Just to clarify. I never complained about it taking longer than expected. I have no problem with a completion date in 2018, 2019, or 2020. I complained about the athletic department never explaining WHY things are being delayed again and again and again. Folks, I wrote a check and handed it to Steve Dennis in late 2012 after they made the announcement in May of that year and I have written many checks since then. Here’s the article. www.troymessenger.com/2012/05/30/troy-looks-to-get-north-end-zone-expansion-project-off-the-ground/As a booster, you would think I would at least be in the loop with what’s happening with the project. It's ironic that if I would have spent $25 and sent my bride to Football 101, she would know more about the project than me and I have been contributing to the program for many years. The lack of communication and follow up around this process is just disappointing. Surf Report: The surf has gone away. It’s running shin to knee high. The winds are coming out of the WSW at 2-4 mph causing for some texture but no real surf. Looks like we have some flatness in store for us the next few days.

Kid, I think you have unwittingly discovered the genius behind the lunacy. We've complained for sometime now about the ineffectiveness of the Athletic Department's marketing and fund raising efforts. It seems they've landed on the solution. They hold information hostage in exchange for an additional $25. Genius, I tell you, genius. (now that's sarcasm)

Yep, trying to keep the sheep in the pen. They want y'all lined up and kept in line. God forgive if you ever question the people not getting it done. Yes, Yes, we know you have a basket full of built excuses. Oh well, the old field house can be patched up and work for another decade. Make it happen.

I received a phone call from someone who absolutely does not work at the university, and was told this is the most up-to-date rendering of the facility. It should be completed by August...2084. This whole thread is ridiculous. Awesome design! I am willing to pay for it all, don't worry guys, I can afford it, problem solved!

For whatever the reasons, communication and marketing are two areas that REALLY need looking at at Troy. As good as we are at some things, we are awful at those two.....JMHO! Yep. I have been saying this is a problem at Troy since joining this board, even had some of the blind sunshine pumpers on here say I was crazy for it. Th Admin at Troy including the depts mentioned above are all ran like a backwoods hick town. There have been administrators and staff allowed to stay at their positions that were grossly not qualified for or were absolutely horrible at solely due because they didn't want Susie Q or Johnny T. to lose their jobs. Quote: " If we let them go they cannot get another job in Troy". So they are allowed to stay and perform sub-standard work. This mentality has failed us. And Hawkins has not properly funded needed departments. He has served his time, he needs to go. Troy has gotten stale, unimaginative and is always trying to "catch up" in the late stage of his tenure. So he bears responsibility to. Act small time, you will be small time. Sorry but this is just the truth. The facts bear this out. Communication from Troy with its alumni is just flat out terrible. My high school and it's alumni assocation frankly do more than Troy's does. Sad to say, but maybe withholding funds is the only way to get their attention for change. Does an alumni revolt need to start ? "Alumni revolt, withhold funds"? Yea, that always works! It's tough for you to look for a lot of "love" concerning your opinions on many issues when they are of this nature or anyone who doesn't agree is either a"blind sunshine pumper" or worse and constantly referring to Troy in derogatory terms like "a backwoods hick town", etc., etc.. Always identifying a list of folks you have decided needs firing comes easy for you as well but not so easy for others. Maybe approaching your "truths" with more realistic ideas snd solutions might get you the support your ideas often warrant and you seem to relish. It really is ok for others to think differently as to our problems and solutions than you feel....really! That's one of our Constitutional rights we still have left. I often agree with your points about need of improvements in areas but I don't agree with your need to constantly put fellow Trojans down, including myself, simply because they/we may chose not to agree. Not trying to be a antagonist here and I won't say any more about it but you seem to be upset that someone, whom you have decided is deserving of one of your descriptive adjectives, would dare to see it differently. Just saying! A Sunshine thumper!

Be real and attack head on. Sorry but I don't want to wait another 10 years for stadium improvements in order to spare someone's feeling because they are too inept or unfunctional to provide. Life is too short. We are Troy.
