Urine doesn't go well with cornflakes, sir. Try 2% milk instead. I think it will suit your taste palette a little better. No class! Sir, that response is an embarrassment.
I hope Redwaver doesn't acknowledge your ignorance.
No class and discipline.. Guess it was a given with my shaggy haired, beard-having, non-matching wardrobe, helmet-less warming up, rap music loving self.

I toured Ga. Southern when trying to decide on a college to attend. At the time i was there, Statesboro was about like Brundidge. I have heard things have gotten better, but it is still in the middle of nowhere in southern Georgia. Paulson Stadium is a diamond in the rough in the Sun Belt. They moved dirt and expanded their stadium and built new facilities, and the fan base is excited. For those of you that feel facilities have little or nothing to do with success, please do us all a favor and go play two-hand touch with Sherrill Busby. This ain't 1967 anymore. So as a true Trojan supporter you now feel ok with using sarcasm in allinating everyone who respected Busbys accomplishments for our university or anyone not as young as you. Well, I suspect that might just be an era where some of your more successful and donation prone alumni reside. Go get 'um young man. That's what we need more of at Troy disrespecting our own, heavens knows we don't have enough opponents to antagonize us. I pray we get the facilities we need for two reasons. 1. It might improve recruiting and 2. It will end that as an excuse and make folks find another one. Frankly, I don't know if I have read anyone who said they didn't want that facility. What I read was it just might not solve all the problems.....but we shall wait to see. May be that it's just ONE of our problems. You could have made your point without the Busby and 1967 era reference. Just sayin'! Urine doesn't go well with cornflakes, sir. Try 2% milk instead. I think it will suit your taste palette a little better.

I think it will be a weird, low-scoring game.

As far a being a fan of two teams I couldn't care less. However, if you are one of those that will pay $70 per ticket to a Bama game, but you expect free tickets every time you come to Troy, I won't be putting them in your hands. Don't need fans like that and don't want them. And those type of fans are not allowed to view my television at "Hemi's Tailgate" either.

You are right. They have been even worse than us over the last four years. And I'm sure their fans will travel well. If they bring one more than Ye Ole Random FCS Team then we are out ahead. I have always been partial to the idea of bringing in Bama State, A&M or Jax State. The crowd atmosphere would be awesome.

We have had a pretty good track record in the past with scheduling weaker Power 5 teams that turn out to be national title contenders by the time we play. We caught Miss. St., Tennessee, Ole Miss, Duke, Clemson and others on the up swing. That's just rotten luck. Maybe with UMASS struggling mightily right now (as are we), they won't be loaded for bare by 2016 and '18. We are not at a point currently to knock off the Georgia's. Florida State's and Notre Dame's of the world right now, so why schedule them? I understand fans want a destination trip, so just take a day or two off of work and visit Boston or New York while your in Amherst. The game will be played in November, so take a jacket and enjoy yankeeland.

Chizik has the biggest asset in recruiting on his right hand. I don't care what folks say about Cam, Fairley and the others, someone had to lead the team to the Natty and Chizik did just that. He can go in to any house in the nation, show a recruit that ring, tell him he will have the chance to play immediately at Troy and the kids will line up to come.
Troy needs a splash hire to reignite the passion. Coach O, Chizik or a high profile coordinator (Jeremy Pruitt, Rhett Lashlee, etc) would be just what the doctor ordered.

Best start for Trojan volleyball in the D1 era! These games are fun, even if you only understand about 80% of what's going on like me. 80 percent is a stretch Sitcho...

Another Hartwell hire possibly? Again, I dont keep up as to what dates hires came about. I think Sonny is one of 3 (?) current HC's not hired by John. Edit: forgot baseball, but that's a coach in waiting promoted by Hartwell. LB, Sonny, Bobby Pierce and Matt Terry (AKA the coolest dude walking campus) are the only non-Hartwell HC hires.

If the question was "Where is somewhere to eat AFTER a Troy game," well then to the W-House it is, unless you wanna sit in Ye Ole Chain Hamburger Chain's drive thru for 30 minutes. 30 minute wait in hamburger drive thru AKA as Chad's nap time.

AP, CMS, APA...I jumped from one to another during my time on University Ave. I thought it was AWA, WCW, and NWA ? I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses. It doesn't matter because The Dream always had the pencil and the strap.

I don't know why everyone raves about Sisters. It's not bad, but not that great either. I have never been a fan of Country's BBQ... not just in Troy, but any Country's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The real BBQ is further down 231. Farther/further: wrecking journalism students since 1953. Farther: measurable distance Further: extension of time

The Dream chopped his way throw college at Hook's. I can vouch that the pork that comes from that little green building is far superior than anything else. If it was good enough for the The Dream, then it is more than good enough for you!!!

I heard Barry McKnight bash the city of Troy a couple of years ago on the John and Barry show when Lee Sterling (paramountsports) was coming up for a game from Florida. Lee ask about a good restaurant to eat at while in Troy. Barry paused and sarcastically said Waffle House is about all there is. This was before Chic fil A was there. I can think of several restaurants off the top of my head: Sisters Restaurant, Momma Goldberg's Deli, Santa Fe Cattle Company, and Country's Barbecue to name a few. I also don't like his style of play calling. I prefer someone who doesn't take so long to describe what is happening on the field and someone who actually likes Troy. I think Barry McKnight is a hired hand who really doesn't care if Troy wins or loses. He is an Auburn window licker. Who would you guys like to replace Barry in the future. Longshore finally joined the board!!!

The Dream is interested in being part of this group...as long as gets to hang one "3" per game. You got it dream. Just don't wear the polka dot singlet. Is Bunkhouse Stampede attire appropriate? (boots, jeans with bandana tied around knee and Cleveland Browns t-shirt)
