Wow, that was a 7-20 team in Division II, last year. Hope Phil has more insight for adjustments or this season could be brutal. It isn't unusual for these types of exhibitions to be too close for comfort. Every once in a while the D 2 team wins. UAB lost theirs. Syracuse lost theirs a few years ago and ended up making the sweet 16. The player rotation isn't set yet and guys that won't play many minutes during the regular season usually get quite a few minutes in these types of games. it really isn't anything to be concerned about yet.

It helps when your next two games are against 1-8 and 0-9. It really does. In terms of pride, I don't think a majority of players on the team have it. When the inmates are running the asylum, team unity and pride cease to exist.

well everyone is entitled to their own opinion....I have mine and you guys have yours. You are absolutely right. Now if they wanted to go with some type of patriotic three for Veterans Day, I'd be all for it. Other than that I think it is hard to get excited about, or introduce, "gimmick" Unis in the midst of a 1-8 season. The players don't deserve it.

These are pretty cool! I respectfully disagree. Those are the ugliest Troy Unis I've ever seen. It's like Adidas said "Hey we got a bunch of material that no one else wants. You guys want them?" I am partial to the black helmets and jerseys, and silver pants from the mid 90s. Those were some sharp Unis.

Barely beating teams in a very weak FCS conference and one win was by 10 over D2 West Alabama At least he wins the games he is supposed to. We haven't had that in a while.

Below is a sure fire way to turn things around in less than 2 years. I provided the blueprint of how to achieve and examples of how to meet said criteria. You wanna win? Here is how you do it.... 1. Hire solid head coach and staff. Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so revenues go up. 2. Improve facilities Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so revenues go up. 3. Bring in recruits that make a difference Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so coach salaries will go up and will be willing to go out and find the players we want/need. 4. Keep John Hartwell Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer, so his salary can increase. 5. Wait until basketba..., or baseba..., or softba...Damn. Just hope things get better. Solution: Get patrons to drink more beer and forget about the problems at hand until they are fixed. You can count on me to do my part Dream!

More heart and desire than DT84 has seen out of our staff in many years. Granted. Still doesn't make him good in Troy in the college game. Doesn't make him bad either

The best thing about O is his passion and energy, something we really need right now. Also a plus is his experience at this level. If we want to be big time then we need to get someone with the same belief and not a wannabe HC or an experimental type hire. if he wins here he will get a better paying gig down the road but we will get a better gig also in exposure, wins, field house, donors, excitement, unity, TEAMWORK, recruits. It al pays dividends sown the road. Don't think he'll come but I would be thrilled if he did.

We haven't seen anyone with star potential since Mo Weathers. It'll be great to see what Persons can do. I saw his uncle and dad play in person. I was at the game in which his uncle became Auburn's all-time leading scorer. If he's half the player his uncle was, we are going to have a great one!

Anyone see the big fight break out in the second half between number 53 and number 18? Wow, this thing is a major dumpster fire. They went at it and 18 threw his helmet at 53 then Tidwell tried to break it up and put a choke hold on 53 before it was all broken up.......disgusting stuff. Saw it. Impressed with Tidwell, he was like "shut up and sit down" when he grabbed his throat. Also did you notice how Silvers would come back to the sideline he would sit down on the bench and nobody was around him. It was weird. At least it looks like Tidwell still gives a d*** That's encouraging.

Give Tidwell a shot......our QB's stink. Plan and simple they just stink. If I remember correctly, Levi was 3rd string before before he got his chance and that turned out well.
