Showing a weather delay on ESPN. Is the rule 45 minutes minimum?

Did they talk about Henderson on TV? Don't betray HIPA, but if there is an official word.

Penalties penalties penalties... Can't be at the game today... Is it us or the gawd awful refs? Several of the penalties today have been offside when trying to time a blitz or jump a snap. Those are easier to swallow than the constant false starts. After all, we know the snap count on offense.

This is embarrassing. Losing to a bad MAC team. What happened to our offense?

This team has the discipline of a drunken sailor on liberty in a Shanghai whorehouse. Not at all what I expected this year from these guys

No mention of that great drive to WIN the game at the end? Good ending. That's the character of this offense. Start off with some spunk, score a few points then go into marsh mellow mode until we find our butts behind then find that "git er done" gear to finish with that spark that hasn't appeared the entire game.and hopefully will be enough. I reminded of someone on welfare when needed work is present needing to be done. Just hang around, look it over, play with it but by all means don't actively get involved unless you find they are taking it away from you then you work your butts off at the last minute trying to keep your status. Our offense has no sense of emergency, domination or purpose. It's just out there.....doing whatever they do to pass time!

Reminds me of the Cardiac Kids from 2013...all the close wins and close losses...To quote Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon, "I'm getting too old for this $#!+!"

It's odd, that feeling came over me as the game progressed and as we were leaving I heard three dear friends and former players and coaches say EXACTLY the same thoughts even though the worded it differently. "No identity" was one comment, "no observable purpose or urgency" was another. Oh well, just our thoughts after a slim win over a BAD team!

Just walked in door at home.....have not seen postgame comments from coach but unless he modifies (not retract) "there is no such thing as an ugly win" I will be terribly disappointed because NOW WE KNOW THERE IS SUCH A THING

The call to give Barker the ball and let him run for a TD was a great one and that's a perfect way to use him at this point. I know there are those who have wanted him to play all the time but I'm going to throw this out there. On the post game radio show Cliff Blackshear asked Deondre Douglas what his mind set was when his number was called on the final TD play. Douglas answered by saying he he didn't really have a mind set because the route he ran wasn't the one the play called for. He wasn't the primary receiver. He said Silvers saw the coverage in a pre snap read and tagged him to run a go route instead of what had been called. THIS is why an experienced senior QB is given the chance to work through issues he may be having. I'm not around the team daily and I don't know know anything about Barker's game smarts, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that as a sophomore that's not a read he makes. Experience is important in any endeavor and tonight, Silvers' experience may well have been the difference in winning and losing.
Fire away.

Here is my take from the stands. You have to give credit to that old fox Terry Bowden. I felt like that dude almost out coached us. We start out with two good drives and we are cruising.... Then Bowden decides to keep the ball away from us. Their time of possession was crazy. Their first drive of the second half was over 6 minutes and ended with us picking it off in the end zone. What can you say about our defense other than they are there when it counts and they bend but do not break. Yeah we had mistakes tonight but we got it done. Silvers is ice cold and Chunn will be playing on Sunday. It wasn't pretty, but I will take it all day.
Oh yeah and props to Kris Weatherspoon. That dude was a thief in the night and got 2 big time interceptions.
