And I raise a glass of Alka Seltzer to Hemi this blurry morning. He is a class act and a great supporter of the program.. Hartwell and the powers at be will right the ship with due time.

He hasn't done nothing the last 2 seasons. I will say if he screws this up the only AD job he will be able to get is at PLAS. This makes or breaks his tenure at Troy

Thanks. Trying times in the Trojan Nation but the sun came up and I have full confidence in John Hartwell. I think I'll have a beer.

I would not mind seeing Chad Huff of Buddy Stephens get an opportunity. Both of these guys can coach, something we have not seen in a long time. Muschamp may be available after next week.

Is Curley Hallman or Galen Hall still alive? Maybe we could get them on the phone.

Hoping for Herman Boone just so I can hear him say " you will wear a coat and tie, if you don't have one borrow your old mans, if you don't have a old man, go find a bum on the the street and take his because I can guarantee you their isn't a bum on the street that looks worse than what I'm looking at"

Hemi is a Pirates fan, and The Dream loves the Oakland Raiders. We know how to deal with bad teams (It requires a 12 oz. Coca-cola and large bottle of brown water). If anyone needs assistance during this troubling time, feel free to contact us.

From Somethingawful.com
Sun Belt (Not on the hot seat just really old) Larry Blakeney (Troy) - 175-104-1 last 23 seasons; 0-3 in 2014 - When Blakeney took over at what was then still called Troy State in 1991, the program was in Division II; the only coach who's been at their current program longer is Frank Beamer. Blakeney's last three teams have all struggled after the previous five won conference titles, and in interviews he's dropped hints that a lack of improvement this year might be his cue to leave. Losing to Abilene Christian (!!!) makes it all the more likely, I'd wager.

Noteworthy coordinators Eddie Gran (Cincinnati OC) - Was the AHC at Florida State from 2010-2012 and is reportedly a solid recruiter. Gran might not actually go anywhere, but he's interviewed for the FAU and UAB jobs in recent years. Tom Herman (Ohio State OC) - OSU has had statistically impressive offenses lately, and before that Herman led a top-five offense at Rice. Chad Morris (Clemson OC) - Highly paid coordinator at a major program who has already interviewed for jobs in the past. Strong Texas connections, which I understand are pretty much never a bad thing. Pat Narduzzi (Michigan State DC) - Has produced some amazing defenses in the last three years. Was reportedly in the mix for a few jobs last season. Mike Norvell (Arizona State OC) - Norvell has the players to put up big numbers this year and has already been suggested for the SMU job. Kirby Smart (Alabama DC) - Will almost certainly get his name thrown out with every major conference job that comes open. Alabama pays him a ton of money, though, and it feels like if he wanted a head coaching job yet he'd have taken one already.
Guys from lower divisions to replace the up-and-coming mid-major guys Beau Baldwin (Eastern Washington, FCS) - 56-22 last 6 years; 2-1 in 2014 - After you win a national title in FCS, I don't know if there's really anything else you can do at that level, and I don't think Baldwin is one of the lifer types like you seem to get fairly often with successful FCS coaches. Pretty sure Idaho targeted this guy and failed, but that would have been a lateral move anyway. Bob Stitt (Colorado Mines, DII) - 98-60 last 14 years; 1-0 in 2014 - Innovative offensive guy who threw his name in the ring for the Wyoming job last year. Someone please hire this guy.

Baldwin runs a wide open offense and is a winner. Only concern is he is west coast guy and might not come.
