Does anybody have any insider information on how the ticket sales have been for the Duke game so far? Any info on how many Duke has sold? I'm really hoping it will be a great crowd.
Still excited to see the crowd, the new LED boards, and hopefully an upset.

I'm curious as well. MSU in 2012 we were hearing reports of near sellout. UAB game didn't help with people who didn't buy already is my fear,

Hearing it will not be a sellout. How close depends on a lot

I think you will be looking at about 24k Some Locals I have talked with said they were going to sit this one out. It appears there is some concern as to just how Family Friendly the stadium is going to be with beer sales inside. I believe it was even discussed by the AD on T-Tme this week that he has had people raise some of the same concerns to the AD. I guess it is going to be a wait and see on attendance.

I am sorry but that is a weak excuse. I have seen a good number of college football games in stadiums that both sell beer and don't sell beer. There is not a noticeable difference. I am glad JH has the b@lls to go ahead with it. Added revenue. All the people complaining about $$$ should be cheering.

That's a lame excuse. Let's call it like it is. If we have weak turnout it is because we lost by 38 to UAB. That and that alone will be the reason.

Everyone has the right to their opinion. I am curious if all those people are avoiding all establishments that serve alcohol as well? There is a limit of 2 per person and beer sales end at the end of the 3rd quarter. At Santa Fe you can buy it by the pitcher and there is no 3rd quarter cut off.
I think I'll have a beer.

All the world loves a winner. When the Rays started winning in baseball their attendance went way up and everyone claimed to have been there when they were losing

That's two at a time. You could buy more than that throughout the game.

Then again there's a strong possibility that there is no limit on trips to the beer cart! I think I'll have a beer.

That is very petty and I hope I don't see any locals at Ruby Tuesday, Santa Fe, etc. before or after the game eating with unlimited drinking available, and also in their Bama or Auburn gear, unless they graduated from there. Go Trojans. Cheers!

I haven't missed a ball game for most of my life but I am not going until they show me something better. I hope they win. I hope it is the best ball game they have played ever. Honestly though I have better things to do with my time until they show me different. I am a very busy man with two small children. My time spent with them is of upmost importance. If we can't go and it be a positive experience because the game is horrible and the fans are negative (including daddy) - I have better things to do with them. Still sending my money and love but the faithful deserve better than the crap that was on the field Saturday and for most of the past three years.
If I drank at least I would have beer to cheer about! As it stands I have seen nothing for over three years that makes me want to cheer except the Sound and I have their CD. If I didn't stand up in the pulpit each week and deliver the pews would get empty. We have the athletes. Our coaches are not delivering. Plain and simple. They have the ability but until they prove to me they are not "dialing it in" they do not have my attention.

But I am talking about stewardship of the 24 hrs he has given me each day.
I am also talking about a stewardship of a job not getting done.

My wife looked at me Saturday night and said you just missed an afternoon getting upset about something you have no control over. Like a dagger. I will continue to support financially because I want to see the program advanced and the students do well. I am just at a stage in my life if the college game has lost its entertainment value (poor non competitive games) for the family I have better things to do. Because I can't get my time back. The kiddos are only in the house for a little while.
