Has anyone purchased one of these from the bookstore? I know someone who went in and the employee said they had no idea what she was talking about... First Impressions on the square has them in stock for $15 The tweet that the Bookstore sent out had a number that you could call to order one. They might not have them available in the store.

Yep! 2 in section 404 As an aside, anyone know what the asterisk by the seat number means? One ticket has it, but the other does not. If you go to the LSU Ticket office website, they have a virtual view tab. You can type in your section and row and get a simulated view. That might be some help.

He did call us Troy State. To be fair though, he coached against us twice I think when we were Troy State. I talk to a lot of old timers, and to them we will always be Troy State. Nothing to be ashamed about being called Troy State. We were that a LOT longer than we've been Troy University. Both were/are great names reminding us of great times! As I stated earlier, he needs to get with the times. If you even have the slightest amount of respect for a program you at least get the name right. I get that he played us when we were Troy State but that was sometime ago. When he watches film on us (which he should've already done at that point) no where near us is the words Troy State.

Plus he called us Troy State, which makes it even worse. Well, I still call the school in Lafayette Oo LaLa so.... Just kidding. It almost seemed as if he realized in the middle of saying what was happening and tried to catch himself. To his credit, he didn't do it again. Old habits are hard to break. Now let's beat the Zips like drum. I couldn't agree more with your last statement. I just find it sad that coaches (regardless of whether they played us when we were Troy State or not) still can't get it right. If you truly respect us as a program, at least get our team name right. Maybe that's just me.

I watched Terry Bowden's press conference from today. Troy was barely mentioned. CTB didn't make an opening speech or at least I didn't see it. The press only asked questions about their Iowa State loss. I'm not saying the Akron team is dismissing us but it feels like their press is. This one: Plus he called us Troy State, which makes it even worse.

There should be no reason to get upset about +- 30k fans. Be happy you were there! Wait until we have 50k or 80k fans and it gets crowded. The Troy game day experience is wonderful. Imagine having a mile walk to your car because the spots any closer are for big time donors. Some schools are like this. Trust me, I was both thrilled with the crowd, and being at the game. I just thought it was interesting that the reporter tweeted that out, and wanted to get the fellow Trojans opinion on it.

It was less than 75% near the end of the game, but was certainly 85 to 90% in the 1st QTR. I would assume they counted total tickets sold and not actual buts in seats. It was one of the best crowds I've ever seen, but there was certainly some room for more people. Upper deck on home side had thin sections. I agree that it was less than 75% near the end of the game. His job is to report the true amount of people at the beginning of the game, not towards the end. It makes us look bad to the people who wouldn't know otherwise. The Tropolitan must just be a joke.

I came across a reporter from the Tropolitan on twitter stating "Troy announces near capacity crowd yet stands are at max 75% full." I know for a fact that the stadium was well over 75% full. I'm hoping to get some responses from the message board faithful regarding this. I was at the game and fully believe the announced attendance number. I find it very sad that representatives of local "news" diminish us like that. It's almost laughable.

No, however, I am not making any claims that I know why or how it was done. To find out how it was done, simply go to TroyTrojans.com. Click sports, and select football. Once you've arrived at the football homepage, click schedule. Once you've reached the schedule screen, you will notice a clickable icon that has the past and future years listed. Click that and select 2018, once you've done that re-click and select 2021.

That's only part of my problem. For us to have to go to a first year FBS Independent team to me is embarrassing. We should have listed some things we wanted out of it, and not just kept our mouth shut and take it. Our AD has very little interest in the best for our athletics, and is only interested in bringing his friends up from Southern Miss which is sad. We need people who truly bleed cardinal and black. So you were present when the deal was negotiated? No, were you?

I have a few questions for you: Besides the addition of Liberty to our schedule, what else has McClain done to make you think he doesn't have Troy in his best interest? What friends has he brought over from Southern Miss? You do realize we're playing at Coastal Carolina next year in their first year of FBS (who has a smaller stadium than Liberty), right? So why aren't you complaining about the game with CCU? You make no sense. I haven't seen many positives coming from him, the only reason why we've been so successful in athletics is due to our student athletes and coaches. 3 people came from Southern Miss, which you probably don't know is where we hired him from. We can't help the CCU situation, it's conference mandated.

I can assure you that he isn't wearing a bama shirt behind a keyboard, nor worshipping a dead bear. I don't doubt that you worked in the athletics department from the things you've said. So far he is one of few that is actually interested in the best for our athletics. Please explain how playing Liberty is bad for our athletics! Also assure us that whatever evil you perceive playing them brings, that we have never played another team who has misbehaved in the eyes of some. This fan is much more concerned about beating Boise State, how we can get our softball team headed in the right direction, can Neil get the Men Of Troy to finish the deal this year, can Coach Cunningham sign who he needs to make last yours ending not a fluke but a trend, can the golf guys finish with a surge in the Regionals, will the new stadium additions improve recruiting and game experiences than I am about who Liberty chose to sign as AD. Now maybe I wouldn't be happy if WE signed him but that's THEIR problem, not ours. I can't imagine asking an Athletic Department to vet every schools AD's, Presidents ow whomever is to be considered unacceptable prior to trying to set up games. Hey, the AD's may not even be there when the game is played so is it still a "tainted" game because he signed the contract? It's great that fans take a serious interest in Troy's moral approach to whatever but I just see it as a bit much to go to the extreme position of eliminating schools based on perceived wrong doings somewhere else and that is MY opinion! ( CAPS= emphasis (the quite type))!😆 The only bad part of playing Liberty is us having to go to them first as I've stated multiple times. We won 10 games last year, and to me that doesn't mean we should lower ourselves on who we sign a home and home with. As we become a better football program, that should encourage us to contact better schools.

Hard too when you got the world's most annoying person hiding behind a Troy user name and questioning the loyalty of real fans.. must be easy to wear that bama shirt behind that key board while worshipping a dead bear I can assure you that he isn't wearing a bama shirt behind a keyboard, nor worshipping a dead bear. Of all the people that we could've agreed to a home and home with, why choose some start up FBS program? We have so many opportunities to ink a deal with Tulane, and Memphis for example. We need to start contacting some of the more prominent Group of 5, and not lower ourself to a Liberty standard. Interesting. If we have a deal with one of those you mentioned, would you feel better? Of course, at least people have heard of them before.

I know what I'm talking about, I was a supporter of this University before you even though about becoming one. Ok, we played Austin Peay and heard no gripes. We play Alabama State and that's no problem. We played that little team from Texas that best us and no problem. We play UMass and no problem so what makes Liberty so negatively special? It's because we go there first? Seriously? In all the concerns/enjoyment this fan has about coaching, recruiting, strategy, game plans, injuries, where we play is irreverent as long as we have 6 games at home each year and the smaller schools reciprocate. What gripes ME is going to these "big" schools year after year and they never return the favor like LSU, Nebraska, Clemson, Georgia, etc.......but I suspect they think US small and unworthy! ITS NO BIG DEAL Of all the people that we could've agreed to a home and home with, why choose some start up FBS program? We have so many opportunities to ink a deal with Tulane, and Memphis for example. We need to start contacting some of the more prominent Group of 5, and not lower ourself to a Liberty standard.

I don't need to see the contract. The only information that's important is we have to go to them first, and then they MAYBE coming to us 3 years later. It's pathetic. Yeah. I didn't think you knew what you were talking about. Relax. All that has happened is we moved the UMass game out and signed a home and home that's very winnable and will count as an FBS win. I know what I'm talking about, I was a supporter of this University before you even though about becoming one.

If we played only teams that didnt have at least one scumbag on staff or on the team, there would be no one for us to play. Let it go Francis, it will be ok. That's only part of my problem. This has nothing to do with Coach Brown. My point is that we scheduled a game with a "Christian" school that has a scumbag AD. So is there an issue with playing "Christian" schools? Or is it the AD you just don't like? I have no issue with us playing Christian schools, my problem is a man like that telling our AD how it's going to happen, and us have no problem with it. In no way should we have to be going to them first, it's laughable.

Just another road game. Likely replacing one out of conference road game on the schedule. So we move UMASS to pick up Liberty? Makes no sense, something is happening behind closed doors. Don't be surprised to see Liberty as the next Sun Belt Conference member.
