Don’t be afraid of facts. I'm not. You knew what my point was. Neal has been at 2 places for 11 of those years. There’s a huge difference

Other than Troy, Neal Brown had never been at any one place for more than two seasons... wrong. He was at tech 3 years

If the players buy in. That’s a very pro Sumrall locker room. Hemi: Serious question. Does ANYBODY in that Athletic Department listen to anyone besides themselves? This is like a re-build hire. 10 or 11 wins next season or it's a bust. the southern miss gang

Does it not bother anyone that (The HC we don’t speak of) has been at 7 different jobs in 8 years? Thatâs alarming on the âloyaltyâ aspect Realistically, success or failure, we're going to be looking for another coach in 3 or 4 years anyway. Just so long as he doesn't screw it up while he's here, loyalty doesn't really matter. say itâs (The HC we don’t speak of) and we win 10+ games. Heâs going to get more offers. And probably be at his 9th school

Coaching change for the @faulknerufball Eagles. Shayne Wasden is stepping down as the HC. His brother, Tommy Wasden will take over and be named the new Head Coach. @wsfa12news he’s collecting retirement from the state already

This is what the KU athletics site said about him: "Upon joining Milesâ staff just more than five weeks ago, (The HC we don’t speak of) signed a four-year term sheet with KU, with Kansas Athletics holding an option for the final year of the deal. However, the terms state (The HC we don’t speak of) can leave to become an FBS head coach without being bought out." Doesn't sound like a buyout issue? www2.kusports.com/news/2019/jan/09/ku-football-oc-(The HC we don’t speak of)-(The HC we don’t speak of)-reportedly-candidate-h/ Yes, doesnât make any sense. maybe troy just wanted Jon

you picked non revenue sports (besides baseball). Stupid post So we don't play those sports to win? I apologize. I didn't know the Sun Belt awarded participation trophies in Non-Revenue sports. you want your money Maker’s to succeed. That’s where you put all your resources. Volleyball has never been good btw

Current AD three main hires and their records: Soccer 13-24 Volleyball 22-41 Baseball (Troy Guy) 77-46 This should be worrisome. Take Smart our and the other two are failures. you picked non revenue sports (besides baseball). Stupid post

Don't think he's remotely ready yet. But if he's hired I hope I'm wrong You have been promoting Sumrall as the man who is ready and should get the HC job. But said above (The HC we don’t speak of) Lindsay is not âremotely readyâ. I am trying to reconcile why the thinking one is the best possible candidate and the other is not remotely ready ? BTW, I believe Sumrall is talented and is ready for DC coordinator job. EDIT: Again, just trying to understand why so many believe Sumrall is so ready. Be objective. itâs easy to say stuff like this when youâve been on the outside looking in.

So apparently WVU has set up permanent operations at Troy International Sky Harbor. They are flying from WVU to here, picking up one of their coaches that has probably been using our gear all week and taking them to San Antonio. Then they are flying back to Troy to pick someone else up before flying back to WVU. Somebody count the pens in the supply closet, because lunchbox is stealing us blind. He can give another speech so everyone will pay tribute to him again. He bailed early and took everything but the kitchen sink with him heaven forbid people better their lives. Be happy for people that are getting a chance.

It was said (The HC we don’t speak of) left TROY because his wife hated TROY. I didnât hear it but thatâs been the talk from the moment he left. If thatâs true, is she gonna live somewhere else? I know he got divorced. So maybe old wife?

I hope Troy does a committee like they did after Coach Blakeney retired. It worked out for us. They already said there was going to be no committee this time. I’m sure there’s no committee because this day has been coming for the last 2 years. I’m sure they’ve been prepared.

Sadly though the players who just signed a couple weeks ago can't bail....only coaches can. Wish NB the best but I feel bad for the latest recruits who just signed who will now be stuck with probably zero coaches who recruited them false

Is Sumrall as good a public speaker as Brown? In other words, can he talk the cash out of folks pockets? I think that is a head coach skill that is not often talked about. absolutely
