When Robert Smith was the director there was lots of imagination and different stuff; the themes, the appearance, etc. Now it just some music. They need to watch some of the other bands on you tube and do something entertaining. Now it's just come out in the middle of the 2nd quarter, play a few bars of a few songs and then go back into the stands. Pre game is worse. Try some animation. I quit supporting them after they required vaccinations or you can't play.

we've run that play so many times opposing defenses know what it is and recognize it from the beginning

Did the SOTS change it's introduction to "sit back and enjoy the sound of the town"? It sounded like it yesterday.

I listened to the immediate post game interviews on the radio of the Coastal Coach. He essentially said that he knew what it would take to beat Troy since he had done it the past two years. He was respectful and applauded the players effort. but he basically said that he knew how Troy was going to play and as the game progressed he was right. So, in my opinion, he was cordial but he said he knew our game plan and adjusted to counter it while we were predictable.

I want a leather recliner with a keg cooler on one side and an end table on the other full of snacks and a small grill on the top. Also a beautiful waitress to help with the grill and cooler. Oh, and one more thing --- A remote so I can change the game on the field so that Troy wins all the time.
I'm willing to pay a little extra.

Just one play makes me wonder (I am sure there are others) We were 2nd and goal on our last scoring opportunity and we split two wide to R with Tez being inside. Their safety on him was playing straight up or only slight inside technique (shading inside). Their other safety shades heavy to the L side off our formation approx just over our L guard. There is no way that he can get over without presnap movement to have Tez not hard slant in for TD. This is the part I don’t get. Did Gunnar not see that or is he not allowed to audible because their formation on D could not have stopped that play. There are likely and there are what is given to us that we must take. Plus it was Tez!! Did Guru have a great play called (that went no where) or if they hand u a play to make on a platter we don’t want to take it because Guru/Goobers might work? I saw the same thing and wondered why. Johnson could have counter stepped in either direction and been open on a slant, but an inside slant would have been the most open.

This guy can certainly kick the ball. I sat pretty high last Saturday and it looked like he was lofting it above the stadium. Not much of a chance for a return. BUT, someone needs to coach him to aim for the five (or ten) yard line on his shorter punts. We used to have a punter named Olmstead that was a master at it. Does anyone know whatever happened to him? Did he make it to the NFL or CFL?

My biggest problem with the offense is our lack of adjustments during the game. Example -- Liberty couldn't do much up the middle so they deployed some tight ends, pulled some linemen, and ran around our corners all night.
To me it seems like we didn't make any adjustments to find the weak spots in Liberty's rushing defense. Try a blocking fullback, put two tight ends in, run counter plays, have the backs slide to the side when the hole isn't at the right spot. Do something different. If none of it works, then credit a stalwart defense. But try all the options before you abandon the run.

The pre-game was terrible as well. Why can't we march on the field like almost every other band? We don't need the pelvic thrusts but a drum major would be nice too. AND why aren't the players running through the "T"? Is it too far for the band to walk? So the band stands at one end of the field for seven minutes while we play music over the loudspeakers. Then the players run onto the field at one end while the band runs off the field at the other end.
Come on guys; Get some showmanship! Make the performances fun to watch as well as listen too.
We didn't know how long the other band would take?? Why didn't we ask them? It's our field and our half time show, tell them they have 8 minutes or whatever we want. if we're worried about the other band taking too long either 1) let them play after us or 2) don't let them play at all.

Southern is not a "cupcake". I looked up the stats on all their games last Spring and they had a very balanced offense. About the same yards passing as rushing averaging 400+ yards per game. Their defense was pretty stingy too. It will be a good test. Troy should win but there will always be the unexpected fumble, interception, busted coverage, etc, or even an injury that could quickly change the momentum of the game. How Troy handles the these situations will go a long way to build confidence in your teammates and coaches.

If the health professionals want to improve the procedure they can. 6,000 in a week! I'm sure that info is available to be distributed. All it takes is a phone call to ask what are you doing so that we can do better.

Just checking in. I’m glad there is still so much passion this far into the offseason. Yes sir! About half are passionately half full, the other 50% half empty!! Maybe the glass is just too big.

No he did not say that. I was being farcical due to his past behavior. I don’t doubt he would try blame someone else however because his behavior has been very “tool” like. I read it on the internet so it must be true. Now it's fact-checked by an unreliable source that admits to posting farcical statements. What am I supposed to believe??

I thought we were playing against a bunch of fainting goats. 11 of their players down, mostly on the defensive side of the ball when Troy was running a fast tempo offense. I think our AD should call their AD and ask if they are OK after all those injuries.
They won't get my award for good sportsmanship.

The county USDA office probably has aerial photographs of the entire county. They were mainly concerned with agriculture but there may be some of the city. I have some of my place that go back pretty far.
