So we’ve been watching our friends receive their season ticket orders for a couple weeks now, so we thought ours would be arriving soon as well. After all, we live just a few blocks from the stadium and we’ve been season ticket holders for many years. My wife inquired from the ticket office last week and they said we should have them this week. Still no tickets package. My wife inquired again and was told Wednesday at the latest. Then it became Friday. No wait... Monday. Uh, well.... We think maybe Saturday because we actually mailed them somewhere else to someone else and they told us they would bring them this weekend because they plan to come down to fan day.
Competency, basic recognition of names and addresses as well as truthfulness seem to be only the most casual of acquaintances at the university my family has been associated with since 1966. Athletic department ticket sales, learn your job and take a crash course on telling the truth. I can forgive a mistake but for you to lie and then continue to lie to protect your lie repeatedly I won’t forgive

Sorry to hear that. I know you must have been looking forward to getting them. In some things, Troy is big time, yet others they are not... like the luke warm hotdogs and flat cokes. 10,000 small sweatshirts in the bookstore and no man sized T-shirts or Polos. I had to go to the Internet to get my new car flags this year. Hang in there.

I am not sure but I assume it took a little while to figure out that there was an error. I constantly have to deal with this they my business. Most are errors and sometimes it is just not looking hard enough. I think we could all make the errors. Plus and this is the part that might just give you hope. I received someone else’s in mine. I just never actually looked to see I had 3 extra seats located in Section 210. That is not where I sit and yes a few of us on here will be at fan day and we will be downstairs cooking hotdogs for fan day. If your last name begins with B and you are in Section 210 you are in luck. Bringing them Saturday would actually get to TROY faster and for sure then mail starting tomorrow morning.

Close. We’re actually in 110 with 4 tickets. It’s frustrating because this isn’t the first time this has happened but previously it was handled better and truthfully. Had this employee been working for me, I would’ve canned him in an instance for deceiving a client

I don’t do many single malts much anymore. I’ve become a blend fan. With a good cigar I’ll go with a MacCallan 12 or 18. With a great cigar I’ll have a Dewars Signature Series if the occasion is right.

Mistakes do happen. Of course a few years back we were all looking and waiting up until nearly gameweek for tickets to arrive. The ticket office at Troy has improved immensely over the last few years.

I received my season tickets a couple weeks ago but haven't received my young alumni tickets yet. Does anyone know if they will be mailed as well?

I know it stinks and I'm glad it's not my tickets, BUT we are 2 weeks from kick off. You will have your tickets, they are not gonna let me in the gate this week because I already have mine. I think the ticket office (entire athletic dept) has grown leaps and bounds over the last few years. Hopefully a good ole apology will cover their error for you. As for the "lies" could it be they were looking at bad info from their human error? I have no dog in the fight, but this staff has been a pleasure to work with.

An honest mistake can always be understood. When they did it previously it was corrected quickly and it was no big deal. But this was a matter of changing the story repeatedly over days and finally the story changing multiple times in a single phone call before the truth was admitted. The truth would’ve been accepted right away by us and we simply would’ve responded “This is the second year guys, let’s do better” and that would’ve been that. Now I don’t actually believe any explanation at all and am already preparing to spend Saturdays in Tuscaloosa or Auburn for my college football fix if Troy lets me down again

From what I’m witnessing, their process is getting worse, not better. I’m sorry about your issue. We called a few weeks to try to get some tickets for friends and it was Keystone Cops. It’s tough especially when every other program doesn’t have the same issues as we do. It’s not rocket science. But yeah the bold face lying to you is tough to ignore. Hopefully one day someone up there will realize what customer service is and what it can do both negatively and positively for an organization

Maybe just one of you should have called asking for the exact same thing. I however, have never had any issue ordering tickets, for any sport from,Troy Athletics.

Yes, WE know you don’t have an issue. You don’t have issues with incompetence, laziness and just plain ole being sorry. Exhibit A: you thought Rowell would be an excellent Head Coach at Troy.
