As long as Bam is back we have a chance. (The HC we don’t speak of) you better kick you D-Coordinator in gear or this may be the year you and the Mad Hatter are reunited, thatâs just me saying.Them Troy Trojans still have my support. âSeason ticket holder for lifeâ

I like this hire. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what Finley was doing that got him canned? Trying to get an idea of how dramatic a shift in mentality this is going to be. I've heard some things, just wanted to verify. Not much more than the DC

After much consideration, and after talking it over with my family, I have decided to enter the TRANSFER PORTAL as a graduate transfer.

Did i say that or can you not read. DC is an issue but SC was an issue as well. First of all I wasn’t directing anything at you and second of all I can read. I’m just trying to make lite of something that should have been taken care of. But if you still have a problem with what I’m saying we can always have a beer and talk about it.

I didn’t see the strength coach coaching the Defense, unless I missed something. O’ Well, if I was the DC I would have said the same thing. Did i say that or can you not read. It aint happening. They already found their scapegoat in the strength and conditioning coach. He was 100% of the problem. With injuries, stamina, strength, and part of climate yes. DC will be next if year sucks I didn’t see the strength coach coaching the Defense, unless I missed something. O’ Well, if I was the DC I would have said the same thing.

I just heard, coming hot off the press. (The HC we don’t speak of) is checking to see if any Sr. defensive players from the 2017 championship have any eligibility left to play and if not are they willing to at least Coach until he fines a cure for the defensive problem. More to come, well I hope so!

What makes you think we will better at quarterback next year? What gives you full confidence in (The HC we don’t speak of) to right the ship? Leavitt working to (The HC we don’t speak of) (The HC we don’t speak of)? Leavitt needs to be a head coach. Never was a big supporter of KB. The areas that he was weak in as a freshmen never improved. I have confidence that (The HC we don’t speak of) learned from his mistakes this year and the offense at least would have had at least a full year under his system. If he doesn't  address the defensive side at all then that confidence  takes a big hit. Yes Leavitt needs to be a HC somewhere it is still surprising that he hasn't been given another chance. I highly doubt he would come and be a DC here but he is currently only a defense Analyst at FSU. Parts of this I have to scratch my head at, which parts Iâm still trying to decide.

I will say this, if (The HC we don’t speak of) doesnât make a change at DC and he has a season in 2020 like he had this year, his head coaching days will be over before it ever got off the ground. College football has become big business even at Troy and he has to know that. I do believe that with the right DC in place and offense playing as well as it did we have a change to get back to our winning ways, but if there is not a change at DC his head coaching days will be numbered (12 games from what I see). Itâs your move to make (The HC we don’t speak of), that just me saying.

If he isn’t waking up this morning with I’m going to fire that DC on his mind and then doing it, someone needs to check him into a hospital.

As you can tell in my post I donât think the DC has what it takes to have a successful Defense. My first choice was not (The HC we don’t speak of) but I have sat back and given him the benefit of the doubt. The way we got beat last night I have my doubts about him. With all that said I will continue to support those young men that continue to fight each and every week To win for the Trojan Nation. See yâall at the App State game.

Again no consistency on Defense. Just one more game and you can do what you have been wanting to do all year long (The HC we don’t speak of) and thatâs fire him, I got your back. Thatâs just me saying

This is unbelievable. We played a team whose primary weapon is the triple option ground attack. I've been going to TROY FB games for 25 years now. We have NEVER and I repeat NEVER had any success stopping, or really even slowing down, a triple option team. We held that team, a really good football team, BTW, to around 200 yds (I haven't see the final stats, but late in the 4th, they had 153 yds rushing). We gave up 2 passing TD's, one I think was a scheme breakdown, the other was a blown assignment (I have no idea who blew it, but we triple covered the deep guy and single covered the intermediate route). The defense SHUT DOWN the best ground attack in the conference and we can't even acknowledge the improvement that was made? We can't even acknowledge, that even with Jarvis Hayes out with injury and AJ Simon forced to start at DE, we SHUT DOWN the option? We can't even acknowledge the improvement that freshmen starters have made? I'm sure glad you guys don't evaluate me. I'd probably get fired because it took 3 minutes of advanced life support protocol to save somebody rather than 2 and I'd sure get fired for breaking the guys ribs while doing CPR. There was acknowledgment and I gave him credit by stating a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then, but with that said this DC is inconsistent . By the way AJ did a great job at Bandit not DE and them moving Webb to DE helped also. And thats the way I would play it in the next game. I don’t want to take away anything when it comes to the win but the DC is way over his head. By the way there were towels all over the place but he takes his hat off his head and blows his nose on it and places it back on his head?? That’s just me saying

A blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then, we need consistency and he doesn’t supply that. Fire him, that just me saying.

Great post but from 2016 to 2018 we played with less talent and we still was able to win big due to good coaching, leadership and discipline. Yes we have and will be fine on Offense but the Defense has not gained any ground from the first game to now. That’s not a player problem, it’s a coaching problem, so with that said fire the DC and move on. That’s just me saying We may have had a little less talent from 2016 to 2018, but we weren't starting a defense with a bunch of underclassmen either. We had a lot of experienced veterans... Rookard, Cane, Brown, Folsom, etc.
I actually don't think it's a coaching problem neccessarily. Looking at some of these defensive schemes we've been in, we've had good looking sets. Our DB's just aren't getting the job done. They're blowing assignments here and there and are getting fooled on RPO's a lot, and sometimes are just getting flat-out BURNED by faster WR's.
We've got a freshman starting at CB, a freshman starting at FS, a sophomore starting at SPEAR. All of their backups are freshmen too. Our only CB who is a senior... has a freshman backup. We're just too young to be good. These dudes were literally playing high school football a year ago, and are going up against a lot of WR's that have been playing FBS football for a few years against many experienced CB's.
I will continue to stay consistent and I will not waver, fire the DC, hold people accountable and we as a whole will see improvements. That's just me saying, by the way I'm looking forward to homecoming, see you there!!
