Well there’s your problem. (We) called. Maybe just one of you should have called asking for the exact same thing. I however, have never had any issue ordering tickets, for any sport from,Troy Athletics. Yes, WE know you don’t have an issue. You don’t have issues with incompetence, laziness and just plain ole being sorry. Exhibit A: you thought Rowell would be an excellent Head Coach at Troy. ** nepotism counts for something, don't it??

The athletic department called my wife today about the issue and offered some solutions to the problem and their apologies. Apparently, our tickets went to Birmingham to someone with a similar name. Two years ago they went to someone in Troy also with a similar name. We seem to find ourselves in the midst of an identity crisis with our university. Fair enough. I told my wife we will change the name on the tickets to our company to avoid this yet again. If that doesn’t work it’s back to the U of A alumni association and tickets for the nose bleed sections. Good tailgating and vet groups there, though

If you had looked at the ticket you would have realized this. Its not that hard Your newest arrival will have to go to college somewhere else.

Just my .02 - not the best place or format to solve the problem - I do sympathize with you but we are still two weeks out. And I would hope they will make it right regardless if you receive the originals or not.

Good afternoon Troy fans. I have been keeping up with this thread because we ordered our tickets thru the Troy ticket office on Aug. 1st. We were told they would probably be processed later that day. I said we would pick them up at will call when we get there. I was told they would rather mail them to us. I said ok. The tickets came today along with a pair of tickets for another person for your Nov. 3rd game against Louisiana. The letter that came with our tickets was for the other person. I am not trying to throw anybody under the bus and I'm not sure if this is place to say the other persons name to let him know I have his tickets. I am going to bring the tickets with me and turn them into the ticket office when we get there. Any suggestions on what else I should do.

Wish they were my missing tickets, but ours were for 4 seats and it was the season ticket package. Right now, we’re assuming that there’s a fairly good chance we won’t have our tickets in time for Boise State so we’re considering making alternate plans for that Saturday. I’ll be a bit more hesitant about going through this a third time with TU.

We don’t normally get our away tickets till about 2-3 weeks before the game and the single game tickets at home going to I assume a Idaho or at least western address from another state maybe just a tad sloppy. I think our ticket person maybe a tad overworked and if they do get some student help they should be a little more careful. Thanks for bringing the tickets back. Seems like this year we are having a few more problems than usual

My Wells Fargo account says I was charged $63 for six tickets on the 2nd of this month. Still have not received mine. They told me they I'd have them within a week from when I ordered them.

Thanks Bubba for the additional advice. I will give the ticket office a call first thing Monday morning, ask for Maria and fill her in on the situation. Good call on your part for me to let the ticket office notify the person whose tickets I have and when they will receive them. On a brighter note, less than 14 days til kick-off. It tastes like a campfire to me. Lagavulin is peaty, but it has a balance that I like. Sometimes, I will go with a Dalwhinnie which is sweet and then when in a restaurant, you can always get a Macallan. I like Scotch, but it can get pricey. Good ole Kentucky Bourbon is the most go to. Four Roses, Blantons etc.

I think Maria needs more help and they should be more careful and now pretty much everyone knows about it and that will help to correct it in a quicker fashion. Any problem that a company or institution has will be dealt with as a little higher priority when it has been spotlighted. Most of the time things like this happen it is not necessarily people but process and in the case it is some student help then that can be corrected as well. This is just noting the problem and it’s scope so that it can and will be corrected.

Question is why does this keep happening again and again, year after year. Customer service is king. This is not rocket science. Zero Accountability ? These poor fan experiences will/are coming back to hurt us. If we win on the field but lose in the stands, all this will not get us to where we want to go. Hopefully someone, somewhere in that Admin/AD will care enough to get it running like a well oiled machine.

Everyone needs to relax. DT got the wrong parking pass so I called the assistant director of the Warrior Fund.....Resolved!
If you call the fine folks at Tory University they will take care of you. Were not many years from when our tickets looked like they were printed for a speech by Popcorn Suttons grandniece Bobbie Joe. CHILL! All is on the up and up.

**Update** Yesterday Steve Stroud from the athletic department visited our house and hand delivered our season tickets and included some lagniappe with them as well. Very nice touch! His visit was very pleasant and we’re grateful that this matter is now behind us. Our family is happy to be back drinking the Trojan Kool Aide again that I’ve enjoyed since 1966.
