OK so, Mr. Ho make Big Time Executive trip and have stop at DFW - that Dallas-Ft. Worth for you youngins. Mr. Ho run across article in Forth Worth Star while he sip on cool-refreshing alcohol drink in Admirals Club - that Big Time Executive American Airlines Club at airports and they let Mr. Ho in all time. Anywho, article talk about mainly opening at SMU and SMU Alumni have fit for Mack Brown or even that clown Houston McNutt but they have tid-bit about TMTDM and what Coach O say: Quote in college football extra section in paper: www.star-telegram.com/sports/Well, well, well, plot get thickening. Make it happen Jimmy Hartwell!!!! I see no section like that in the link you provided. Is there a direct link to the article itself?

Refresh my memory. Who is Pruitt? Jeremy Pruitt defensive coordinator at Georgia. I also like the thought of a guy with some time spent in the NFL as a coach. Would likely be very organized, disciplined and professional. What are Pruitt's ties to Troy?

IYO, what was the problem then? 1) I think the spread offense adversely effects most defenses. It also exposes any defense without a lot of depth. 2)Talent level declined on the defensive side of the ball when we it seemed our focus shifted to depth on the offensive side. 3) Missed in recruiting followed by the new oversigning rules seemed to really hurt our recruiting. That does fall on any and all the coaches. Troy was really good at oversigning and making those things work for them down the road. Also think that's how we got into the juco dependency that isn't a good thing. Couldn't afford the misses because or reason #1 and #2. 4) Yearly ineligible starters, usually defensive starters, forced a weak point in the defense to even be weaker. 5) Blame lies with coaches and players, always. Rowell, in my opinion is s much better X and O guy than Bolt. Not the greatest, but better than Bolt. I thought hiring a guy that was out of coaching was a huge mistake. Fair enough

Pruitt is most certainly in my top 3 and maybe his ties to Troy will open a door that many think is nailed shut. Refresh my memory. Who is Pruitt?

The point he was making is that he feels, and I agree with him, is that we should have pulled the trigger on Bil Clark last year. Nothing more. Nothing less. Oh I know what his point is or was. I think we can do better than Clark with this hire. Fair enough. Then who?

From all the off field problems they have, they could use him In the current status of Troy's locker room, they would tar and feather ole Ned Flanders. You are probably right. Poor Flanders.

I believe you certainly disagreed when it came to Rowell. You defended Rowell, stating he should not have been fired. Didn't you even say he would be an excellent HC at Troy when CLB was gone ? I knew Rowell wasn't the problem and Bolt wasn't the answer. I've never said anything about Rowell being head coach. IYO, what was the problem then?

Obviously you have issues with the decisions made by John Hartwell. No one on here made any decisions. Your post has nothing to do with the subject matter. Keep trolling little fella The point he was making is that he feels, and I agree with him, is that we should have pulled the trigger on Bil Clark last year. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Loyalty is a great trait. No doubt about it. I would submit that it has also put our beloved football team in its current state. I believe loyalty is what kept LB from making necessary staff changes or waiting too long to make needed staff changes

I believe that Chandra Rigby is the best thing that has ever happened to Troy Women's basketball... I think she will continue to improve our team. Cunningham I don't know much about, but I'm cautiously optimistic about. I am a big Rigby fan as well. I feel we might have a big break through in the next couple of years. I've heard good things about Cunningham but have yet to see the team in person. I am looking forward to seeing them in person on November 14th. I think Wesley Person Jr. will be a really good one.

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about the men's and women's teams this year. If the players that I think will be difference makers pan out, then I see winning records for both teams. What say you?
