I was at the game and they are much darker in person and there is a lot of detail on them that you can't see on the picture. Thought they looked great

TWO problems I saw with the uniforms:
1) Did they run them through the screen printing process and forget to dry them or something? The numbers were disappearing (rubbing off) during the FIRST quarter making them hard to read from a distance. At one point I stated that it looked like we had TWO # 18's on the field at the same time, it was # 16 and #18. For the record, I have 20/15 vision :-)
2) It was NOT cool enough to require wearing a long sleeve under the jersey, BUT the equipment managers should have told the guys IF you are going to wear one it should be CARDINAL to match the helmets. Our special teams appearance looked like a pick up game after Sunday lunch - seven brave enough to weather the sixty degrees without a shirt under the jersey, three wearing a cardinal long sleeve, and ONE wearing a white long sleeve complete with it pulled out underneath the jersey (and over the pants).

They look like gray (not silver) longjohns. Oh well. I've never liked the solid color look on uniforms anyway, so these do nothing for me. Amen, why on earth does a player wear long johns under a uniform. It's not like it was 18 degrees. IF you have to wear LJ's gor Pete sake wear black or Cardinal. At least you look like you are not in long johns or PJ's! And what's this with pants above the knee thing. We get enough injuries wearing gear right so wear the pads where they belong. First time this year I saw some heart and determination from our guys in s long time. It was nice to see it again. Also saw Silvers throw two nice passes deep down the inside. Wonder where that's been all year and why we didn't try it more yesterday. He has a better arm than he has shown this year. Maybe he was more confident yesterday. Nevertheless, it was a good sign. I'm trying to understand all these flair passes to the flats but after 15-20 in a game I just shrug.

Nice change from the usual cardinal and white. They have room for potential, but I do enjoy seeing something a little more flashy than the normal unis. Want that chrome helmet with a black/car./black center strip and our logo on each side. Then black jerseys with silver numbers trimmed in Cardinal and black pants with a cardinal and silver sword outlined in white on 1/2 the leg length. Aw yes, a little flash but we need the right recruits to put in them! Ha!

The new uniforms are a nice change of pace. Interesting that silver has not been a part of the uniform scheme for several years now and then BOOM! Ha ha
Better than the all black. Would like to see different combinations used for more contrast - silver top, white pants with cardinal trim, etc.

Jabs messed up the printing lol. The dress issues go to lack of discipline and players doing whatever they want

It is apparent that you all are nitpicking everything. Even in victory, knowing the coaching staff is gone after two more games...still nothing but belly-aching.

well everyone is entitled to their own opinion....I have mine and you guys have yours. You are absolutely right. Now if they wanted to go with some type of patriotic three for Veterans Day, I'd be all for it. Other than that I think it is hard to get excited about, or introduce, "gimmick" Unis in the midst of a 1-8 season. The players don't deserve it. Uniforms were fair to weak. All the different undershirts being worn made us look pee wee league. But what the players and fans didn't deserve was this coaching staff that gave up a while ago.

My point is with the new coach, there has to be a complete turn around in discipline, wins, attitudes etc. That is why I would like to see a completely revamped uniform...a fresh start in a sense. I do realize uniforms have no bearing on wins. Georgia Southern embarrassed with plain Jane uniforms

It's not zero but it's pretty low. No. It has zero impact on the game. Go and take a psychology course up at the University. (100 level will do). The human mind takes what is around it and uses it both negatively and positively in all the actions we perform. What a team wears contributes to their mindset. The mental aspect of football is an important aspect of the game. I agree, it is a small factor but it is not zero.

Incorrect. Don't take my word, go take the course at the university. If the players surroundings are irrelevant why is the current locker room not acceptable. If a group of players said the new unis made they feel like warriors and they felt inspired, would we tell them that is irrelevant ?

Georgia Southern, Alabama and the old Penn State teams missed that course because their uniforms are plain jane, ugly and have no pizzaz. They win in them though
