I don't get the new end zone seats.
Positives: New facility and new seats. Exclusive indoor facilities for concessions and bathrooms.
Cons: Second highest priced seats in the stadium. END ZONE VIEW. Strategy will probably be to have the opposing team drive toward the student section in the 4th. Also overtime will probably be played at the other end.
It's just not for me. I have great 45 yard line seats and I expanded from 4 to 6 seats on the same row... eventually I want the whole row.

I like my seats on the 35 across from Student Section and Band. But End Zone seats are not that bad unless the play is on the opposite. And with the height of the seats, should be really good.
One downside - being up under the Big Board - the big board is going to be nice from where I sit

Now that the NEZ is complete, what’s the time table for indoor practice facility? With the gags having to change plans on stadium, getting a real brick and mortar indoor facility would keep us way ahead. The gags IOC is little more than an aluminum shed with no walls.Getting way ahead and keeping them in our shadow is a big deal.

I was 100% on board with everything you are saying until I saw it first hand last week. Is it still an endzone view, yep. Am I giving up my 50 yard line seats to move, nope. It is a great set-up and an all-inclusive feel though. The concession area and rest rooms may be worth the cost. Yes the video board is an issue and I wonder if they will change the price point next season. Shall be interesting to see.

I'd think once we get that $3,000,000 buyout for CNB, we could apply that to a structure.

At least we should start discussing/planning it. There is this academic study (Texas Tech professors) which found that the actual announcement and years of building and simply advertising future athletic facilities to recruits do more for a program than the actual buildings itself once built. They even suggested announcing upgrades years in advance to take max advantage of this effect.

Yeah “announce it they will come”,I just want to stay so far ahead of south that they can’t even see our tail lights.the ipf would be only thing south has on us and we have to eliminate anything they have on us.

Uh we did that already. The North Endzone Facilty was sold to recruits for at least 8 years. Great, so let's do it again then! We need to. The North Endzone highlights what a dump the rest of the stadium has become. Especially the home side -and that's not even arguable. Look how old and tired it is in this updated picture. Those lower deck bench seats haven't been updated since Willie Tullis was running around the field. The upper deck has remained as is, since it was built. At least chairback seating would help and add color. Right now it looks like an old relic from the Soviet Union. Doesn't have to be very much... A lot of wasted/unused space in the south endzone.

I agree, this should be next, get D-Ware, Osi, Tynes, and Leodis to contribute to it AND/OR schedule 2 or 3 money games in addition over the next 5 years. Heck, I would schedule two money games every other year over the next 10 years, tons of ca$h and even more opportunities for upset wins.
I would rather play two more money games, let's say @ UGA, and @ Iowa, make +$4M (upgrade the stadium) and maybe even beat Iowa than having that WKU series and split the series 1-1.

Anyone have any insight on the premium concessions/drinks that will be available in the NEZ? My bride is anxious.
Surf Report:
Good morning, we have mostly cloudy skies, air temp is 76, water is 84, wind is blowing 7-14mph out of the N. the high tide will be at 9:26 am and the low tide will be at 8:17 pm. Surf is flat.

I know there is a Margarita Machine and 'supposedly' a full service liquor bar. As for the food, couldn't tell you!

I saw a margarita machine and hear its going to be fresh food there. The bride of DT had no issue with upping the giving so long as her concessions experience was updated. The concessions on the home and visitors sides are laughable.

If this is true, then I take back everything I said about the NEZ. If I could sip Bourbon without hassle while watching The Trojans, that would be a selling point for me. Here's my question... can you gain access to the NEZ from the rest of the stadium? I might just buy a ticket for the Bourbon. Drink a couple....walk back to 45 yard line.... go drink a couple... stumble back to 45 yard line.... go drink a couple... crawl back to 45 yard line... go drink a couple... heck I can't go back to the 45 yard line. Somebody call me an Uber.

Yes, you can easily access the NEZ from either side of the stadium as long as you have the credentials to show.

According to the packet I received, I must have this around my neck to access any of the NEZ facilities.

I agree this why Buzz and momma Buzz have two tickets over in NEZ. Crazy I know but all year we would be wondering what was going on over there. I am not kidding. YOU HAD ME AT FROZEN MARGARITA. Most of time in usual seats but going to the Taj Ma Potties over there and concessions of Frozen you knows was a great selling point
