I'm just glad we haven't seen any white helmets this year. Well, if we did, I don't remember, just winning. PS: How are home/visitor decided for bowl games? Is it just a coin flip or is there something about the rankings? Only specific teams can pull of a white helmet. I liked ours with stars and stripes or camo but that's it.

On our way now. It’s been a couple long days but what would we do without family and the Trojans.

I was able to add them to my apple wallet right after purchasing. We they were. Now they are missing from my account and show up to buy. No refund or anything. Been on hold with the ticket office for 20 plus minutes now.

I noted something similar not long after Coach arrived. Someone pointed out that they are both natives of the same region (northern KY/WV). Makes sense to me. I thought HCJS was a space man. Huntsville born and raised? Went to Grissom in South Huntsville.

I have ATT and never have any issues with service inside or outside of the stadium. Pretty sure Troy is an AT&T safe zone 🤣 My wife and I struggle all over town when I come on Fridays to eat lunch w her. Noticed lately my family has the same issues even in town. I don’t remember having any issues when I was a student and I graduated in 2016.

1) This was a really good game and a really good win. We had 2 turnovers that cost us dearly. one of the those occurred when Doege tried to force the ball into the endzone by throwing to the middle of the field, across his body (which is always ill advised) and one on a play where he wa S*** as he threw the ball. That one led to a short field and the only TD of the day for USM. Were it not for those 2 plays, the score would have reflected the reality of the game, and that is that we dominated the thing. USM had 205 total yards of offense and only 48 of those were on the ground. We DOMINATED them but we had two plays that kept the score from reflecting that. 2) I can't tell you how disappointed I was at the crowd size tonight. 27000 + announced as paid, maybe, MAYBE 15 K there, but I doubt it. This was a crucial conference game against a geographically close opponent and we can't put butts in the seats. Ridiculous. 3) No matter how you consume your TROY football...in person, TV, radio, it doesn't matter, the opportunity is there to listen to the post game show on the radio with Barry, Jerry, Chris, and Junior. A lot of good information is provided by the coaching staff and the players that help make things clearer. Tonight, for example, Doege was discussing the final scoring play on which he threw a frozen rope to Tez for a TD. That play came about as a result of something seen on the sideline (by coaches, players, analytic staff, he didn't say who), but somebody saw something. That something was relayed to our OC, Craddock. His response? He drew up that scoring play, on the sidelines, in the middle of a game, based off what the defense was giving us. Now I don't know Craddock from Adam and I have no dog in the fight, other than wanting the most success possible for TROY, but this hardly seems like something an OC who has no idea what he's doing would be able to do. Six games into the season, and he's drawing up plays on the sidelines that lead to touchdowns. Maybe we need to give him some time to settle in and prove himself before we try to run him off. Great points. I’m the weirdo at the game with my Walkman from 2001 so that I can listen to our awesome crew live and catch every detail. I believe some stadiums sell radios to rent to listen to the game. I believe Auburn was on at one time. I’d rent one every home game.

^ HCJS doesn't want to get saddled with the rep HCLB had towards the end of his career as being an anti-officials coach. I felt several calls were truly egregious but I guess we just have the trust the conferences why they say they review the crews thoroughly after each game. Do we know if we were allowed to submit any plays for review/clarification by C-USA or Sunbelt? And if allowed did we?

Ole Miss possibly but definitely WKU because its a shorter drive than home games in Troy from HSV area. Main reason I wanted WKU and MTSU vs Old Dominion and JMU because of how close they are.

The hot topic in DoD right now is Digital Engineering. I’m not sure that ABET offers a degree in that yet. Troy could get in early by offering degrees and certs before the engineering schools catch on. As someone with a Computer Science degree from Troy and who works for a DoD Contractor I can agree. When I was at Troy I wanted to minor in Cyber Security but the classes were never offered so I dropped the minor and graduated earlier. We barely touched anything on newer programming languages or frame works. We had some really good professors and some that not really good at all. Hopefully after the renovations to Math and Science they added more than one outlet plug for students to use.

Auburn started somewhere though. Troy could offer less expensive degrees than the big schools, just like every other school in the state does not named UA or Auburn. Yes, in specific niche areas but it seems like the Aerospace market is already covered. I am not saying this is something that should be completely ignored. Auburn had record numbers of applicants this year (+155% compared to 2020, AU joined the common app + Suni Lee factor) and they had to reject tons of qualified applicants - this could be generally a chance for Troy. AU and mostly UAT attract many out-of-state students. UAT is very active recruiting in the New England region and AU attracts many kids from Texas, Atlanta area and international students. Troy is the true "University of Alabama" when it comes to represented counties in AL: www.al.com/news/2021/10/where-do-alabama-students-go-to-college-see-the-most-popular-choice-by-county.html Also, there is not much of a difference regarding in-state tuition when comparing TU and AU / UA. AU and UA are just extremely expensive for out-of-state students: TROY, 2019-20 In-state tuition 8,908 USD, Out-of-state tuition 16,708 USD AUBURN, 2019-20 In-state tuition 11,796 USD, Out-of-state tuition 31,956 USD ALABAMA, 2019-20 In-state tuition 11,620 USD, Out-of-state tuition 31,090 USD UAB, 2019-20 In-state tuition 8,568 USD, Out-of-state tuition 20,400 USD Also the fact we offer in state prices to several counties in FL and GA. I grew up in Columbus and if I wanted to go to Auburn(my dream school at the time) it would have been 40K out of state when I live 30 to 45 minutes away from campus. They stopped GA counties in state in about 2007. The question to study is how many students leave Troy after a year or two to go elsewhere for engineering.

I’m talking about when we went to AAMU in 2019. We lost 80 to 66 when I believe we had a double digit lead at half. I’m happy we are 10-4 and want to be bought in to CSC but I just haven’t been able to yet. Man, if you didn't buy into Scott Cross the day he was hired, and still haven't bought in after Troy's best start in about 20 years... with one of the most talented/deepest rosters we've had in years.... I don't know who Troy could afford to get you to buy in. Never heard of Cross before his hiring and wanted Hubert Davis. I am thrilled we are having success. I like what Cross has done off the court and behind the scenes. Just haven’t bought into his in game coaching and offensive style. Last night we seemed to be more tempo and run which I loved to see.

I can arrange tickets in Troy for your personal witness. Just PM me for a date. I have no issue getting tickets just finding time to back the trip. I’ll give coach a fresh slate in hopes to be buying in sooner rather than later.

Didn’t have a lot in him to begin with and all was lost with what I saw in person when we lost a double digit lead to AAMU. Didn’t agree with moves he made then and how our bench interacted with there fans. It was embarrassing and haven’t been able to see anything to gain confidence back in him. Granted I haven’t been able to attend a game since that one or watch on tv as much as I’d like to. Troy won vs AA&M U 66-57, what's not to like?? Early season, finding the right mix. Just how many AAMU fans showed at the game? I was there, can count on one hand. Troy bench sits on the other end of the Arena from visitor's bench? I musta missed it. 10-4. Speaks a plenty. Was able to watch some tonight and Cross was able to gain a little confidence back from what he’s lost. But he didn’t have to do much with a lead while I was watching. Please elaborate on what HCSC has "lost". Troy men's now stands at 10-4. Great start in SBC play. And best overall start in recent history.
