We never should've let up. 20 unanswered points in the second half and all we did was run the ball burning clock. We needed more points and to keep on the gas

Sawyer Smith didn’t play in the second half, right? Also, we need more firepower, Douglas, Frye, Henderson, Samuel,... We don't need Henderson and his issues

Ok... It's over. We knew there was nothing pleasant about this game. From the high school stadium to the less than 1k attendance... this game was just one of those you have to get through. Now we get to go back to the Vet and play Coastal. See ya'll Saturday in T-Town!

Never understood changing up your game plan because of a lead and then not going back to it when you start to lose your lead.

Glad it was a win! Was, like everyone, getting pretty nervous at the end with all those three-and-longs while they chewed the clock. Go Trojans! I think I'll wear my new Troy shirt again tomorrow!

If we wouldve slowed it down instead of trying to stomp on their throats we wouldve won the game. Coach Brown has noticeably played at a slower pace at certain points in games to a) run the clock and b) give the D a rest. Its a fine balance.

We don't need Henderson and his issues and Frye was ejected. No excuse for that. You control your emotions if you are a disciplined player. You let your team down

Go Troy! I hope our conservative play philosophy is adjusted after this display. On to Coastal Carolina.

It reminded me too of a trip to Louisiana (Baton Rouge) with the change in offensive philosophy in the second half. Great we won but (note to self) if visiting to Louisiana keep the pedal to the metal and hope the cops understand.

Targeting is getting ridiculous. I hate that rule. I retract my statement on his ejection. Difference in getting ejected and getting it over targeting call

Like mufasa said on Lion King " It is time" I know it’s a win but it almost feels like a loss to me.You don’t sit on a lead for a whole half no matter who you are playing. The LSU game was different, that was a 35 point lead with a qrt left, not a 28 point lead with a whole half left.We have a lot of growing up to do and coaches need to learn and grow from this too.Too much talent for garbage like this to happen.

HOWEVER, most of us sort of looked at the season as 3 parts of 4 games. Most of us hoped we would be 3-1 (realistically). As said: on to the next one and it is a W. I am happy to be where we are even if we are still a work in progress.
