Yall! I'm bringing 9. This is our first gameday at Troy-pretty pumped, but i've got some questions- 1. Overnight/camper/rv.....how and where the heck would i go about arranging? I've read that lot 4/trojan arena is where this happens, but i have no idea about getting a pass and cant seem to find info anywhere. Direct message me - I’m not using my RV spot this week in Lot 4. Once you set up In there for a game you’ll end up buying a spot next season!

Defense held. I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances this evening. The left side of our o-line does not appear to have practiced any this week.

They have to protect him better - dude is producing but is getting hammered. Hard to be confident in the pocket if he keeps taking these free shot hits. The back is head cant keep bounce off the turf like this.

When we get Watson time - he can really push the ball down the field. But he does not like having guys around his feet when he throws.

Embarrassing!! Worst offense in years Nothing I have seen so far this season would dispute that! We look clueless.

I really hope (The HC we don’t speak of) jumps down the a$$ of everyone on O at halftime (including his staff). That was painful. With a few exceptions - for the majority of that first half: OLine is not blocking. WRâs are walking. RBâs look slow and indecisive. QB is taking forever to make a decision.

This may be the worst half of offensive football I have seen at troy in 15 years.

You can call me whatever you want - but Iâm not cheering against my team - regardless of my personal feelings about (The HC we don’t speak of). And you obviously have forgotten about the fleetwood years! We overcame that - we will get through this. But you do you. Fleetwood wasn't the head coach. And you can root for them with all your heart next year as they go 5-7, and the year after that when they go 4-8, and then 5-7 again, but then everyone will talk about how the team is improving. I want Troy to win, too. I just want to get back to 10 or more a year. That's why I want a new coach. Go Trojans!

Man - too all you guys that are rooting for us to loose just because you donât like (The HC we don’t speak of) - dam$ - was a terrible way to support your team and your school. I donât know any of you, and I donât post often, and you are probably great people and I never want to speak ill of a fellow Trojan fan (there arenât enough of us) BUT If you want to get rid or (The HC we don’t speak of) then root for him to win 9 games and get an offer to move on⦠root for us to succeed and for all the hard work of the guys wearing the power T to get rewarded. ⦠Donât root for us to fail just to prove you point as to (The HC we don’t speak of) ⦠donât root against these guys that are laying it all on the line with every singe play⦠donât root against the guys that signed on the dotted line to play for your school ⦠your better than what has been posted on this board tonight. Another white knight detected. If we thought he could win nine games in the first place we wouldn't want him gone. Practically no one here - including (The HC we don’t speak of) apologists - believes he is capable of nine wins. Ever. If the blind squirrel stumbles around in the dark and finds enough nuts that some idiot in the admins gives him an extension the next three or four years will not only undo what Neal Brown did, it will undo what Larry Blakeney did! So all of the work of hundreds of players, Demarcus Ware, Osi, Omar, Levi, Kelvin Simmons, Brock Nutter, Orlando Parker, Junior Louissant, Joe Jackson, Rayshun Reed, and many more, will be down the drain. It may be impossible to ever rebuild the wall after that. In short, if anyone actually believed that buffoon could win nine games, we would root for him to stay, not leave. You can call me whatever you want - but Iâm not cheering against my team - regardless of my personal feelings about (The HC we don’t speak of). And you obviously have forgotten about the fleetwood years! We overcame that - we will get through this. But you do you.

Pretty sure I said this after the Georgia state game. How are we not able to run the dang ball. Heard all pre season how our O Line is basically intact because all the guys returning played a lot last year. Throw in the fact we have the best RB room in the history of Troy. I agree with a previous comment. This is not good for our transfer portal. With that said. I had us at 4-3, 4-4 at this point of the season. I’m not shocked, I had us beating Georgia state and losing to Ark State and Southern. There are some good teams left on the schedule and it starts with the Chants this week. Lots of work to be done to see an overall improvement from last season. I miss Schlarman and Moore. Heck I miss Jim Dye. Jim Dye and a JR reference in back-to-back posts- your going ole’ school!

Iâm not a (The HC we don’t speak of) apologist in any form or fashion. But Iâm not sure we can hang all this on him this week. Our starting QB goes down early and we still fight and claw all day long. I donât care who is calling the plays - 4 turnovers will kill any offense/team. I more upset with the inconsistency more than anything else - last weeks game (A win) is more concerning to me than this weeks game. He needs to get some more experience on his staff. If he doesnât I donât think he will be a long term success for us (or here for very long). If we get blown out by Ark State next week I think we are looking at a 6-6 season at best - and we have too much talent to be a 6-6 team. I hope we run the table and he ends up being a great success for us - we will see. But regardless - Go Trojans! Lots of mistakes tonight - but lots of fight in this team.

That makes sense. How do you make the distinction? not sure if you were asking me or Hemi. For me, I remember working out butts off and still having poor results on the field. We worked just as hard the first 3 years as the last two - where we moved to 1-AA & went 10-1, 12-1-1. So for me, it’s focusing on the Athletes & program... not the results. It’s not easy, because I like 10 wins seasons also... but it’s what gets me thru and keeps me cheering. The Lord has a better day planned for the program... I do trust that. I’m not sure if PeeWee is trying to make this point or not - but the biggest change from his first year to his last year was the quality of the Coaching. (And a QB named Kelvin Simmons of course).

Just let them drive right down the field 🙄 Leave the D coordinator in SC.

Say what you want, defense is playing solid right now. No issues with the players. We have talent. Completely agree with that. Playing hard and hitting hard. Scheme is another subject.

Kaleb and the receiving corp are having a great game. Good job guys. Our receivers are playing hard - no doubt about that.

This is rediculous. D looks lost and O has done nothing since the 1st Q. Completely uninspired at this point.

I try not to complain about coaching - because it generally comes down to players making plays - but good grief. What are we doing on D? And what was that at the end of the game? High school coaches are better clock managers than what I just witnessed. We will be lucky to get to 6-6 based on the product we are producing right now.

That song is already WAAAAAAAY overdone and cliche now. Trojan Empire is a much better choice. Or The Legion. Where you at the game Thursday night? Our students went nuts with that song - why not try to seize on that? The "Legion" concept died a quick death a few years ago when the SGA tried to construct and push that. "Trojan Empire" - Has been a phrase used for at least 10 years but has never caught on. I also agree with some of the other posts I have read about the "cry havoc" phrase. We need to work that in more as well.

Don't over think it guys. Need a simple product that's easy to use, easy to understand and easy sell to an at-most moderately informed customer base.
Simple marketing concepts with a simple application that lends itself to social media driven marketing.
Song is already in place which makes it easy - Easy to "plug and play" around the sound (think jump around at wisc) - Easy fold into Trojan warrior themes - army of warriors- The average fan has no idea any of the history of the trojan wars (other than a horse, Helen and hector and what ever else they learned from the Brad Pitt movie)
Just an idea - but we need to have something that capitalizes on the growing buyin from the students. For it to work it needs to be simple, easy to understand and even easier to implement - and above all it needs to lend itself to a hashtag and social media.

I played 89-93... We were 4-6; then 5-5 - Maddox was let go... Blakeney comes & we move up to 1-AA... 5-6 in CLB's first year. Then 10-1; then 12-1-1. These changes take time. I'm not saying we're perfect, nor is it where I'd like it to be; however, where trending in the right direction. The kids are playing their hearts out. That's a huge part of it. That buy-in and coaching will bring the positive changes and improvement that we're all looking for - from team to fans. No trophies yet, but def pats on the back. So - as someone mentioned earlier - what you are saying is that we need to recruit a new version of Kelvin Simmons?
