes to college, passes for 10k+, 63%+ pass comp., beats LSU...comes home in front of the hometown crowd...and has two sets in under 5 min of play. Totaly against the whole purpose of the bowl....to showcase talent, and reward for a good week of practice.

A slap in the face to Brandon and local fans - Phil Steele should be ashamed @seniorbowlphil got a tweet full from me, as did Bill O'Brian....The whole point of the Senior Bowl to SHOWCASE seniors....not run up scores and try to break records, totaly disgraceful...Hindsight being 20/20 Brandon should have kept his commitment to the NFLPA game here at the Grandaddy of them all, the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena last week.

Making $250k or even $500k in Troy Alabama is like making $1m in SoCal....I bet he is living very nicely in Troy....Why would you want to trade that for OK?

Lots of California players on Boise's roster, I doubt the heat will be a deciding factor... California does not have the heat in some areas but they DO NOT HAVE THE HUMIDITY. Depends, I live on the coast...have up to 80% in the winter....Summer dries out. The only area without much heat all year long is SFO or the mountain communities...rest of CA is blistering in August, even on the coast.
