Good point. Jerrell has cheered for Duke for many years on Twitter during games. He hasn't quite proclaimed his love for Duke in the manner that Robinson has for Bama in my opinion. Also, in Jerrell's defense I know he has regularly attended basketball and baseball, as well as football games since leaving Troy. I agree. I do know Clint and know that he supports the baseball program that gave him his opportunity. I don't like athletes cheering for other schools either, but it really makes me mad when they cheer for/support financially another school in the same sport they played. That's a valid point

Are you going to stop supporting Jerrel Jernigan? He openly cheers for Duke basketball on his social media Good question. Inquiring minds want to know.

So just because a guy who played for us happens to be interested in another team as well that somehow makes him ungrateful? I guarantee you he isn't the only one. As long as they chose to suit up for the Trojans, I'm going to support them.

This. I really don't care who he roots for. If it weren't for Troy he wouldn't be on the Nationals opening day roster. For all those that complained about the softball teams in years past being Bama football fans, how Is this any different? You don't see Bama players in the NFL proclaiming their love for Troy baseball. I think it's a slap in the face to the Troy athletic department, but he has the individual right to feel that way. All I care about is that he played for the Trojans. Yeah its a little lame that he's a Bama football fan but I'm going to root for him.

Clint Robinson has made the opening day roster for the Washington Nationals. A great Trojan proves that hard work and tenacity pay off! Congratulations! for a much deserved and overdue opportunity! This. I really don't care who he roots for.

Well......poop
Hopefully ArkyState wins tourney so we can get the NIT bid that would go to UALR (they are NCAA tourney bound regardless)

One W away from 20 going into the SBC tourney. In 3 short seasons, CR has rebuilt the women's program. They've proven that they can beat any team in the league. Now is the time to see if they can advance to the big dance...Congrats to those young ladies. My only concern is that in tourney play, with the style we play, those legs are gonna get heavy playing on consecutive days.

If we can come out of those first 5 games at 2-3 (at worst), I think the rest of the schedule sets up nicely for us to get bowl eligible.

I'm watching more and more of the women's games. I may reach the point of watching them more than the men The men were about 3 players away from having the same type of season...if I were a betting man, I'd put money down on next season. You're right. Way too many injuries

I am surprised we haven't gotten more UAB transfers. Why is that? Are we still pursuing some?

If Will Muschamp doesn't go to Auburn as DC, don't be surprised if they make a run at Clark

Jax State or Samford would be great. Alabama State would draw a great crowd as well

Bad for Us. They get to play a Bowl Game in our back yard. I am relieved that we have a coach now that is energized and aggresive about recruiting. I was thinking of it in the context is I remember how excited I was when we got our first bowl bid

7-5 or 6-6 is the best case scenario and doable if NB gets the offense straightened out and we can can get an average, middle of the pack, Sun Belt defense

I do feel bad for those coaches and players... I think this is a good opportunity to snatch up some talent. It is. I would love to have some of the players and coaches come on down to Troy.

Likely an FCS this late in the game and it would have to be a home game for us. Would love to see us pick up FAMU or AL St. A win and a great crowd... A win-win Those Alabama State games were always fun when I was a student

I'm on board. Interested to see if anybody from the current staff is retained? Anybody have any ideas. Beckles is the only one that comes to my mind.

You need to ask the question " why did the AD stop off in Dallas after the Idaho game" Pretty sure everyone knows what he was doing there. Did the team have a layover there on the way back from Idaho? Otherwise, I don't know.

Muschamp will be the DC at Auburn or some other power 5 school that needs a big improvement on defense. After watching Auburn's D over the last month, Auburn would be insane to not make the guy an offer.
