You let off the gas against an inferior opponent to not run up the score (for instance we could have scored 100 points on Savannah St in 2013 and it would prove nothing) Not starting the second half against a good conference opponent on the road in a place you have struggled for 17 years.

Neal even said today that in retrospect the play calling was changed and he shouldn't have done that. He knows.
It's not about running up the score. Clearly ULM came out in the 2nd half ready and hungry. TROY did not and they all admitted it, coach and players.
All we're saying is that when you have the chance to put an opponent away it must be done. Who on here was comfortable going into the 2nd half? I wasn't. If we had got 2 or 3 more scores without them scoring by the end of the 3rd, I might would've exhaled.

And for all of that, we still won. Learn from it, get better, and move on to Coastal. That game comes with troubles of it's own.
