T-Roy is the pathway to great achievement. One of our local neurosurgeons spent time as T-Roy. Which one? If you give me a name and years, I can always add more to the story.

Just can't help you much with specifics but memory serves that the AFROTC Jet was a laughing stock at the time but a memorable icon of that era nowadays. That is literally how I feel about it. I thought it was a stupid gimmick, but now I really kind of miss it. It was unique.

Hey, y'all, I'm working on something that'll come out later, but I wondered if anyone had any idea on the specific years that the Touchdown Jet was used at The Vet.
Thanks for any and all help!

And so, with mighty warriors clad in strongest armor, And well prepared to receive the lot dealt by fate, The contest is at hand. And the commander's spirit, raging for revenge, Shall in a Monarch's voice cry, "Havoc!" And let slip the Dogs of War!
In the heart of the Birmingham Bowl battleground, where the clash of the Troy University Trojans and the Duke Blue Devils is set to unfold, a remarkable tale of resilience and unity emerges. The Trojan Warriors, facing the daunting challenge of a coaching exodus, stand steadfast, embodying the indomitable spirit of brotherhood.
As the Trojan wall faces the relentless assault of the Blue Devils, the departure of their esteemed field marshal, Jon Sumrall, may seem like a setback. Yet, it is in times of adversity that the true strength of a united army shines through. The Trojan Warriors, not defined by a single leader, have rallied together, refusing to yield an inch of their fortress.
Interim head coach Greg Gasparato, a warrior in his own right, takes the reins for this crucial battle. While his tenure may be short-lived, his commitment to the Trojan cause is unwavering. Gasparato leads not just as a coach but as a brother-in-arms, ensuring that every Trojan Warrior fights with valor until the last whistle blows.
Amidst the chaos, the absence of newly appointed head coach Gerad Parker on the sidelines today doesn't dampen the Trojan spirit. Instead, it serves as a testament to the strategic vision for the future. Parker, behind the scenes, is tirelessly assembling a cadre of exceptional coaches, fortifying the Trojan ranks for the challenges that lie ahead.
In the midst of this fierce encounter, the Trojan Empire stands tall, fueled by the fiery determination that courses through the veins of each warrior. The recent triumph on early signing day, where the Trojans secured a promising cohort of players, echoes the unwavering belief in the enduring power of the Troy legacy.
This is not just a football game; it's a manifestation of the Trojan spirit, a testament to the unbreakable bond that forges a brotherhood stronger than any individual leader. As the Trojan Warriors face the Blue Devils, let the rallying cry of unity echo through the Birmingham Bowl, igniting the flames of victory and resilience. Today, the Trojan Empire stands united, and together, they shall prevail. Onward, Trojans, for victory is forged in the crucible of shared purpose!

Anyone see a uniform reveal video? Still waiting on it. We're probably going ⚪⚪⚪ or ⚪⚪🔴. Duke is going ⚪⚫⚪.

Yeah, as a guy who specializes in Troy helmets, that was underwhelming.

Can confirm the black decals are glorious on the Icy Whites.
The pants are actually the heather grays from the smoke uniforms, not standard black.

It might not be a Trojan Wall article, but I thought y'all might enjoy this Kimani research.
We are witnessing history with Kimani Vidal.
He started the year at #10 all time with 2,349 yards.
Through six games, he has rushed for 835 yards, putting him at 3,184.
At his current rate, he could be the career rushing leader in two games.
He is only 257 yards behind one of Troy's greatest backs ever, DeWhitt Betterson.
The list of players Kimani Vidal has passed on his pursuit of history reads like a Who's Who of Troy:
Jordan Chunn, Ted Horstead, Shawn Southward, DuJuan Harris, Mike Turk, Joe Jackson, Arrid Gregory, Eddie Coleman, Tony Jackson, Brandon Burks, BJ Smith, Kenny Cattouse, Sullivan Walker, Ron Daniels, DK Billingsley, LeBarron Black, Phillip Jones, Demontray Carter
We're getting into math, so mistakes will happen. Just help me correct them.
Kimani is averaging 139 ypc through 6 games. If he does that over the next 6 games, he will finish with 1,669 yards.
That would give him #1 with 4,018 yards, making him the only 4,000 yard rusher.
Kimani trails only DeWhitt Betterson in multiple 100 yards games.
DeWhitt has 13 100 yards games and Kimani has 10. This mark should fall to him as well this season.

We do still have silver! Check out the highlights video from the K State Predictions thread. That game's uniforms was KILLER. To me it was the most "NFL" looking set we've had. We looked tough...and were, of course. Benneckles, or resident uniform savant, can correct me if I'm wrong. The helmets worn in that game are the ones called Icy White. in person they look like pearl white, with just a touch of silver (just like a high end pearl). They are one of my favorite helmet colors in Troy history. Correct. No Chromes, only Icy White.

It’s a nice clean look. That being said, chrome domes would of been a guaranteed win. Chrome Domes don't exist anymore. We only have Cardinal, black, and Icy White.

I also think the power T was a homerun. The new script looks good for hats but helmets I'm not sold yet The Power T is THE logo! You are correct, I fell in love the moment I saw it. Hey bennekles, who came up with The Power T? The company was Phoenix Design Works and they were in charge of the whole 2004 rebrand. The Power T was always the sword in the Hector logo and also in the lowercase T logo that looked like an upside down sword. From what I have heard, Bobby Pierce was the first to actually put the Power T in place as the logo, so for a long time it was just a baseball thing. Over time, it began to be used more and more until the 2015 set up as the main logo.

1998-03 Marvin the Martian. How bout Marvin on the chrome? I'd be good with trying it, but I think there are two problems. 1) The Chromes don't exist anymore. 2) I'm not sure how well the logo would show up on the Chromes. It could tend to blend too much and make it hard to see the logo.

Are the dates correct for Marvin? I could swear those helmets were in use around 1994/5? The outline of just the helmet was, but the classic TSU Marvin was 99-03.
