A little disappointed. I don’t see where a win over NT advances our program any. A loss to NT could really hurt. I want to be excited but I’m not, yet.

Don’t forget to add Florida to your list of SEC schools that we could beat this year.

These are probably elementary questions but I’m just wondering how the standings are figured. Everyone keeps saying that Troy controls our own destiny. How does the SB championship work? If we win out then there could be three one loss teams. Would we all share the championship? Would we be ahead of stAte since we would have beat them head to head even though our records could be the same? I know we are in much better shape since App St lost but don’t we still need stAte and App to each lose one more?
Last question. In the standings we moved to #2 ahead of GAST and App but we have the same conference records. How does that work?

I loved the crowd that showed up. I was shocked at the crowd that left. Thank goodness the high school bands stayed or it would have looked even worse. If that game doesn't make fans stick around what will? The fourth quarter wasn't too late. The weather felt okay. The game was exciting. There were no other big games to rush home to watch.

I know what you mean. It's hard for me to express how I feel after today. I feel like we are good enough to have played terrible and still been in the game against a pretty good team. It's not like we played our best and just got beat by a better team. We sucked in more ways than one. But we sucked at correctable things. We didn't get beat because Boise was bigger, stronger and faster. We were a couple of plays and one bad call from sucking and still winning.

Never mind about the clearance rack. My daughter said it's a 2t.

A couple of weeks ago there was one real small cheer top on a clearance rack in the book store. It was near the hat display. It was probably not newborn but it was tiny.

Does anyone know when Trojan Talk goes back on the air? I saw a list of Troy network stations but I've heard nothing about the mid-week show.

24? That seems high. Maybe I didn't word it right. Troy's men's and women's teams made the tournament. How many other schools are represented in both? 24 would be more than a third.

Does anyone know how many schools are in both the men's and women's tournaments? There can be many.

It's not about being negative. We can be happy about these playoff wins and still be a little cautious before we start chiseling on the Coach C statue. Wasn't it about this time last week that we blew a 20 pt lead and barely got out with the win against Ark St? I wasn't at that game but listening to the radio I got the idea coach started trying to kill the clock with 8 minutes left and we were close to helpless against the press. If our lead is 20 and expanding, why change what we're doing? That's not my idea of a championship caliber coach. But I can be positive. Maybe he has become a totally different coach since last week. That would be great.

Having a Hooks BBQ sandwich in my hand made me care less about the helmets. That was number 1. And I thought $6 wasn't a bad price for real good stadium food. Keep the BBQ coming.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Saturday night. My whole family was there and we all had a blast. I thought it was a great atmosphere. You can't accuse me of not being able to be pleased. I was happy with the helmets and jerseys we had.

I guess the old class rings that said "Red Wave" just weren't large enough to say "Cardinal Wave"

I'm not a fan of these unies. I think we have the best red in collage football. It's not as milky red as Bama and it's not as purple as Miss St. It's a great red. We need it use it. From a distance these looked like bad knock-off raiders uniforms. The white name lettering with the silver numbers made them look like cheap iron-ons.

As we get exposure to people not familiar with Troy I'm afraid they won't understand why we have a handleless sword on our helmet. I really like our helmets the way they are. I had rather spend every extra dime on getting the north end zone project completed.
