Not in the above mentioned case. I simply stated I am looking forward to a cupcake game and some different looks. Wait...Abilene was a cupcake game...oh no. God no. Wait!!!!! That was not a bad dream? Yea what a terrible experience. Saturday should be a high five quota met kinda day.

The backup QB is everyone's favorite player until he plays. You fellas need to take a long toke and calm down. Not in the above mentioned case. I simply stated I am looking forward to a cupcake game and some different looks. Wait...Abilene was a cupcake game...oh no. God no.

Hemi, I'm not sure I understand your anguish here. Where did anyone say they knew more than Neal? Is there any chance you might be assuming they think they do simply because they chose to have a difference of opinion? Neal is an outstanding coach and our players have outstanding POTENTIAL. If fans can't banner around ideas, opinions (done RESPECTFULLY), observations or do a little Sunday morning quarterbacking on sites like this one after a loss as well as a win then the site is worthless! I agree that calling for firings, getting personal in a derogatory way is improper and is pushing the limits of the site intentions but to revisit and re-evaluate games and hear each fans thought on such is the heart and soul of these type places. If some take that as improper use of the site then maybe THEY need to not visit the site. As a former player and coach I realized that that came with the territory. If you accept the accolades that goes with winning and playing well then be prepared to take the RESPECTFUL observations of the points of failure from fans that goes with losing! I agree, some go well beyond reasonable when offering their thoughts and it's usually VERY FEW and it's usually people that never played one snap, shot one shot or fielded one grounder in their lives but you try to ignore those types. I just want to read honest, RESPECTFUL and well thought out analysis when I visit here, both good and bad. I'm not interested in hearing from those that want firings or personalize unending critics of anyone associated with the team or university but they will always be there if only few in numbers. I'm through! Go Trojans! I concur 100%. Hemi and I are buds and I get where he is coming from but to analyze and share opinions is what this place is all about. Its simply discussion most of the time. We all want the same thing. I know for a fact that Neal is a better coach than me but even if we would have squeezed out a W Saturday somehow I would be here with the same opinions. Hell, talking with yall is more fun than the actual game to me. See yall Saturday unless DT is evacuating.

So.... Alabama State... I feel sorry for them. Hell hath no fury more than a pissed off CNB. DT is excited to get some practice in and see some 2nd string guys participate in long drives. I remember yelling half a season from the stands "Put in Levi". These kind of games can cause Ah Ha moments sometimes.

I got a little confused in this thread. Does LB or JR coach at ASU? As of this morning they didn't. Trey Dunbar is a coach there. He was a defensive GA at Troy and an analyst on offense if you need to find a tie to Troy and ASU. Yeeea. Good point. DT does however point how much better off we are sometimes with HCNB over the latter years of the LB era. TB can take positive post and get LB but hurt. They must be dating.

HCNB is the best. In the late LB years the post game excuse interviews were just painful.

Well I have had a broken pinky and if this is true that explains 12's uninspired attitude. That $/&@ hurts! And throwing a football is affected.
IMO he needs a full rest week. Hes our backbone and is not needed to route Bama State.

Good post. I didnt see anyone call for the benching of 12 but I havent read everything. I did however notice BSU mix it up and give their starter asome rest. We did once and our speed guy bust a 13 yard run and we never try him again. Why?
DT will stick with this was a total lack of adjustment until proven otherwise. We got out coached. Vic can only do so much. Brandon might have just been off between the ears. The guy needed a break from the constant 1st and 15's.

I know we are not Bama but tight coverage gave them 0 issues last night. That was a big boy football game. Brandon has thrown into and had success in coverage like we saw yeaterday. Sonething has been off with 12 since Arkansas stAte last year IMO. He has played well and won but still off from the 12 I have watched.

Looking at it in the morning light the O Line penalties are O so clear. We have the talent to route the Belt but we will not do it when we stay 1st and 15 all day. Like Hemi said this can be fixed.
My biggest take away was I was bored. It was a boring game. Yall are right. Wheres Nascar? It was 2 sub par teams playing on ESPNU. Without our Fantastic D its a turn off at halftime game. I am so impressed with Vic and what he has done.
Also, Were the BSU corners better than expected or are our receivers less talented then we expected? Brandon was off all day. We put in Barker and he bust off a 13 yard run and we never try him or any adjustments again? I dont get that.
DT is very frusterated. So, heres to a practice game 9/9. See yall soon.

Not seeing 12 on the sidelines and putting in speed like BSU did was disappointing and makes DT question the staff. They did right and adjusted and won due to it.
Adjustments were made but they were few.

I don't think so. Plus, the coeds get a pass on game gear when they wear pretty dresses. Yes! Pretty = as little cotton as possible. Can be hard to concentrate on football. And, that's ok.

Las Cruces, Boone and Moscow are all higher elevation than Boise. We have plenty of experience playing in altitude.

DT thinks that it will take a big play like the 4th down call at Clemson but we win. Going to be a good on.
