So if Troy plays South in the championship game is it another Battle for the Belt?

Why have we quit throwing the ball? Ground game isn't working

The last time I saw something like South's football program, I flushed it. Jeez -- Get some manners. No reason to talk like this

For the bubble screen to work those other receivers will have to block

We're getting beat by an FCS team that gives up 44 pts ans almost 500 yards per game

It wouldn't be too hard to put CRYYYYYY (then kickoff) HAVOC on the jumbotron or whatever the students want to yell at kickoff. Cry Havoc would be unique to Troy

Overall this shapes up to what should be a pretty interesting game. Once you get into conference play, every game is a must win game and the chance to show your team on national TV adds to the excitement. However, I think Troy has the edge in too many areas and will probably run away with this game. Prediction Troy 41; Georgia State 17

Let S Jax tate do Jax State... They won't play us without a home and home... And that's against Sun Belt rules, ............Didn't Coastal go to Campbell? Campbell is an FCS school. Must not be much of a rule

Did anyone see the targeting Call on Frye? I didn't see it on the field and the replay didn't show it either.

Just FYI --- Just before travelling I always check that everything is still in order. This morning I checked rental car and rooms. Everything was cheaper so I re-booked all the rentals. Saved about $120. Don't know why everything is cheaper today than it was 3 months ago but it was. Maybe they were planning for a bigger crowd but Nebraska is always sold out anyway. Maybe something else cancelled, I don't know, but for $120 it was worth the time on the computer.
I'll be in Lincoln Friday night. If there are any Husker fans that know some good spots, I would welcome an invitation.

Nebraska's run defense is awesome. Pass defense not so much. Seven sacks and 14 tackles for a loss last weekend against Colorado. Both defensive lines are pretty good. We'll find out this weekend who has the better O-line. If Barker can get his accuracy on long passes we just might pull off the upset

Well he's playing football in the NFL so I'm sure he's happy. You never know, by the end of the season he may be the starting running back

Believe it or not there are some simulations that you can use to improve the system. Getting people through lines "Queuing models" have been used for years now. I know some stadiums have used them along with the Atlanta Olympics in 1995 so they've been around for a long time now and they're pretty accurate.

Sooner or later won't one of them have to take most of the snaps with the first team to get the game plan installed?

They once served some fine spaghetti in the Stadium Club. It looked the same on the plate as it did going in a cup a few seats down from us. Food was beyond disappointing in Stadium Club. By the end of the season we were either eating at Hooks before or had better food at the T-Club Tent I bought tickets when the stadium club first opened. Good seats, had my own liquor locker, the works. I think Barnhills was the caterer but I'm not 100% sure. Food was good and there was plenty of it ;you could basically eat all you wanted. Even made me a fan of Barnhills. Over the years it progressively got worse. They started punching tickets so you couldn't get seconds, they changed caterers and the food got worse, and there was not ever enough tables. Plus there was a crowd that raced to all the tables as soon as it opened and "saved" all the seats and stayed there the whole game. One game I was eating hot dogs (yes that was the meal for that game) while sitting on the floor, with wild kids running all around the area and I told my wife I'd had enough of the stadium club and we'd find some friends to tailgate with. I enjoy pregame much more now!

Any news on the starting quarterback yet. Who going to replace Chunn at running back (if he can be replaced)?

I guess there's a difference in philosophies. I want everyone to be better and I want to be the best. I don't get any pleasure in wishing someone to fail so I can look better.

I think they need to put up some sort of shade. Large awnings, bigger tents, etc. a 100 SF tent in a 400 SF area is going to be hot in Sep and most of Oct. If I'm going to pay for the area I'd want some more shade and a place to get under in case it rains.

Boise State became nationally known primarily for their blue turf. They're also a pretty good football team but they aren't a dominate one. If it wasn't for the blue turf most people would have never heard about them. They created a novelty that put them on a national stage long before they had good teams. Congrats to them for coming up with a gimmick.
I predict Troy will be ready for them. Our defense will suffocate them on an already hot humid day. The offense may be a little cautious until whoever is the quarterback throws some passes and takes some hits but everything will settle down and we'll dominate the third quarter and never look back.

Who's the top contender to take Chunn's place in Troy? Henderson? Frye? Or is someone else showing promise. Chunn was a powerful, hard hitting back.
