The vast majority of home-and-home series will have visiting officials and home instant replay.

I'm seeing on Facebook where people are complaining about not knowing when Homecoming is yet. Give them time to arrange everything. Who really knows when the Athletic Department even got the schedule. About 24 hours prior to release.

I just hope we can watch it... any word on tv coverage? Good chance that it will be picked up by ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU if both teams hold serve until then ... However, a decision can come as late as the Monday of game week.

It's funny how math works. Almost Twice as long and almost twice as high doesn't = almost twice the size, it = almost 4 times the size. This sucker is gonna be sweet! Approx sizes: Current - 1,242 sq feet NEZ - 3,080 sq feet

That will change due to TV ... I wouldn't make plans based off that.

He had a medical RS last season for this knee injury... The injury happened too late in the season, he is a true sophomore this season.

Just a question, who manages the stats sheets for each game and post them. I am hoping the coaches are reviewing the film and making corrections. Please don't go left on me, just a question. Stats are kept in the press box during the game with spotters for offense and defense. The NCAA is very clear on what types of stats can be altered after a game, especially on the defensive side of the ball and there are good reasons for this. The NCAA also has specific rules on who is credited with a tackle and how many tackles you can give on a single play, and of course they are left up to individual interpretation. All of this is done live with sometimes the benefit of a replay from the TV broadcast. Long gone are the days when players will be credited with 15-20 tackles on a daily basis and rightfully so. And yes, plays are missed at home and on the road; corrections, if possible, are made after the fact ... for example, Troy received six addition yards of total offense in Saturday's game after a stat correction.

We noticed that last season. I spoke with Adam Prendergast who has done everything possible to get ESPN to fix it, but no such luck. It's something they are doing across all teams using secondary and older logos.

I saw the construction for the first time yesterday. I was somewhat surprised at the size of the building. The pictures we've seen don't really provide an accurate sense of scale. The additional seats are essentially level with the upper deck. This thing is going to be massive and will truly make The Vet an enclosed bowl. The AD said in the video tour that the top of the tallest steel standing at this time will be the BOTTOM of the new video board. Given the size of the board, the top of that thing will be almost, if not, even with the top of the upper deck as it now exists. This is going to be an addition that makes all TROJANS proud. HAVOC!The new scoreboard will be just under twice as big as the existing one.

Well I have had a broken pinky and if this is true that explains 12's uninspired attitude. That $/&@ hurts! And throwing a football is affected. IMO he needs a full rest week. Hes our backbone and is not needed to route Bama State. Is it rumored to be his throwing hand? I'll go ahead and end this right now, that's false.

Possible error? In the CNB write up - right most column at the top it says that Brandon Burks became the 7th player to rush for 1000+ yards. Shouldn't that read Jordan Chunn? Actually, both are wrong. Burks was the eighth player to do it, Chunn would have been ninth. 1) Ted Horstead: 1,123 yards (1984) *shout out for the Elba native there* 2) Eddie Coleman: 1,044 yards (1992) 3) Arrid Gregory: 1,337 yards (1996) *school record* 4) DeWhitt Betterson: 1,161 yards (2003) 5) DeWhitt Betterson: 1,286 yards (2004) 6) DuJuan Harris: 1,077 yards (2008) 7) Shawn Southward: 1,012 yards (2012) 8) Brandon Burks: 1,005 yards (2015) 9) Jordan Chunn: 1,288 yards (2016) Actually, Burks was the seventh PLAYER to do so and Chunn the eighth PLAYER to do so. Betterson topped the 1,000-yard mark twice in his career.

Thank you sports information for responding. So, can we get the 2018 coaching staff up and running then so the pitching coach is listed on the softball page? It is since she was just now announced.

Coach Hupp's information was removed from the staff directory immediately when she left the program. What you saw was the 2017 coaching staff page which we don't remove personnel from for archive purposes.
Please feel to reach out any time with questions, my contact info is available on the website.

Still no depth chart, not a good sign for players or coaches. Meaning there's still a long ways to go before we are ready for 2017. T-Day was Saturday ... not even a full business day yet 😀

For years now, I've been anticipating going to Troy Pro Day. Then, out of the blue, it becomes the talk of the town. And, Oh Yeah, by the way, it was the other day. So, does anyone/anybody know when Pro Day is? March 21
