Well, "energized" is not alway manifested by screaming and hollering but if that's what any fan needs to enjoy the experience that's great and it would be a sad venue without that, I COMPLETELY AGREE. I love the excitement but I see many great fans that come regularly from good distances to enjoy being a part of that experience but do it THEIR way. I know a lot of folks who see any activity other than the game as an enhancement. Often they are there as a wife or friend who are not football fans but love the pomp and circumstance that comes with it. They buy that same ticket. I think we are all in the same page in what we want, a full stadium for whatever the reason. That's why the BAND is so darn important to the entire picture. The more they can add spice that send chilly bumps up folks arms then they are a HUGE part of the event....like a horse and warrior or chant. It's ALL good! I think we agree!!! cornhole's wife not a football fan AND can't stand cornhole when he show out for the mighty Trojans! cornhole explains that "Fan" is short for "fanatic" and job of fanatics is to holler, yell, scream, whistle and use any means to advise coaches and zebras at every incorrect call. cornhole, by policy, does not yell at player. Corn hole, I won't argue with your point or enthusiasm but after years of playing and coaching the old knees and legs don't work as well as they once did back when we were the Red Wave so jumping up is limited but I can yell sitting with the best of them. However a lot in our section is older than me but some still can let er rip! Age, not lack of enthusiasm, tempers our physical expressions but not our vocal ones. See everyone at the Vet this Saturday.

So...lets get the memo over to cheerleading to start up "seven nation army" a few times Saturday and to get some posters that read "Cry"and "Havoc" to involve both sides of stands. Great news is both are pretty cool and it don't cost a dime to try!! Based on the crowd response decide if we want to use it long term...t's that simple! Who on here has the ear of the cheer team??
