I laugh at Southern Miss taking trash. They beat a lousy KY team that UF with no offense crushed SAt and beat Savannah St who would get beat by Hoover High while we lost by 6 to the #2 team in the country Not sure it works that way. Southern Miss is a good team.

I live on the coast and I can tell you the worst buffet and worst place to eat crab legs is at the beau...that place has gone downhill like you would'nt believe...you'll be eating crab legs that were cooked 2 days ago....any other casino but the beau...really, trust me on this one....now back to my smack talk...........You guys are just gonna get beat like a rented mule...and we won't care if we get our deposit back neither. I'm tellin ya, it's gonna be like you are Custard and we are The Injuns.... you people are gonna get scalped like a cheap ticket to a Saints game....or a cheap trick ticket to a chinese man...or something like that.............anywho....you come down here...and there won't be nothin left but a blood spot. I'm warnin ya now!...man oh man, it's gonna be a horrible site alright. You might live on the coast but I eat on the coast. Crab legs are fresh there on Friday. I've written more articles on crab legs in Biloxi than crabs you've consumed, little nugget. Therefore, I am going to sip on my free red wine, eat piece of tiramisu and think of all the tears you will be dropping on Saturday night. Hang tight, little nugget, it will be over soon.
Does the Beau serve Dungeness Crab? You might want to call and check. Treasure Bay Casino I believe still serves them every night of the week. Snow Crab or King Crab aren't as good or easy to peel as the Dungeness. Have you ever had Dungeness crab legs? If not, you may not know what the heck I am talking about. I personally won't go to a casino buffet if they don't serve the Dungeness.

RECEIVING YARDS
TROY
D. Douglas, 80
18 REC, 138 YDS, 2 TD
USM
I. Jones, 88
6 REC, 175 YDS, 2 TD
Team Stats Troy USM Points Per Game 40.5 50.0
Points Allowed Per Game 23.5 17.5
Total Yards 546.0 567.5
Yards Passing 284.0 252.0
Yards Rushing 262.0 315.5
Yards Allowed 334.0 225.0
Pass Yards Allowed 226.5 171.5
Rush Yards Allowed 107.5 53.5
Pretty close stats through first 2 games. If you take out the weakest opponent for each team and compare the results, USM has a slight statistical advantage. And I mean slight. However, USM's defense didn't play against the No 2 team in the country and the No 1 Heisman Trophy candidate. Kentucky on the other hand hasn't broken .500 since 2009 and have been a dismal 12-26 since Stoops arrived. The key in my opinion will be special teams and how well we finish. A lot of emotions and effort was left on the field in Clemson, which is the way it ought to be. Obviously, I'm pulling for T and will be in the stands yelling for them. Passing: USM +25 yds Rushing: USM +121 yds QB Interceptions: Troy +1 INT by defense: Troy +1 PA:Troy -5 points PF: USM +18 Yards allowed: USM +5

First off to the stat comparison, keep in mind Mullens and Ito Smith only played a quarter and a half against Savannah St. And while I am impressed with the game you guys gave Clemson, keep in mind two things. 1. #9 Georgia only beat FCS Nichols St. by 2 points and should have lost the game. There is a big difference between a team playing flat and having the same talent. 2. YOU LOST!

This has everything to do with what Troy has. I understand your point-of-view, but the perception USM has garnered from last season's mauling of the western conference of CUSA has not impressed my. Gaudy QB numbers, but not much competition. Fast-forward to 2016 and you beat a basketball school and an FCS school like you should have. Still not impressed. The only way your QB doesn't play the whole game this weekend is if he's unable. Be prepared for the best competition your team will see all season.

They might be easy to peel but I like for my snow crab to have lots of meat just like our Defense. Big, Juicy and Solid.

Your little sunbelt team is weak and worn out from putting all your misguided and fruitless effort attempting to beat Clemson...They were toying with your boys and laughing at you all game long....you have no more energy left...no more heart....no brain...no strength....you are weak and worthless....and when SM gets finished crushing you like a teeny tiny bug you'll realize that....SM is 18 wheeler windshield, and your scrawny football players are lovebugs......**SPLATTT!!**

This game scares me. While I don't think Hop and the boys are overlooking it, I'm sure our fans are.
Stats can be used in a number of ways but we can't really compare because unfortunately we don't have a common opponent. Honestly i think we've seen that Kentucky truly sucks and Savannah State was plum horrible.
Austin Peay hasn't been known to be a powerhouse. But the Clemson game. That concerns me. Auburn barely lost to Clemson. Auburn is probably better than Kentucky. The question is did Troy play their full potential and blow their load hoping to beat the number 2 team in the nation or did Clemson play down to the competition? Or could Clemson be overrated? It concerns me on 2 levels. One that Clemson is really good and Troy played with them because they're good. USM hasn't been tested like that this season. Two maybe Clemson isn't that good but the confidence is there to spark Troy into coming into the Rock on Saturday and taking a game from us. It's football anything can happen.
I think our boys saw the score from Sat and I'm sure Hop has viewed the film and made notes. Same with the AP game.
I think we'll see a game that will be a hard fought game the first half. Unless Troy just unleashes hell and injures half the team, the second is USM's. I predict a close game. 32-26. USM on top of course.

There is a big difference between a team playing flat and having the same talent. 2. YOU LOST! Chill out, dude. There was nowhere in my comments any derrogative remarks about USM. I was just stating the facts for conversation. But since you started it.... First, I finished by comparing the two teams against their toughest opponent. Kentucky 0-2. Clemson 2-1. Second, I would agree that we may not have the same talent in some positions as Clemson. However, based on your comment one would surmise that USM has equal talent to Kentucky then. I'm not so sure that's a good thing. Third, Clemson has a Heisman trophy candidate and Kentucky doesn't. Our defense (equal talent or not in your opinion) did limit Watson and force him, not the backup QB, to throw two INTs. It may give you a warm fuzzy thinking that Troy's performance Saturday was a fluke. But, at the same time I bet the USM coaches are taking the Men of Troy for granted. Maybe you shouldn't either.

Why would that be the case? We knew it'd take a few games for our offense to catch up with the defensive production, but the adjustments were solid and Mr 4,000/1,000 had 55 rushing yds and his 1,500 yd back had 34. Say what you will, but the Troy front 7 is stout. Peruse the depth chart. Defense is good. As long as we can turn you guys over a few times and not give you the ball more than once or twice, I like Troy's chances...a lot. As an aside, I just saw a tweet where #33 is moving back to RB this week from FB...I like that.
