Yes sir! Three of us in the front row. Surf Report: Good afternoon, we have overcast conditions. Air temp is 80 water is 83, wind is blowing 7-12mph out of the ESE. The high tide was at 5:56 am and the low tide will be at 8:56 pm. Surf is running thigh to waist with rib high and bigger sets. Donโt forget come by Innerlight downtown tomorrow from 6-9pm to meet Rob Machado and also for a chance to win a new board. Pensacola Kid, just an FYI, this weekend wraps up the Van's US Open here in Huntington Beach, I live about 1 mile from the action on this link, linkCurrent forecast, Short-Term Forecast for North OC: Surf hangs around that waist high range all day long, but look for slight improvements late morning as the tide builds to a 4.8' high at 3:42pm. Those inside sandbars will offer some decent opportunity midday but mind the light+ WSW-W sea-breeze that kicks in through the afternoon.

Potential HC, if the inevitable occurs with CNB.

My prediction is BSU by 10 in a relatively low scoring game. Naturally, thats a homer prediction and can't wait to visit with you. Go Broncos... Picked up my predictions yesterday!!!

We need a noise meter. Something like a sword that if gets loud enough it catches fire or something. I think there was a thread about this a while back. I'm pumped! I just increased my season tickets by 2 seats to allow some folks on the bandwagon. Love it! That would be the University of Southern California (USC)...close enough!

Let's not turn the Vet into Dodger Stadium-South (baseball fans will understand that reference). I absolutely understand this reference, and having season tickets at Chevez Ravine for many years, I dread going to a Friday or Saturday night game....the noise is deafening....completely takes away from the game and socializing with friends.

Big reason was what the city and the university realized many years ago, when Dr. Adams was Chancellor, Dr. Hawkins (Troy Veterinarian), and then Mayor Jimmy Lunsford....all noted, that the city needs the University and the University needed the City....the City of Mobile does not care nor does it need USA...

linkInteresting, concept. Group F results Auburn: Beats TCU and Troy, loses to Boise State. Auburn would totally be one of those soccer teams for whom they had to make anti-collusion rules. Doubly true if Alabama were involved. TCU: Beats Troy and Boise State, loses to Auburn. TCU is the charismatic, tactically unique soccer side that can advance only to lose to a dull 4-4-3 coached by a 70-year-old manager with tax issues in four different countries. Boise State: Beats Auburn, loses to TCU and Troy. Very appropriate of Boise State to lose to Troy, the Boise State of Lower Alabama.
Troy: Beats Boise State, loses to Auburn and TCU. The Trojans are a crab pulling Boise State back into the small-school crab bucket here.
Auburn and TCU advance. Auburn wins group.

Anybody know who Blake Brown is? I saw that, and did not have the heart to send a note to the columnist...since he did not discount our team like 99% of the other journalist in the nation.

I remember that Ben's was on I think Elm, I would take a right on Elm from College, and the restaurant was on a lake just past the back side of the golf course on the left side of Elm heading away from town... You need to find your way back to Troy in the near future. Start off with Gameday in the backyard of the Alumni House then make your rounds!! I am, for the Boise Game, I have had no luck in buying tickets, no one seems to know when single game tickets go on sale, I've called twice....I was wanting to get Press Box or something with AC....The wife is not a Southern Girl, and will not appreciate the 100% humidity and 90+ temp... I will make the rounds, need to check out all the new buildings, and for sure pick up some Merch at the bookstore, assuming its still at the Adams Center. Alumni House....it used to be called Alumni Hall...my dorm room was on the first floor!

I never hear anything about Rooks.....best greasy fake cheese pizza in town! Been closed for years. I also remember the double delight (I think?) back in the day. We use to get chilli dogs there. Other than McDonalds and Hardees, all the restraunts from my day are closed or moved....Rooks, Crowes, Western Sizzler, Double Delight, Trojan Subs?? (was next door to the bookstore by the apartments at the end of university before Brundidge St.) and thankfully the old Stewart Hall Dining lol Thats a shame... I lived on the corner of Park and University, in a building owned at the time by Dr. Hawkins (The Vet)...Rooks was within walking distance....I must have carried that place, seems like I ordered at least 4 times a week....What about Ben's on the Lake....when ever we had a date, that was theeee place to take them!

Regardless of how the final two weeks shake out, I don't see how anyone can say that this season has not been a success. Keep in mind that Troy was 20-34 last year, did not make the tournament (that they hosted), graduated their best player (who accounted for almost all of the offense) and was picked preseason this year to finish 9th out of 10 teams. Yet they currently have a 27-18 record and are virtually tied for 3rd place in the conference. The final two weeks will determine Troy's seeding in the tournament. Hopefully they will finish in the top 4 to get a bye, but it's going to be tough given the schedule. I look forward to seeing if Troy can do some damage in the tournament this year, especially since no one expected them to even be there. YEAH T! ๐๐๐๐๐๐ Donโt let the Negative Nancyโs on this board water down your excitement and enthusiasm for Troy athletics!! DITTO

The Sun Beltโs championship game will be played on Saturday, December 1, and will air on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2. The game will feature the winners of the Sun Beltโs two divisions and will take place at the home site of the divisional champion with the best overall conference winning percentage. link

Not the original but hey maybe it works out like Hemi said. Just prefer the full screen. With basketball prematurely ending and waiting in spring ball got to talk about something. Damn the big screens... We have baseball and softball teams. Both men and women, golf and tennis....too!
