Ok did you see them? Here say, second hand info. Let it begin. Every time player problems get brought up this is what will be said [ Ok, no to disappoint you I'll begin it, it's just flat wrong to accuse someone of something unless you have proof ("Maybe if the players (plural includes all of them) would quit going to the Front Poarch all the time......many of them like to get drunk including one particular QB...."). IF YOU HAVE PROOF then tell the appropriate people for action then you can nail them (the coaches or AD) if they don't do their responsibilities. Which QB? Should us readers assume it's all of them, there are 5 you know? It's just unfair to color everyone with the same crayon and you do that when you generalize. I know I would be ticked if a fan implied I did something like being drunk when I was completely innocent. This year is a disaster, everyone knows that and everyone shares the blame to some degree. There are some great kids on this team so be specific or be careful what you say. As to coaches, time will take care of those felt unworthy to remain on staff. Now you can blast me for my opinion. I mean no ill will toward you by my position on this , I know your frustrations and I'm as ticked as you obviously are and everyone else is but I hate seeing things like this and it accomplishes nothing good. If some are going to places such as this and drinking period then something needs doin'!.... but only to those doin' it! Now feel free to nail me back my friend! Go Tgojans! It's fine to name coaches, as they're just as adult, and in some cases, moreso, than we are. Please be mindful of disparaging players by name...

My point was since YOU CANT name names of players here, then don't generalize to include everyone. Common sense!

I get where you are coming from but I wouldn't mind hearing the perspective of some of the players' parents

People need to know how bad it is. They have one shot at getting this coach hire right or we will lose some great kids.

Boy, these are just dark times all around. Obviously there are systemic issues with morale, discipline, and behavior on this team. It doesn't really appear that it's going to get different or better this year. What can you do when the well is so thoroughly poisoned.
While we might disagree on what changes are needed, I don't think you'll hear a single Trojan advocating the status quo. I just want to look back in a year or two and see this as the year of rock bottom before the rise.

The QB throwing the ball because he as mad is inexcusable. You are suppose to be the leader on the team and you get sacked and throw the ball cause you're made?! Give me a break.
Immature, inexcusable and unprofessional.

Not going to happen we might upset a player, they don't line getting told what to do . 1-6 with three blow out losses and a loss to a glorified d11 school is what you get with no discipline and the Indians telling the chiefs what they will and will not do

Insanity = Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Brandon silvers is not the answer. You put Pruitt in to get reps when the game is out of hand. Of course he is pissed. Division 1 defensive backs consistently biting on play action and quarterback pump fakes. That is terrible.

Most parents are some what removed from the program. Most know less than you. This train wreck has been forming for quite some time.

Of course up until this year the offense was very good. How much blame and how much praise that goes to coaches and players is up for debate.

Someone please explain to me why Silvers was running so much (like ever other play) against NMSU? We were sitting behind his father and I'm sure he heard us talking about the fact that his son was being brutalized for no reason (plays didn't work and Silvers is slow), when we had very good backs doing nothing. Even toward the end of the game, Silvers was running when he should have been on the sidelines. The play calling was so predictable and boring.
On the defense, again we had CBs being left in the dust and never even looking back toward the ball.
I can't imagine what kind of coaching they are getting.

K D Edenfield is good for a Personal Foul every game - and he delivered again Saturday - poor leader that kid and he puts his dad and coach in a really bad situation. How can coaches expect respect from player when the coaches son is good for a personal foul every game and still starts, plays, etc.? I love the Edenfield family but what I just said is fact. I coach my son and if he did this a couple of times, his a$$ would be on the bench simply to set an example to the rest of the team.
I have to agree with many, it starts top down with the DC and OC. CLB could do something as well, but ultimately this goes on DC and OC. It's really tough to watch but I will see you guys in Mobile & Statesboro, GA
Go Trojans!

Reminds me a little of a Hines Ward in his mentality. It's hard for me to get too upset with him when I see some standing around doing nothing on the field. I will say I enjoy watching him block downfield.

Problem is most of those players aren't playing. Absolutely we have players that are dong things the right way. They need there shot. We are 1-6 time to give them a shot. Character wins championships to. Proof of that Is on the scoreboard, the 84 and 87 team. They weren't the biggest or most talented but they had heart and character.

That's just it......players,parents,fans don't decide who/when someone gets their shot. You respect your coach and trust he calls you when it's best for the TEAM.It's easy to be a team player when peoples selfish desire is being stroked... You've quit this message board more than once....... Our football culture has to be more resilient than that. Some of the best programs in College football have great players who had to wait 2-3 years to smell the grass......it is commonplace in college football.

And what can I do for my buddies. Small town thinking has lead to small town results. See the last 4 years.
